Comparing and Asjusting data b/w two systems using SCU0 Transaction

I need to compare and adjust data between two systems for tables T006 , T006A . I am using Transaction SCU0 for comparison . It is giving me comparison results , but coz of some reason Button for adjusting data is not active for me .
If I do the same thing using SM30 , Adjust button is coming after comparison . I don't have maintinance views available for these tables otherwise i would have used SM30 . I want to do that using SCU0 only . Any idea how can I make Adjust button active .

They are DVDs with video files from a little more than 2 GB per file, were burned in Snow Leopard, with UDF file system, now that I updated to Mavericks when I try to read disks displays the directory in the finder a moment and then disappear and does not display them show them more. It is impossible to read the discs, but only those who were burned with UDF file system. Thank you for your help.

I would appreciate it as kind of respect for forum participants if you would clean up your VI before uploading it (or images of its block diagram)…
That being said:
- Your inner while loops each run exactly twice. Replace them with FOR loops!
- Lots of unneeded operations, mainly induced by ExpressVI usage. Is there a reason to convert to DDT and immediately convert back to 1D array?
- You already calculate some Min/Max values. Ratio is just a division of two values…

You should post this into the LabVIEW forum rather than Real-Time since this isn't a Real-Time application. Your post will see more replies in the LabVIEW forum.
As far as your question is concerned, you can write the max and min from the respective loops to a local variable to send the data out of the loops to a third loop or just do the calculation in one of the loops. This would be ideal if you're trying to do this while the loop is running.

while uploading data into the r/3 using call transaction or session method error occured in the middle of the processing then how these methods behaves it transfers next records or not?

Session method: The records are not added to the database until the session is processed. sy-subrc is not returned. Error logs are created for error records. Updation in database table is always Synchronous.
Call Transaction method: The records are immediately added to the database table. sy-subrc is returned to 0 if successful. Error logs are not created and hence the errors need to be handled explicitly. Updation in database table is either Synchronous or Asynchronous.
While to transfer the data from the through if any errors occurs until the errors are the complete the data is not transfer to the SAP system.
the system compulsory shows the errors. that errors are stored into the error logs (Transaction is SM35).
so the session method should not return any value.
In call transaction method data is directly pass to the SAP system.
So its compulsory return the value.
Because of the call transaction is the function.
A function should return the value mandatory
In session method errors stroed in SYSTEM GENRATED ERROR LOG.
IN CALL TRANSACTION TO CAPTURE THE ERRORS WE SHOULD PERFORM THE FOLLOWING.
FIRST ME MUST DECLARE AN INTERNAL TABLE WITH THE STRUCTURE OF BDCMSGCOLL TABLE.
THEN WHILE WRITING THE CALL TRANSACTION STATEMENT WE SHOULD PUT THE 'E' MODE FOR CAPTURING ALL THE ERRORS.
THEN FINALLY THE CAPTURED ERRORS MUST TO SENT TO THE INTERNAL TABLE WHICH WE DECLARED IN THE BEGINNING WITH BDCMSGCOLL BY USING THE FUNCTION MODULE "FORMAT_MESSAGE"
AND THUS THE ERROR MESSAGES WILL BE SENT TO THE INTERNAL TABLE WHICH WE DECLARED AT THE BEGINNING.

How does IDOC data transfer happensbetween two system?

If there are data in system A and I need to transfer to system B using IDoc.
What are the key things which will enable data transfer from system A to system.
It would be great if someone can explain how does IDOC data gets transferred from system A to sytemB.

let me write down what i have understood ..plz correct me if i have not followed properly..
1) Once IDocs successfully reach R3 , a function module specific to the Idoc type is called "<b>automatically</b>" and updates database...
2) this function module we specify in the process code while creating partner profiles
basically all we need to do is to specify correct function module, right?
the rest of the process ie . updation in the tables(database) is done automatically..
Once database is updated, where can i see the added/updated records in database?
also how do we find this function module?
I am using MATMAS05...

Transfer class and characteristics data from 3.1i system to ECC 6.0 system

I have to develop a program to transfer all the classes and characteristics( tcode cl01 and ct04) in a 3.1i system to an ECC 6.0 system.
I initially planned to use FMs BAPI_CLASS_GETDETAIL to read from 3.1i and BAPI_CLASS_CREATE to load in ECC 6.0.
But then I realized that BAPI_CLASS_GETDETAIL does not exist in 3.1i system.
Could anyone please tell me how to transfer the class and characteristics data from 3.1i to ECC 6.0. What approach and FMs are to be used.

We are trying the ALE way, using BD91 and BD92. This way seems to be easier as there is no need to extract data to files.
IDoc is successfuly sent from the 3.1i system but we are not able to see it in ECC 6.0 system.
We are checking up the settings.
Would be very useful if you can provide some more details about the settings to be done.

