Comparion Index for SPL and Partner - Message log full

Hi Guys
Was recently going through the forums and found a lot on this error 'Message number 999999 reached. Log is full'
But i was not able to found one on the Comparsion terms, i am trying to create the Index for SPL and Business Partners and it stops midway because of this.
Can you advise on the below.
1) Can this number be extended?
2) Anyway to delete logs - then what is the Object and Subobject
3) How do you guys build the Comparison index, since this must be a common error
Would be very appreciative if the experts can provide an pointers on this.

Dear Carl,
There are a number of options that can solve this issue.
1.) Obsolete applogs can be deleted using TA SLG2. Please
    try this possibility.
2.) Setup of control profiles
    Check the definition of control profiles. In field Log Backup you
    have two choices:
    - Save current log and delete old log
    - Save current log and retain old log
    to avoid an overflow I recommend to use the or option.
    Path: SAP GTS Customizing   > General settings   > Define control
    profile for logging
3.) It is not advisable to run search term generation for a high number of
    BP's at one go. Please restrict the selection further.
    This is true both for search terms generation and B1,C1 scenario.
    The ideal number of BP is 30-40K. Please create
    multiple jobs and run these jobs serially. This will not only
    prevent memory problems, but also improve overall performance.

My iPhone just stopped giving me audible notifications for email and text messages. It still rings for calls. I have checked the settings for "Sounds" and they have not changed. However, in these settings when I try to change the sound I get only the vibration and not the sample sound. Can anyone help?

Hello,
I was wondering if it was possible to play different sounds for emails and instant messages. I am using Thunderbird quite often with both emails and instant messages imported from Gtalk.
I think it would be very convenient to be able to distinguish both sounds as they do not imply the same things.

You have encounter Activation Lock, the antitheft feature of the iPhone. The previous owner did not remove the phone from their account. The phone cannot be used until they do. Return to the store and let them sort this out. It is very unusual for someone to "forget" to disable activation lock, as it is necessary to do so to erase personal information on the phone. So it is quite likely you bought a stolen phone.

Open System Preferences > Sound > Sound Effects
Select: Play user interface sound effects
And make sure the Mute box is not selected.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

When will the bluetooth support audio alerts for email and text messages? It works when I get a phone call, but I'd like it to work when getting a text message (I do this a lot in noisier areas and would rather not have to look at the phone every few minutes)
Or is there a configuration option I'm missing?

Samsung Stratosphere set own ringtone for txt and pic messaging??

I have been able to set my own ringtones for Email alerts but can't figure out how to set my own ringtones for txt msgs other than the ones already on the phone.
for email alerts I went to My Files app and found the music i wanted that i put in folder saved ringtones.. The I hit the menu button on bottom left of phone and selected Set as. And chose Phone ringtone.
Just can't find similar path to set for Txt and Pic messaging.

System Preferences/Spotlight/Privacy - try adding your hard drive there to see if it will stop. If it does, remove the hard drive and see if it will re-index normally.

Check website for changes and send message

I maintain several websites for others and would like to use a script to check to see if any of the files have changed in the last day. In other words, go to http://www.mysite.com and if the date modified property of the index.html file is equal to today, then send an email to me. I'm familiar with AppleScript enough to send the email message but am kinda stuck on how to accomplish the checking the date modified aspect of the files on the remote Unix server.
Is this a job that AutomatorAppleScript should handle? Or would something else be more effective? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd probably look to use RSS, if you're maintaining the web sites. That's what an RSS feed is set up to do.

AppleScript is an excellent choice for scripting OS X GUI applications. But if you're not doing that, then a bash script, or Python, php, or some other scripting tool or scripting language would probably be my choice; those are better suited to your particular task. As for some of these other tools, Python has a pycurl library, php has a curl library, and bash can call the curl utility. These are all web-centered languages, so poking around via HTTP is standard fare. And each has other approaches available. I'd expect there's a scraping library or three around, too. This is hardly a new or unusual requirement. There's the Python scrapy tool, for instance.

GTS activated @FI for SPL and Embargo- need resrtictions

Hi All,
We have activated SAP GTS for FI in R/3 system for SPL screening and Embargo check purposes, but there is no restriction for specific company codes.
Right now we are using GTS for Europe alone, so we need FI activation only for Europe company codes. But it is impacting all other company codes, the impact is getting error message while processing payment transctions due to GTS activation.
How do we restrict specific company codes for SPL screening and Embargo check in FI module, is there some config or we need any some user exists.
Please provide your valuable inputs which will help us.

Thanka for your reply. It is applicable for both master data and transactional data transfer. Already we have master data transfer filter user exit in place. Now we need to develop similar for transactional data.
I have one more question, is SPL and Embargo screening happens for all FI transactions or for few transactions like F110, F111 and FBZ4, please confirm the same?
I think we need to follow same method for Logistics also.
