Plz help me ...... i need conexant HD smart audio 221 sound driver.....
Actually i reinstalled the XP and came to know that the sound is not coming...
when i checked it...sound driver was missing some files likes AUDSYS.exe and UIU32A.exe etc.
By mistake, my friend had been uninstalled the sound driver. then the problem has been increased...
2 days back...i went to local compaq shop...they installed some sound driver which is working but at the same time
head phone and speaker both are working continuously...means if u want to listen through head phone... speaker also working with head phone....
sound is coming through both devices.....
Plz help me regarding this....and provide me presario c795tu audio driver.....

Hi,
Here are the drivers.
Unzip to a folder...use Device Manager.
From Device Manager,right click "Audio Device on High Def Bus",choose Update driver,
No to connect,
Install from a list or specific location,
Select Don't Search, I will choose the driver to install,
For the Hardware Type select 'Show All Devices'
Remove the check from "Show Compatible Hardware" and click on "Have Disk".
Next...browse to the unzipped folder and choose the "WiSVHe5.inf".
Ignore XP when it complains.

It does not make any sense. Based on its support page, it uses "Conexant HD-Audio SmartAudio 221 Driver" for Vista

Driver needed plz help

i have hp pavalion pc 762d. it was installed with windows xp home edition but i formated and installed windows 2000. i have also updated the os with service pack 3. i realised that the my hp pavalion pc 762d uses a msi mainboard. but i am not sure of the model. i have some problem installing a driver for PCI device.the device is located at PCI bus 0, device 31, function 3.please help me to identify the device and driver. could you provide me with the link to download the driver. thank you very much

now i have another problem. the motherboard has a built-in audio but i disable and installed creative sound blaster audigy and installed all the drivers and it work perfectly. since i do not want any sound effects in windows, in the control panel, sound and multimedia option, i choose no sound under the scheme. but when ever i empty my recycle bin there is a beep from the computer ( not the speaker) how do i disable the beep. thank you.

Compaq presario f750us sound and dvd drive issues

i have a compaq presario f750us runnin windows 7 ultimate 32-bit when i first turn on the machine the sound and dvd drive work correctly but after about a hour of it being on both devices stop working an they dont appear in device manager.

I have a 845 Pro MS-6529 Mainboard and i recently just scrubbed my computer and reinstalled windows ME. But i need to re-install the driver for sound because i can't hear anything but when i downloaded it , the files did not work and i've tried redownloading and etc and any other way possible the computer says there is no new driver software on the computer for it. Hp Compaq Presario 2100 screen stays black, please help!

My laptop, which is a HP Compaq Presario 2100, stopped working. I'll try to explain the best I can what's going on:
When the laptop is plugged in and then turned on, all of the lights on it will turn on, all of them except for the power indicating light. The screen remains completely off, and it doesn't sound like the hard drive is running, just the fans. The CD drive and floppy drive both work. The weird part is that the things that do turn on only stay on for about 10-20 seconds and then everything shuts down. And no matter how long the laptop is plugged in the charge light never turns on and the battery in the laptop never gains any power. I can tell this because this particular battery comes out and has a manual indicator of power on its side.

How do I replace a compaq presario C762NR hard drive and re-install windows?

My friend brought me her computer and said it would not boot up. I tried to boot in safe mode and normal mode and it would not work. It would simply flash a blue screen and re-start. After running a test it determined that the hard drive failed. A new laptop is not an option at this point.
I bought a new hard drive and I ordered the recovery disk set from HP. What are the proper steps to completing this replacement?
The computer is OUT of warranty and so is the hard drive. The computer has Windows Vista on it. The failed hard drive was 160 gb, 2.5", SATA 1.5 gb/s, 8mb cache. The new one is the same except that it is SATA 3 gb/s.
This is my first time replacing a hard drive. I am confident about it but I just want to make sure I do it correctly.

Hi,
All you should need to do after replacing the HDD is the following.
Start the notebook and open the CD/DVD drive. Insert the first Recovery Disc. Hold down the power button until the notebook shuts down. Press the power button to start the notebook which should now boot from the Recovery Disc and start the recovery process.

Mac mini ppc cd/dvd drive problems plz help

i wanted to back up all my files onto my dvd+rw disks and when i put the files in a burn folder and hit burn it asks me all the things: what you want to name it how fast to burn it. then i click burn it says prearing data, ten it starts saying its writing...when it gets to 89.00% it completely freezes my computer and 5 min. later it pops up an error message saying "communication to the disk drive has failed". so after that didnt work i tried other dvd+rw disks and it still gave me the same error so i downloaded a program called simplyburns from apple's download page and it gives me the same "communication to the disk drive has failed" error....can anyone help me.....

I want to add a video card to my computer. I know I am very limited because it only has a 250 P.S. My goal is to use 3 monitors. I am not a gamer, but I trade & watch the stock market for extended periods of time. I also listed to podcasts and steam videos as well. Does have anyone have any suggestions for me? Partitioning My External Hard Drive - need some help

Recently, i have bought an external hard drive, then enclosed it with a casing and connected it through firewire 800 on my iMac 20" 2.0Ghz late 2007 model. what i want is , on my external hard drive, i partitioned it into two, then one partition for my mac, and the other is for windows. wherein windows partition can also be read/write from my mac, and vice versa on my windows;
am looking for a suggestion on how to make the other partition, the windows partition to be read/write from my mac, and can also be read/write on my windows;

Thank you for your reply. i can't seem to do this Disk utility>externalHD>"Erase">MS-DOS(FAT). for MS-DOS(FAT) option seems to be not available on windows partition; is this something in relation that i have formatted my externalHD into mac os extended(journaled) then partitioned it to two?

Compaq Presario V5000 sounds and video on line and at windows start up, also having issue with SM Bu
