Company Logo in Excel Dynamic Templates

Hi,
I've been trying to change the company logo to my client's in all dynamic report templates by setting the COMPANY_LOGO application set parameter. Somehow it replaced the 3 globes image when opening BPC for Excel but all templates are still showing the SAP logo. I refreshed all templates through Client Options but to no avail.
Am I missing something?

Hi Daniel,
I tried as well but no luck. When I check the report downloaded onto my local folder, they're showing the SAP logo even though it's got my client's logo on the server. I went through all available xlt file on the server and none have the SAP logo at this point.

How to print company logo in Excel/ PDF after Enhancement Pack 1?

Hi all,
I realise this topic has come up time and time again but apparently this functionality has changed after Enhancement Pack 1 for BW....?
My problem is simple. I have a series of reports on our portal, formatted using the WAD, and there is a company logo on the reports. When exporting to PDF or excel, the logo disappears.
The SAP documentation states that the addition of the logo when exporting was not available previously, but it was planned, and seemed to imply that this would be possible in EHP1.
We have just applied EHP1 to our test system however I cannot find how to switch on this functionality or how to get the logo onto the exported reports. I can't find any documentation on how to do this.
Is anyone else using this after applying EHP1? Is anyone from SAP reading who can tell me where this functionality is??

Thanks but this doesn't work. It works exactly as it did before the Enhancement Pack and doesn't automatically display the image.
So I guess I am missing something - my image is a bmp. file, will this work or should I save it as something else?
Are there any settings in the WAD (either in the Web Template itself or on the button to export) which I need to change to be able to display this logo?
Or are there any settings I need to make in the backend of BW after the application of the Enhancement Pack?
Any more ideas please?

Logo in Excel Sheet and Appending Data under it

I have a requirement to insert Company Logo in excel sheet.
Is it possible?
Currently we have decided to have the logo already in the spreadsheet and append the data in excel under the logo.

How to print a company logo on top right corner in pdf

Hello together,
how can I print a company logo in a PDF-Document (Print Version; 0Analysis_Pattern_Export) on the top right corner. I created a own web template which just contains the company logo and included this template in the ZAnalysis_Pattern_Export (a copy of 0Analysis_Pattern_Export). I don't know what I have to change to get this logo (I have the path of the MIME and all that...) at the top right corner in the PDF-Document. In the own template I can change it from left, through middle to right, but without any consequences to the final PDF-Document.

thanks for your answer. But maybe I described it wrong. I have the logo still on my PDF-Document. I just want to have it on the top right corner and not, like it is now, on the left side of the paper. So the only question is how to move the logo to the top right corner?

Insert Company logo to WEBI CSS

I am trying to add a company logo to the webi template. I'm working with BusinessObjects 4.0. To develop the right CSS I am using Web Intelligence Rich Client. The CSS i am trying is:

When opening the Rich Client and trying to open a document, ,I can't see the company logo on the document. How can I do that? Is it also possible to add a line (like HTML <HR>) to the css and position this by default on the document ?
BTW The company logo is in the same folder as the css file.

The image must be either a JPG or GIF. Rob might change the PNG format of the image.
And some attributes should be modified as:
background-fill: bitmapAndColor;
background-type: box;

Company Logo does not appear in Excel and HTML, but appears in PDF and RTF

Hi,
I have a RTF template with my Company Logo Embedded. When I run the report from Standard Request Submission, and I give the output type as Excel or HTML, I dont see the Logo on my report.
When I give the output type as PDF or RTF, then I see the logo on my report.
Is there anything special I need to do, to see the Logo in Excel or HTML ? Am i missing anything.
I am using Oracle BI Publisher Template Builder for Word 10.1.3.2.0
I would really appreciate if you can pass your feedback.

How to change company logo dynamically using login information of the user in flex4 CSS styl method?

I am doing mxml flex4 web application. i am using a login in my application. this login for multi user purpose.
My need is when a user login using his username and password his company logo should show the top of my application and his copyright details show the bottom of my application
if another user login means his company logo and copywrights should show in my application.
This logo and copyrights details should change dynamically based on the login information.
I want to create this using CSS file (skins and sparks)

If the user is logging in, presumably you are having the user hit a back end web-server and database and using something like Blaze to connect? Right?
I personally would not do this with CSS. I would map the company icons to the users in the DB, retrieve the proper company icon and then pass it down (or embed it in the app) when the user logs in. Then, I would just set the source of the icon to be what I passed down:
Add your image where you want it to go:
<s:Image id="emptyImage" x="locationx" y="locationy".../>
Then in your ActionScript, when the user logs in and you know what company the user belongs you could do this:

Help for -Generate Report using Word template having company Logo

HI GUys,
I am trying to generate a report in PDF using the word template having some company logo as footer to that .
When user click on print ,the graph should be added to the template and its should output the report in pdf.
I am able to achive this when I 'm not using the template,but when I use the template (sample code shown below),its throws the error attached in screenshot.
pls suggest the possible way to achieve this

Why are you deleting the file after creating the report? Are you sure that the image exists at the path specified when running?
Also, in your top screenshot because of data flow there's a high possibility that you actually delete the file before it gets used because there is no connection between the end of writing the report and deleting the picture.
I also suspect there's a chance there might be a permissions issue - you are trying to get the file from another user's desktop which isn't normally allowed - do the file/folder permissions give you access to that file path? I would try putting the picture on your own desktop just to rule that out.

