Quiero aplicar la garantía mi iPhone por presentar problemas pero vivo en Ecuador
No puedes aplicar garantia en Ecuador, ya que la garantia NO es internacional. Debes llevarlo a USA o enviarselo a un amigo que lo lleve a una tienda Apple en USA. Tampoco lo puedes enviar a Apple ya que ellos NO aceptan envios desde fuera de los USA.

Bueno, honestamente nunca había escuchado de un problema así pero te recomiendo que llames al número de AppleCare de tu país y veas si te pueden dar asistencia telefónica, normalmente así debería ser por tratarse de un equipo nuevo. Si con la ayuda que te den por ese medio no se corrige seguramente te dirán que lo lleves a un centro de servicio o con tu compañía telefónica.
Me extraña que te hayan dicho ellos que no podían hacer nada porque a mi en la mía cuando tuve un problema me cambiaron el teléfono (que estaba en garantía) pero algunas son menos 'amigables' con los usuarios. -

A menos que lo compres liberado, los iphone y celulares en general comprados en otros países no suelen funcionar en méxico y menos con Telcel. Procura comprar un iphone liberado o resignate a que sólo sea un ipod touch o todas tus llamadas sean consideradas como internacionales

If you are no developer, your phone is probably blocked until the new iOS is officially released by Apple. -

But, support and namely warranty coverage may not be available for you in Norway or anywhere but in the US with any iPhone purchased in the US, even an unlocked iPhone purchased in the US. -

If AT&T authorized the unlock and it was succcessfully completed, then you should be able to use your iPhone with any cell carrier in the Philippines that offers compatible GSM service. You'll need to get a SIM from that carrier.

Return it and get your money back. Virgin does not offer official unlocking, thus there's no way to get the phone officially unlocked for you to use it.

No 3GS sold in the US was ever unlocked officially. Any attempts to update a hacked or un-officially unlocked iPhone will likely result in it being relocked to the original carrier.
