In addition to what Larry said, there is a number of levels you can try for general issues, described in the following list. 1) and 2) are the easy ones, 3) is the basic preference file (irreversible procedure), 4) is the whole preferences folder (reversible and more thorough, needed for some issues), 6) is the full ultimate solution, 5) can be skipped in this case.
The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file, and when it is not caused by issues with opening a file from external media, see below. You may have tried/done some of them already; 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
If possible/applicable, you should save current artwork first, of course.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to at least 5 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible), for CS3 - CC you may find the folder here:

5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);

6) Uninstall (ticking the box to delete the preferences), run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

Please remove this program from this computer. It downloaded (taking up a lot of time), and now I find it can not help me make the conversion I'm after, and it's stuck on my computer- it won't remove or uninstall.
Don't ask me to go to FAQ because it won't SOLVE the problem.

I appreciate your concern. But again, please wipe out anything about me on your database. To make a long story short, my patience endured through telephone conversation with an agent (for which I waited about one full hour.)
The chats also failed to address my problem.
You have the technology to resolve the issue of Adobe Assistant, and the Adobe Illustrator. It just became a dead and wasted presence on my computer.
Next, I know when I should visit the FAQ. I don't need to do that.
I appreciate your E-mail, but to me it seems that sloppy organization is a result of poor inter-department communication.
A good chunk of your revenue comes from little people like me. I'm not oversimplifying the matter; you do have the resources to trouble-shoot. But from what I had experienced, too many of your agents were ill-equipped to advise; and when they do make the effort, they tell me what I already know, or I get cut off when trying to pull out the ID number of that transaction.
I might try it again when my new computer arrives, or- I will not do business with Shutterstock anymore.

En el menu de Ayuda, no hay un comando para Actualizar como en la mayoria de los programas?
Si abres el panel de Creative Cloud puedes ver las aplicaciones instaladas, entre ellas tendrás tu versión de Premiere CC instalada. Indica el botón a la derecha Actualizar (update)? Es la forma mas sencilla para actualizar. Normalmente te avisa cuando aparece una actualzaición de cualquier programa.

Adobe Ilustrator CC hangs in Windows 7 64 12GB Ram

We have several computers with the same problem, the user is working as normal and Ilustrator stop responding. In windows even viewer it says that is something with ole32.dll and I also have the adobe log. This happens since a week ago sever times a day.

La única versión disponible, con licencia "perpetua" que se puede comprar, sin mantener una subscripción anual, es Photoshop Extended CS6, repito CS6, la última disponible antes de empezar el sistema tipo Cloud.
- La versión CS6 y tambien la actual, funcionan igual que la CS5, lo único es que añaden nuevas opciones o posibilidades. -
En la página principal de Adobe.es, pulsa sobre comprar y... abjo del todo a la izqda., sobre fondo gris pone Creative Suite 6, al pulsar a'hi entras en el acceso a los productos C6.

(La versión CS5 dejó de comercializarse cuando apareció la CS6, o la CS5.5, hace ya mas de dos años)
(Quizás haya una diferencia en el panel de Ajustes que ahora se llama Propiedades e incluye opciones del panel de Máscara, y tambien se ha mejorado el interfaz de opciones del 3D, con una más que notabe mejora de velocidad)

¿Como desinstalo Adobe Photohop CS5?

Buenas tardes., mi nombre es Dani.
Mi problema es el siguiente:
Resulta que ayer eliminé todos los archivos que tenia en mi mac relacionados con Adobe Photoshop CS5 para liberar espacio y así poder instalar el nuevo Adobe Photoshop CC.
El caso es que después de poner el serial me aparece un mensaje de error diciendome que no se puede instalar porque hay un archivo corrupto de una versión anterior de Adobe Photoshop.
He intentado descargarme una version anterior para poder instalarla y despues desinstalarla correctamente, pero no la encuentro. Por supuesto, en mi ordenador no encuentro ningun otro archivo relacionado con adobe, los he eliminado todos, incluso he utilizado un limpiador (CleanMyMac)
¿Como consigo instalar el nuevo Photoshop CC?