Linking external graphic for company logo to an XSL-FO template

I have been trying to link an image to the Standard Purchase Order Stylesheet XSL-FO template. Using the following line of code
<fo:external-graphic content-width="248pt" content-height="33pt" src="url('${OA_MEDIA}/company_logo.gif')" />
The image file is location on our server in the $OA_MEDIA directory. When the report is run the first page is empty apart from the header and footer information. I would grateful for advise.

I want to create one form used by both of our companies. When the user selects their location, the cooresponding company logo displays at the top of the form including all new pages generated. I was able to get this working with JavaScript but ran into a problem when merging the data to a spreadsheet using Acrobat. The image data exports and creates a huge column of data in my spreadsheet. How do I prevent the image data from exporting to the spreadsheet? This problem does not happen with Acrobat version 10.0.0 but does occur with versions 10.1.11 and 10.1.12.

Dump error when I click on 'open dynamic template' in Etools(BPC EXCEL)

Hi ,
I'm having this strange issue:
We are using BPC7.5 NW sp04
when user click on the option 'open Dynamic template' or 'save Dynamic template' in Etools it throws the dump error and when he/she click on OK then it'll let them open/save the template.
I tried different options like:
1) I dont get the error when I logon from the users laptop (using my userid)
2) User dont get the error when he\she logon from my laptop (with his/her users id)
Please suggest twe have this issue with three users as of now.

Error while opening the dynamic Template

Please try the following:
Clear the client cache if the problem is with a single client:
In BPC for Excel, click the eTools menu and select u2018Client Optionsu2019.
Click u2018Clear local application informationu2019.
Click u2018Refresh Dynamic Temnplatesu2019.
This will force the client machine to download the templates again.
Change the template version for the Application Set (AppSet) if the problem is with multiple clients:
Launch the BPC u2018Interface for the Webu2019.
Select u2018Administrationu2019.
Select u2018AppSet Parametersu2019.
Find the TEMPLATEVERSION parameter.
Increment the value by one. For example, if the value is .103, change the value to .104 and click the Update button.
This will force all of the client machines to download the templates again.
Manually download the files:
These files can be found in two locations.
Check the local machine for the files:
Check the local paths on the client machine to see if the needed files are there. The local paths for these files are:
My Documents\PC_NW\<domain>\<user>\AppInfo\<applicationset>\<Application>\eExcel\Reports\Wizard.
My Documents\PC_NW\<domain>\<user>\AppInfo\<applicationset>\<Application>\eExcel\Input Schedules\Wizard.
The files should be:
DESCRIPTION.TXT
IMAGE#.BMP
TEMPLATE#.XLT (where # is the specific number of the file).
If these files do not exist, they can be copied over from a working system. If all systems are giving this error, the files can be retrieved from NetWeaver.
To find the files in NetWeaver:
Run transaction UJFS.
Expand u2018webfoldersu2019.
Expand the Application Set (AppSet).
Expand the Application.
Expand u2018eexcelu2019.
Expand u2018reportsu2019.
Expand u2019wizardu2019.
The files located in this directory should also be located in My Documents\PC_NW\<domain>\<user>\AppInfo\<applicationset>\<Application>\eExcel\Reports\Wizard.
To download all of these files, right click the u2018wizardu2019 folder and select u2018Download All Documentsu2019.
Once the files are downloaded, unzip them into the local directory.
go back to u2018eexcelu2019 from Step 5.
Expand u2018input schedulesu2019.
Expand u2019wizardu2019.
The files located in this directory should also be located in My Documents\PC_NW\<domain>\<user>\AppInfo\<applicationset>\<Application>\eExcel\Input Schedules\Wizard.
Follow Steps 9-10.
If these files do not exist in NetWeaver, they may not have been transported properly. If this is the case, go to the source system and download the files and then right click the folder in NetWeaver and select u2018Upload Document from PCu2019 on the destination system.

To send company logo through mail

I am able to create a html template in mime repository and able to send the template in a mail using cl_bcs. the problem is the comapny logo is not coming in the mail with the template . instead some text 'cid:image000..' is displayed in the paceholder of the company logo. how can I pass the logo or image ... as a html template through cl_bcs.

I think you can setup the type of email in Shared office Settings in transaction S016.
There is an option called <Preset document classes>
You choose this pushbutton to branch to the maintenance screen for the document classes that are directly displayed to users in the Business Workplace for selection when they use the Create function. The name under which the documents are displayed can also be maintained.