Creation and Modification dates for android file system

Hello all, I am working on a project and i noticed a particular scenario where i'm getting an error everytime i try to run the code below on my android device;

Every time i run this on Adobe AIR's Mobile emulator, the correct dates are show up properly(Possibly because the emulator is running on Windows) but when i switch the debug to the device, the statement in the catch block executes. The real error says "Error #3003: File or directory does not exist."
Am i missing something or is this a normal behaviour which i have to find a work around for? The modificationDate and the creationDate are all properties of the FileReference class which i didnt use to instanciate the file object because i wasnt uploading or downloading anything.
Any form of tip will be much appreciated.

I run into the same problem while working on some sort of file synching task.
Trying to read the file.modificationDate or creationDate results in an error: "Error #3003: File or directory does not exist."
I have obeserved that this only happens for files that were packaged with the app (and placed in the File.applicationDirectory).
Files that my app has downloaded and saved to the device (File.applicationStorageDirectory) do have a valid creation date and modification date.
Maybe the File.applicationDirectory has different rights?
Does anybody have a solution or workaround for this?

Sending order data to an external system using scp sftp (osm 631.221)

Hello There,
I need to come up with a means of sending some order data to an external system via SCP or SFTP.
I was looking at an automated task that would fire off some Java to package the data, create the file and send it.
I then have to write another automated task that will block the order and check the file system for a return file and then update the order with the data from the file.
Does any one have ideas on the best / recommended approach to achieve this ?
I am obliged :-( to send and receive the file via SCP/SFTP.
any help would be appreciated.

Hi Jim;
Using a custom Java automation plugin is the right place to start to tackle the problem. There are several Java libraries that you could consider. Apache Commons VFS (http://commons.apache.org/vfs/index.html) supports both SCP and SFTP and insulates you from having to deal with the specifics of either so you may want to start there.
As for the problem of getting a response, given that there is no notification type capability with those type of file systems, you will have no choice but to poll to check if the file exists. Not pretty, but so long as you are not dealing with very high volumes it should work ok. You can model the polling as a subprocess consisting of two tasks. Task A is implemented by a custom automation plugin using VFS or similar to go and check if the file exists, and if it does download it. If the file exists and is downloaded successfully then the task completes with a success status. If the file does not exist then it completes with a retry status. The retry status is mapped to a delay rule task - and the delay rule task simply waits for some interval (e.g. 1 minute) after which it completes and loops back to Task A.

Inserting and retrieving data from a al32UTF8 database USING SQL Developer

Before i post my questions , i think its better for me to provide you guys with my understandings first so that it easier to understand where/if i have gone wrong..
I am using Window XP and Oracle 10g
Non-unicode client - a client program that need to use the OS code page for mapping of the retrieved unicode data from the database as well as the support of displaying/inserting the characters from that code page to the database.
E.G sqlplusw.exe
Therefore, when using a non-unicode client
1) we have to set the OS code page (Control panel - regional and language setting - advance - language for non unicode program ) to the code page that contain the characters we are going to display/insert.
2) we will also have to set the NLS_LANG characterset to the character set of the code page we are going to insert so that when we do a insert (for e.g in thai ) , oracle will know, and auto conversion to UNICODE can take place. This is also true when we retrieve unicode data from the database so that conversion to the correct character set can take place.
INSERTING
THAI ---> conversion ----> UNICODE
RETRIEVING
THAI <---- conversion <---- UNICODE
I hope my basic understanding is correct up till this point.
Unicode client - a client program that supports the displaying/inserting of unicode characters without the need of setting the OS code page (Control panel - regional and language setting - advance - language for non unicode program )
E.G isqlplus http or SQL developer
However,
1) There is still a need to set the NLS_LANG so that correct conversion can take place between the client and the database.
For e.g, when retrieving if we set the NLS_LANG character set to ZHS16GBK (chinese) and the data store in unicode in database is E.G (THAI) , then the conversion would be wrong .
Since it is a unicode supported client, then the NLS_LANG character set should be set to UNICODE as well.
Here come my questions

The requirement to always set NLS_LANG is not true for JDBC, which ignores NLS_LANG altogether. Java programs fetch text data into String variables, which use Unicode UTF-16 by design. JDBC sets character set conversion so that data is converted between UTF-16 and the database or national character set.
The requirement to set NLS_LANG is not generally true for OCI, either. The first call in an OCI problem can be OCIEnvNlsCreate(). This call has two parameters that allow the caller to define the character set to use for VARCHAR2/CHAR/LONG/CLOB/statement text and the character set to use for NVARCHAR2/NCHAR/NCLOB. Only if these character sets are specified as 0, NLS_LANG character set is used. Also, OCI programs can specify different character sets for each bind or define variable (i.e. input/output buffer). Note: OCI programs always use NLS_LANG to initialize the language and territory settings for the client program and the database session. Only the character set can be specified is OCIEnvNlsCreate().
OCIEnvNlsCreate() can specify the client character set as UTF-16 (in platform endianess). This is not possible with NLS_LANG.
Various interfaces building on OCI, such as Oracle ODBC and ODP .NET, explicitly initialize OCI with Unicode character set, and thus ignore the NLS_LANG character set as well.

