Comparativos de SAP contra otros ERP en el portal

Hola que tal;

saludos

  • SAP R/3 ERP 6.0, BI and BO on Sigle Sign On

    Hi Experts,
We have implemented SAP R/3 ERP 6.0, BI and BO with Crystal Reports.
Is it possiable configure Single Sign On for the above servers with sigle point of login.
Using NWBC we can connect single inteerface but is it possiable with SSO.
Our SAP user must be able to access crystal reports from SAP menu, SAP user NEED NOT to enter another user ID and pwd while accessing Crystal report. His one time SAP login should be enough to use SAP programs as well as  crystal reports
Similarly, if a user is defined in SAP BI,  he will be using same user ID , Pwd to access BO-Web-I reports
    Please suggest me on this.
    Regards,
    Sandeep K

    Hi Sandeep,
You can import SAP roles and users in to BOE and then enable single sign. There are different options available to achieve this. Please refer to below links. That will give you some idea.

  • SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP & SAP Business Warehouse 7.4 SP8 on SAP HANA with ERP-System

    Hello,
I have a running Instance of SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP & SAP Business Warehouse 7.4 SP8 on SAP HANA 1.0 SP8.
Here I have the minisap Licence of A4H.
When I get the Licence of ERP - do I have a fully ERP System on HANA ?
Or do I need a new Instance?

    Hi Julia,
even if you or your company have an SAP license for ERP, you are legally not allowed to install the license key into the free offering it because you have accepted the terms and conditions of the trial/developer version.
If you want to use your own licenses, you would need to switch to the BYOL model where you bring in the license. For that you would need to purchase the SAP Cloud Appliance Library subscription. You get more details here (CAL FAQ - Business related questions ). To purchase the SAP Cloud Appliance Library subscription you would need to select the "Unlock full library" link on the top right corner of the Subscriptions screen on http://cal.sap.com.

  • Difference between SAP R/3,SAP NETWEAVER, MYSAP ERP,SAP ECC

    HI,
I was really confused about the key difference between
SAP R/3,SAP NETWEAVER, MYSAP ERP,SAP ECC.
Could anyone tell me how do they differ from one another.
    Regards,
    sasi_s

    Hi Sasi,
mySAP ERP includes function available in SAP R/3 Enterprise and additional functionalities and entire functional areas: Analytics, Strategic Enterprise Management (SEM), Financial Supply Chain Management, etc.
mySAP ERP also contains the complete SAP NetWeaver platform; SAP R/3 Enterprise includes a subset of SAP NetWeaver, the SAP Web Application Server

  • Benefits of SAP Web AS ERP Connector? vs/ native SSO integration capability

What are the benefits of using SAP Web AS ERP connector vs. SAP's own utilization of their native SSO integration capability of the SAP WebAS environment?
Please help me understand how the ERP connector adds value if we were to instead use a web agent on a supported platform as a proxy to the SAP Web AS, with the Session Linker, and use the above noted out of the box integration capability?

    Hi,
Don't worry : these test results are meaningless. You should test a real BSP application and see if it works.

  • Accessing BW/ERP/CRM from portal

Does any one have step by step guides for accessing BW/ERP/CRM from portal?
I would apprciate if you guys can share issues faced and resolutions for accessing them through portal.
    Thanks,
    Anika

    hi
BW/ERP/CRM access from portal is governed by a single concept of single sign on  where actually you integrate them through logon ticket otherwise you can use application integrator component for user mapping
There is step by step guide of BW 3.5 integration with portal  in sdn as well
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/a3/7b583c2439e66fe10000000a114084/frameset.htm.
on similar grounds you will have CRM too
Portal and R3/CRM/BW in different windows domains
    please do not forget points

  • SAP CRM 7.0 and Enterprise Portal

    Dear SAP Gurus ,
I have question about the New CRM WEB UI and integration to SAP Enterprise Portal .
We have been using the SAP Enterprise portal for accesing the SAP CRM functionalities before (eg create Opporutnites and Sales Order ). But with the New SAP version(7.0 and 2007 ) its possible to  have its own portal.
Now the question is it possible to integrate the NEW SAP WEB UI into the existing portal ? Eg: If we want to have link in Enterprise portal with the Sales Order create functionalyt direlty without going into the stand alone  CRM WEB UI  . Would it be possible to directly call the Sales order service WEB UI in enterprise portal . Right now what we see is that the NEW CRM WEB UI is stand alone and for these type of fuctionalites the user need to login to the NEW web ui and then go to the create sales order screen .
Is it possible to directly embed the new UI components in the existing SAP enterprise portal ?
Many Thank for your kind advise !
    Best Regards,
    Ankur

    Ankur,
Once you have correctly integrated to Portal following the SAP Note, you will no longer see the CRM Navigation. They will be Portal Navigation. If you have read and understood the note, it will be clear. On an overview, let me explain the steps involved.
    1. You create a CRM role (based on some job role) say "Sales Rep" and have configured the CRM Web UI for all the navigation and applications. Like Account maintenance, Opportunities, Sales order create etc. etc.
    2. Following the note and running a CRM transaction, you will now "Export" this CRM role to an external file. This file is very similar to a "business package". All the portal roles, pages, iVeiws etc. get created.
    3. You will now "Import" this into your portal. Again follow the notes to know the loaction.
    4. In the portal, you will assign this "portal role" to your users.
When these users log on to portal, they will see Portal Navigation (not the CRM navigation). So, the main point lies in defining the CRM role and get it working.
    Hope you get the point....

