Company Names Not Showing In Incoming Calls

Hi there.
Been loving my time with the Z10, but there is something that makes me crazy.
I have a lot of contacts, and a lot of them with the same name. One of the ways to see who is calling me was in my old BB9320 the company name of the caller.
In the Z10 i can't figure out why it isn't an option.
Is there any way to show the company name when someone is calling me?

Contact names not showing with incoming calls!!!

Hi all,
I just got my E71-1 yesterday and upgraded from a very effiecient E61i....everything was going smooth until all of a sudden, contact names stopped appearing with incoming calls and SMS's.
I went through the forums searching for a solutions and apparently alot of people experienced the same thing.....except in my case, I do not have any duplicate names or numbers!!!!
Any ideas what could solve this???

There is a fix for it but you won't like it. I have tried it a few times and it always works but it involves a lot of work. This is what you do.
1. Make a backup of nothing else but your contacts only.
2. Delete all your contacts from both phone and sim card.
3. Start by entering the troublesome contacts from scratch making sure not to duplicate any numbers.
4. Now get those people to ring you to make sure that your CLI is working fine.
5. If it works then start entering the rest of the numbers, once again making sure there is no duplication whatsoever.
6. If it doesn't work, just restore the backup you made of your contacts.
I am fairly sure it will work, but just in case it doesn't you can always restore your backup and you are back to square one.

Blackberry Z10 Contact names not showing on incoming calls

My blackberry Z10 is not showing the contact names when I receive an incoming call. My country code also correctly selected. Contacts are not duplicated also. But contacts without the leading 0 is showing

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community.
When using the country code included in the phone number field of contacts, you may not be able to see contact names on incoming calls even though the country code is correct.

My Iphone 5 updated to IOS 6.2 and now my contact names do not show on incomming calls or text messages. All i can see is the number of the person calling. how can i fix this?? please help

I updated my iphone software to IOS 6.2 yesterday and im not sure if it is a coincidence but now, my contact names do not show on incomming calls or messages. Also they do not show on past calls or recent history.
All my contacts in my phonebook still exist and are correct, the problem only occurs when receiving calls or messages. please help i need this fixing

Try to restore your iphone via iTunes or update to ios6.1.2.
If itunes gives an error with restoring (DFU/Recovery or just normal)
try this:
open your computer and search on windows; C://windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts
open up the hosts file in note pad you will see IP adresses and more add another line and put in this:
#74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com
this is a by-pass to the cydia/saurik restore server, it has nothing to do with jailbreaking over voiding apple's warranty
let me know if succeeded!

Contacts not showing on incoming calls

Hi. I have a 9300. I do not subscribe to call display with my carrier provider, but used to get a picture of the person calling me if they were one of my contacts. I plugged my phone into my computer and got all the updates it suggested. Now when someone calls from my contacts, it just shows them as unknown. Anyone know how to get this working again? Thanks so much!

I had the same issue. I just visited the Apple store today. He switched my keyboard settings from english to french and back again. That corrected my issue. Hope this can help you, too!

No Contact Names or Pics Showing for Incoming Calls?

I just got my phone yesterday. I have clean sync with my MacBook Pro. I thought that contact names should show for all incoming calls if that person and number are in my contacts. I also thought a photo would show if there was a photo in the contact as well.

I had a problem somewhat similar when I first bought my IPhone as well. My iPhone would show the numbers in international format with the 011 in front of all the numbers which made the contacts not show up when calls were incoming. I had to contact AT&T and spent 4 hours on the phone until someone actually figured out what was wrong and fixed it in less than 3 mins. It wasn't even the iPhone it had to do with the phone I previously had through Cingular/AT&T. The person said it was some sort of provisioning or something like that with some incorrect settings that screwed with the incoming calls only. This problem also would make the contact picture not show up as well for anyone in your list. This might help or maybe it won't. Good Luck figuring it all out. I still love my iPhone and haven't had too many problems with it

Err this is no longer April 1st you know.
The iPod Shuffle has never had a 'display' on which track names can be shown. PS. The current iPod Shuffle even though it has no display on which it can show the track names can read them out loud to you using a voice-synthesiser this is the VoiceOver feature described on the iPod Shuffle product page I listed above.

Start with your finger at the bottom of the screen (about even with the home button) and swipe in an upward motion. There should be a row of icons at the top of a grey field. if the quarter-moon icon is bright white, tap it. If it was (and still is) dark, take the iPhone in to be evaluated by a qualified technician.

on left side of your phone you have volume controll an right above that is a small button an if you see a orange or red dot you are in silent mode flip the switch up an it will remove silent .