I am using 89c52 for data acquisition and control for photo diode array. I would like to do the same using RS-232 and micro-controller 89c52. I would like to generate two different control pulses (clock and trigger) and I am digitizing my analog data using on-board ADC, the data for which I would like to read using Labview and store it in a file also display the waveform of acquired data. Please reply.

Nice project, we do that all day long here. What is your problem exactly?
The 89C52 has a UART you can use to write commands and read data. It is fairly straightforward to write a command processor for the uC and implement a command set. Is it the computer or the uC that generates the control pulses?

How to find first and last date of a fiscal week using SQL

Hello,
I want information about FISCAL Week, means a Week based on ISO standard. I know format strings ‘IW’ or ‘IYYY’ gives fiscal week and fiscal year respectively from a given date. But I want to find the first and last date of a fiscal week. Say suppose I have a fiscal week is 2, and fiscal year is 2008, how to find the start and end date of the given fiscal week.
Any kind of help would be greatly appreciable.

Developer Tool Forms retreiving data from a Mainframe system using MQSeries

I had a TAR posted to the Forms Group asking questions about data access using MQSeries and Oracle. That group suggested I ask my question to this group.
What I need to accomplish is the ability for a user to type in a Medicaid DCN number on a secure website which is produced using Forms and Reports 9i, have it send the request to a CICS sub-routine, and return data such as Name, DOB, address, in a string to be separated, displayed on the screen, and eventually saved to a Oracle database. The group had given me three things to think about:
1) Using Oracle Procedural Gateway to monitor for messages coming from MQSeries. Problem is that is requires additional licenses which we do not have.
2) Using Oracle Messaging Gateway to monitor for messages. It doesn't require additional licenses but does require an Enterprise Edition license and we are running Standard Edition.
3) Using Forms in conjunction with JAVA to accomplish the communication between the Web Form, MQSeries, and the Mainframe. I really don't know JAVA but I am wondering if I really need to know it. I am thinking I can make sure that the parameters that the CICS program is expecting is there then somehow call the sub-routine. There must then be data or information returned to me in a string to be brought into Forms to be separated and put to the screens to be saved eventually.
Question: How do we call a routine such as a CICS subroutine or a Webservice from Forms? Can I do so without products such as Oracle Messaging and Oracle Procedural Gateways to monitor for responses coming back from MQSeries?

I remember having this same problem a while back - except I
always got a 0 record count. I could get to the table, but not
access the data inside at all. I tried to find the post I had on
this forum but can't. Anyway... the problem is with Advantage 7.1
working with MX. Advantage released a hotfix in the form of a .dll
file (email me if you need it I'm sure I can find it on my
machine). However it was just a bandaid type fix because the
problem was addressed and corrected in the newer versions of
Advantage that were later released. If you upgrade Advantage your
problem should go away. The newest release is 8.1

Last changed date different between two systems after transport

Hi, first of all, I am not from basis background and just want to make sure whether is this something correct or not.
I found that the "Last changed date" and "username" are not same between the original system and the target system. Is this something configurable?
And the "username" field is totally empty. However, the program code's version is identical in both systems.

I think I misunderstood your question. You are referring to the system Transports not the connections between systems. If the Transports are not transferring all the contents, you really should talk to your basis folks and tell them which items are not being reproduced correctly.

Modify control record and send out to external (TAMA) system using ALE

Hi All,
I have a scenario to send idoc from ECC 5.0 to 3.1R/3 and then to TAMA system (external system-through TRFC)
In the inbound process code of 3.1R/3, I have to write a custom FM to modify the control record and point to TAMA system and then send it out to TAMA system.
Has anybody got idea about this and what function module need to use for modifying the control record and send it out. Any help is really appreciated

Hi Ricky,
To access IDoc data and modify it in your custom FM, you could investigate the following FM's:
EDI_DOCUMENT_OPEN_FOR_PROCESS
EDI_SEGMENTS_GET_ALL
They should allow you to access the EDIDD, EDIDC tables.
The IDoc related functions are contained in the function group EDI1, it may be helpful to start from there.