  • Sap E-recruiting ERP 6.0 EHP4 SP4

    Hi Experts,
I am new to portal , Recently I deployed Business package  E-recruiting  ERP 6.0 EHP4 SP4 through SDM, it is seen in portal also and i assigned roles to some users, when users access the application i.e clicks on any iview it gives portal runtime error, i think i have to connect that to back end. How can i connect E-recruiting  ERP 6.0 EHP4 SP4  to back end server? Is there any RFC's i have to configure? or Whether i have to create any JCO destinations for that like ESS / MSS package? If so what are those JCO destinations? provide some docs and any useful URL's for that.
    Provide any URL's or docs regarding pre-deployment and post-deployment guide for E-recruiting  ERP 6.0 EHP4 SP4.

    Hi,
business package configuration information is available on SAP Help and on service market place:
    http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_04/helpdata/en/b0/8af9114b224e4a9fab63ee633ffe1d/frameset.htm

From the portal side, you'll have to create a portal system that points to your SAP backend, assign alias, check if the BP is using ITS, WDA or WDJ and configure the systems.

  • Financial newby: Combining SAP SRM and ERP Financial Accounting

    Hello,
Looking for an Invoice Management System expert. I would like to know the following two things.
    1. On posting an 'incomming invoice' (with reference to a PO) in SRM this Invoice will be replicated to the R/3 back-end system. The back-end will and should use this invoice to follow-up the financial administrative process, how do they go about on this. The purchase order and Invoice will be posted to f.e. G/L 'Sources, with tax 19%'. What transaction do financial administrators use to book/post bank/liquid asset changes against these invoices?
    2. Up on creating a credit memo, for example for 1 of the 2 line items that wern't delivered but where initially invoiced, do we need to create a Credit Memo in SRM with negative amounts or does the Credit Memo with positive amounts suffice. It will always be used as credit, positive doesn't mean it's debit? (I think credit memo's in SRM work almost the same as Credit Memo's in R/3)
    Kind regards,
    Tim

    Dear all,
I answer my request, as nobody is talking about this subject.
    I passed the CO certification
SAP Certified Application Associate - Management Accounting (CO) with SAP ERP 6.0 EhP6
and succeed without having SAP training, i've 4 years of SAP FICO experiences and 1 year of auditing, accounting experience.
All i've to say is to read and study many times  SAP documentation but be carreful as CO change with planning in the new ledgers and CO report, take the most updated training documentation.
My advice is to work hardly every day, even with the help of SAP training , you've to work hard, the training is just making it easy for you.
    Good luck.

  • Error in Odata API access for SAP EC to ERP Replication

    Hi Experts,
While we are working with the standard Employee replication (configured as in SF ERP Handbook as provided by SAP) interface from SF EC to SAP ECC  we are facing the following error. This is happening because the standard integration is trying to look for an entity 'EmployeeDataReplicationElement' in the query which it is not able to find in the exposed entity list over Odata API from Employee central instance of the client
While running this query against the salesdemo instance of SF it runs successfully and this entity is available for the integration.
We have tried assigning all possible roles to the user so that this does not arise because of access issues - however it still results in the same error.
The technical error returned from SF is as below :
[EXCEPTION] ODATA Execution Error Code: 500-COE_HRIS_ELEMENT_NOT_SUPPORTED Internal Server Error-entity name: EmployeeDataReplicationElement is not supported in oData API. https://api.successfactors.eu/odata/v2/EmployeeDataReplicationElement?$format=json&$select=scheduledReplicationTime,personId,replicationUpdateStatus,replicationContentType,externalCode,replicationTargetSystemNav,allowReplicationInCorrectionPhase,replicationProcessingTime&$expand=replicationTargetSystemNav&$filter=%28replicationContentType%20eq%20'EMPLOYEE_MASTER_DATA'%20and%20replicationTargetSystemNav/externalCode%20eq%20''%20and%20scheduledReplicationTime%20le%20'2014-06-11T12:47:20.154Z'%20and%20allowReplicationInCorrectionPhase%20eq%20'true'%29&$top=200
Could you please advise on what additional configuration is needed in SF EC end so that the entity is available in the Odata API.
    Thanks and Regards
    Subhro

    Hi Subhro,
Do you have the OData API enabled in Provisioning and also permissioned in your integration user's permission role?
    Best regards,
    Luke

  • Error: SAP installation of ERP Sr3 with ORACLE 10g on Windows 2008 server

    Dear all,
while installaing SAP ERP SR3 with ORACLE 10g on windows 2008 server...
we are getting error as not support.
please confirm wether this version of OS is uspported or not.
    thanking you in all,
    by
    Animesh

actualy we tried to change Oraparam.ini file in the installation folder...
    edited ...  windows= 5.0, 5.1, 6.0
    we had entered 6.0
    Yes - that is necessary.
and started ... but after starting we are getting ERROR like unKNOWN and installation popup (OUI popup) exiting with .. error popup.
Yes - because Oracle delivers its own Java version - which is too old to run on Windows 2008.
if you suggest us to use 2003 64 bit for temporaray .... purpose.
and is there any specified procedure to UPgrade OS.
like... DB should be updated before OS upgradation.
You can run 10.2.0.4 on Windows 2003 x64 nicely and upgrade to Windows 2008. Since there is no "upgrade" (it is the highest version supported) there´s no need to do anything.
The question you have to ask is:
Why do you need Windows 2008? Is there any technical implication?
