Como transferir a mi cuenta apps compradas por otra cuenta, o como "apoderarme" de esas apps?

Buenas, compre una MacBook Pro 15" usada. Traia muchas aplicaciones juegos etc, ahora puedo actualizar algunas, pero cuando trato de actualizarlas me aparece la cuenta del dueño anterior y me pide su contraseña. Como puedo hacer para pasarlas a mi cuenta? O sea que cuando quiera actualizarlas pueda usar mi id y mi contraseña? O debo pedirle la contraseña al señor q compro las apps en su momento y al cual yo le compre la mac? espero puedan ayudarme, saludos. Gracias.

You are using the same account that you originally bought them with, and to try and redownload them you were going to the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage ? Do the apps show on that account's purchase history : See your purchase history in the iTunes Store - Apple Support
If an app has been removed from the store, or maybe if it's changed developer, then you won't be able to redownload it.
If you've moved countries since buying them then they won't show there, though you might not be charged if you download them from the store (you might get a message about having previously bought it, and would you like to redownload it for free).

weird very weird. today i did this again today after already being unsuccessful earlier. exactly the same thing as i have done before, exactly. didn't try to import. didn't say damaged library, copied everything in including date. have tried it about 10 times no luck. today it just worked.
how weird is that?
oh well JG - maybe you mixed a magic potion for me?

to anyone else reading this all i can say is keep trying, you never know. follow the above advice. you may feel exasperated and think you have done it already, but keep trying.

I found an explaination from June 11, 2013 from The App Store team and wanted to confirm if this is the current proceedure. (see below) Thank you.

Dear developer,
Apps can now be transferred from one developer to another within iTunes Connect, for example after an acquisition or when a distribution deal expires. Transferring the ownership of an app does not affect the app’s availability on the App Store. All ratings and reviews will be transferred and your customers will continue to have access to all available app updates.
To transfer an app, go to the app’s App Summary page in the Manage Your Applications module on iTunes Connect and click Transfer App. Make sure that:
• Your account is active
• You have accepted the most current version of your contracts
• Your app has at least one approved version
• Your app is in the Ready for Sale, Invalid Binary, Rejected, Developer Rejected, or Developer Removed from Sale state

By updating my iphoto will my old pictures automatically be transferred into the new app. or will they be lost?

My iphoto 6 importer for facebook wont sign in anymore so I am thinking of updating it to iphoto 7.

I don't think the password will matter, because you can't use anything on the iPod or in iTunes to transfer song files from iPod to computer (except for songs purchased from the iTunes Store). However, there are third-party methods and utilities that can transfer from iPod to computer. If you do a Google search on something like "ipod transfer," you should get some links.
The simple software "lock" used on iPods should not prevent you from off-loading the song files. Once the song files are on your computer, you can add them to your iTunes library. Then, you can do a Restore on the iPod to give it a fresh start and sync it (and the iPod touch) as desired.

I use an app called Safe Notes. I store info in that app for use at a later time. Naturally I was able to download the Safe Notes app from the Play Store, but is there a way to transfer the info that I had saved on my Bionic to the Note 3?

You might try using bluetooth. If that doesn't work, you might try putting the data into your computer/tablet, and then transferring it to your new phone.

Why did i lose my apps and data after syncing to another new computer? i clicked transfer but only transfered part of the apps?

Okay basically i had 166 apps in my ipod...
After i bought new laptop and wanted to sync into it, it said to transfer apps from ipod touch to laptop, i did, but it only transferred part of it and said the remaining was not able to be transfered...
i had encountered this problem when i transfered the apps in my old pc to my old laptop, now that i wan to transfer apps from my old laptop to my new one, i thought i knew what to do..
i knew the problem was with the fact that the other apps was bought with another apple id thus not able to transfer as it is not yet authorised... while it was syncing, i authorised the older apple id that the apps was not synced yet... after i did, i realised i was left with the apps bought with my new apple id only...
then i realised i lost all my data on my older apps, like the privacy photo app which had memories of my photos stored in it.. tap tap 4 all my songs in it... and 70 other apps..
What happened? this did not happen in my previous attempt during my transfer of apps from old pc to old laptop... so why?
its really really sad... all my data was lost, i got back the apps though.. but data in it all LOST...
what to do? can i still retrieve it back?

- Try redownling the apps by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
The computer has to be authorized and signed into the account that originaly purchased them.
- When all the apps are ih the iTunes library, try restoring from backup if you have the backup that would contain all the app date. I would turn off autosyncing (go to iTunes>Prefernces>Device and check the box titled Prevent iPods...automatically" to prevent overwritting the previous backup.

When you click on an event to get the full details in a separate window, like a phone number for the meeting, if you move to another app like Skype the details window hides and you cannot look at the comments.

It's not iDVD that opens when you insert a burned DVD, It's DVD Player. Set the Apple preferences to igonre when inserting a video DVD. You will have to launch DVD Ripper manually and locate and open the VOB folder on the DVD disk.

I have the Olive Tree Bible Study app, which is one of the best tools I have ever used for study and within the app I purchased several resources/concordances that are very useful (plus they had up in the wallet, but very worth it)
I had it on my iPad 2 and when I went to back it up on my iMac, the app doesn't populate in the apps tab. This also applies to some of my games but I'm not that worried about losing those.
I am trying to get those particular apps on my iPad Air.
Has anyone else come across an issue like this?

Go into the App Store from your iPad and select Purchased, then select Not onThis iPad, and download the apps that you want. Because you already own them you can download them again for free ... provided that you are using the same Apple ID as you used when you originally purchased them.
In fact when I look up the Olive Tree app, it seems like the main app is free in any case.
Once you are in the app look for some option to restore purchases.
