Company Code wise message processing in Service Desk Solman 4.0

Hi Guru's,
                 We are implementing Solution Manager 4.0 service desk with SP 15.We have got a scenario like our branches are in dubai , USA and Nepal. All these locations have multiple company codes. So our company requirement is to handle the message company code wise.
                                  For example if the message creator is from company code 1000 then the message should go to support team belonging to  same company code 1000. Is it possible to create a rule in PFAC with container company code to achievthis or is there any other method ? If creation of container is possible with company code how does the system get the company code details from Business Partner?
Please give light into this issue.

    While executing in F.01 give all parameters without Business Area and Execute
    Apart from that if you need to additional thing go through dynamic selection in F.01.

    Hi Soma,
    Could you try Table-->CSKS. I believe it will give you the complete list of Cost Centers and the default Profit Centers along with Company Code info.

    Hi,
    There is no table which shows  direct relation between company code and plant, you will have to arrive at the assignment of the plants to the company code.
    But you can either write a query/ report to show this relation and a report with this relation and quanity will have performance issues if you are checking for huge data.
    You can refer to the query and check the quantity in the standard reports.

    upto my knowledge number ranges are independent of company codes. even though if you have created new document types and assigned to transaction codes these tcodes will worl  independent of company code .   so its not possible to have material documents on company code wise (Material document number ranges will be on  client level)

    Exchange rate table is not company code dependent. You can maintain, though, different exchange rate types.

  • Total records in IT0000 company code wise - SE16N

    Hello All,
    I need to check the total number of records in IT0000 for employees belonging to a particular company codes or personnel area. But there shouldn't be any duplicate entry for a personnel number in the total records.
    In SE16N I am able to get an entire list but not company code wise. Is there any way I can generate the  total no records in each infotype, on the basis of company code or personnel areas?

    1 - If you have activated Complementary Measures, you should look at table PA0302 instead of table PA0000.
    2 - As mentioned by Pedro, se16n will not allow you to get what you require in a single step.  An Ad Hoc Query could probably allow you to create the report you want.
    3 - Should you be able to get lists of employee numbers "on the basis of company code or personnel areas" (possibly using se16n to look at table PA0001), then you could use those lists to explore the different infotypes (tables PA0000, PA0002, PA0006, etc...) using se16n, but unless you restrict the output to the records with End Date = 31.12.9999 , you will end up with many records for each employee.

    Hello,
    Company code specific number range for Material documents not possible because, The number assignment for material documents and physical inventory documents depends on the transaction/event type which is also allocated to each transaction in Inventory Management. The transaction/event types are divided into groups of number ranges. A number range interval has to be defined for each group.
    You cannot change the transaction/event types. However, you can change
    the number range intervals or you can allocate transaction/event types to
    new groups.
    Inshort, All company code will be using the same transaction event key so it will not be possible to have different number range for material docuement based on company code.

  • Default document type for F-28 per company code wise.

    My client wants to default document types per company code wise for F-28.
    As per my knowledge in OBU1 is cross client and OBZO is accepting only customer invoice and credit memo but not customer payment.
    Please help with possible ideas to solve this issue, including any idea relates to substitution also. Your help is appreciated.

    Since OBZO is only for enjoy transactions
    I have verified the notes aslo but there is no possibility for F-28 by company codes
    Better you can use
    Prerequisite
    SYST-TCODE = F-28
    Substitution
    use Exit
    Inside exit you need fetch the document type as per the companycode
    to achieve this you need define one ztable with company code and document type columns

  • Need to move data only by company code wise to another client

    I need to move data from DEV client to one of PRD clients.
    There are two scenarios:
    1. The scenario is we have 3 company codes in DEV but need to move data of only 1 company code (that too customizing data).
    2. We want to move data, date wise also (i mean from 1 JAN to till date).
    Is there any possibility in SAP to do this?

    Not necessarilly correct in all cases. Purely depends on what data is being discussed here. ALso depends on how Business processes have been defined. In lot of projects master data like GL Accounts,Cost Centers,Profit Centers etc is created in Development and ALE'D to production. You can also move a lot of data via transports (cutomizing). Depends on what data is being discussed. Transaction data ..yes you would never do that . But customzing and master data you can; provided you have fool proof processes in place and have a good understanding of how ALE works for the concerned data !
    Coming back to the question :
    Yes you can do it. Never do it for transactional data. A lot of garbage might have been created. Master data if you are really happy with the quality do it via ALE (but do it first on a test box) .  Make sure however that all the relevant customzing is in place.  Sequence is import. What got created in DEV first must go to prod first or else you would have errors which of course can be solved but then why take the pain. Involve your FI-CO guys and Business process owners before you do it. Be a bit careful with chart of accounts !
    As I said try it on a test environment first..
    And why are people suggesting to use TDMS when it was mentioned that only customzing data is involved! Why did SAP create CTS then if customzing has to be moved via TDMS !! Or is the old point frenzy back again !

  • Delegation of BP/Message processor for service desk message?

    Dear All,
    How do you i perform the delegation of service desk messages in solution manager ?
    Message processor will assign the messages to some other person before he/she goes on leave but what will happen to the newly assigned messages? (Processor is auto determined)
    Is there any process thorough which message processor will assign substiute for a particular period ?
    (like we normally do in R3 for processing workitems)
    I tried to search the forum with the substitute or delegation word but was unable find the relevant thread. So posting a new thread.

    Service desk and incident management are the same
    Yes it is an old functionality and even was working earlier than workcenter
    if ur workcenter is not workign no issues just goto BP for the person and then click tab relationships
    now choose is replaced by  and then bp for the new person who is replacing.
    and similarly check or maintain REPLACES old person BP in the relationship tab of  bp of the new person.
    This is the idea and crux of ur solution which uses BP Relationship functionality

    We have implemented Solution 4.0 with service desk configured and working fine from my development system.
    i.e if i raise a message from development i am able to see in CRM_DNO_MONITOR
    But i have one more requirement in which my Solution manager System Client 100 will act as Service desk system and from same system and same client if i raise a message i will not be able to See the message in CRM_DNO_MONITOR.
    I have maintained following settings in solution manger
    Application: OSS_MSG
    Type : W
    RFC: NONE
    CUST640 and 1.0

    You need to setup the cash journal configuration where cash inflows and outflows will be recorded.
    The path is as follows:
    SPRO>Financial Accounting>Bank Accounting>Business Transactions>Cash Journal
