Comparison between E70 and N91

I've been waiting for the E70 for a while now, and it looks like it's going to be available very soon now and I'll be asking my manager if I can upgrade my 6680 to one.
The reason I wanted one was for the VOIP connectivity and WLAN... Are there any feature differences between the E70 and the N91 which I've recently been recommended? A few things I would really like to know are:
1. Do the two phones do VOIP the same? since the E70 is a business phone I was presuming that would be more geared towards that.
2. Are there any other reasons why I would want an E70 over an N91? They both have WLAN, both have S60 3.0, The only difference I can see is the N91 has a 4GB harddrive and the E70 has the flip-out screen.
Any recommendations one way or the other would be fantastic

I know there's differences, and they're each geared towards different things, gut they're practically the same from a specs point of view... It would be more like comparing an Audi A4 and a VW Passat, both practically the same engine, same interior and same extras, just packaged and marketed differently:
Both are S60 3.0
Both have WLAN
Both have the SIP stack
Both can do music, even though the N91 is better at it
Both can do VOIP, even though the E70 is probably better at it
Both can do email
What I'm trying to find out is... Without having one of each to look at side-by-side, what are the features that one really out-performs the other on? You mentioned the music player is different, how different?
I would quite like to use the music player and the 4GB harddrive, but since work would be paying for it I would like to make sure it could do everything the E70 could do without any big drawbacks (eg. If the N91 didn't actually have a VOIP client and the E70 did, that would be bad enough for me not to get it)

  • Comparison between Purisma and JCAPS?

I am researching several CDI (Customer Data Integration) solutions and I've narrowed this down to two solutions Purisma and JCAPS. I am mainly comparing the matching engines, record linkage efficiency and any machine learning capabilities.
Has anyone done a "head-to-head" comparison between JCAPS and Purisma?
Does anyone have any screenshots of the JCAPS record linkage tool for manual duplicate handling?

  • Comparison between Forms6i and Forms9i

We have some client/server-based applications built in Forms6i and are considering to convert/rebuild them into Forms9i or JDeveloper as web-based applications. Has anyone done any comparison between Forms6i and Forms9i/JDeveloper? Or, can you point me to such documentation if existed?
    Thanks.

For comparison between forms 6i and Oracle9i Forms check out the new features paper on:

Comparison to JDeveloper? How about the fact that you develop with Java language in JDeveloper and with PL/SQL in Forms.
I would suggest that first you try to run your application on the Web using forms 6i. This should be a very simple test to do. See how you like it and only then ask yourself if you really need to go to JDeveloper.

  • Comparison between 3750 and 3750-metro

    hi folks,
is there any links which will provide me on the comparison between 3750 and 3750-metro? for exapmple, isis is not support on 3750 but it support on 3750-metro. The product information from cisco site is insufficient in term of the main differences :p

    josh.w

    Hi Josh,
The Cisco Catalyst 3750 Metro Series is built for Metro Ethernet access in a customer location, enabling the delivery of more differentiated Metro Ethernet services. These switches feature bidirectional hierarchical QoS and Traffic Shaping, intelligent 802.1Q tunneling with class-of-service (CoS) mutation, VLAN translation, MPLS, EoMPLS, and Hierarchical Virtual Private LAN Service (H-VPLS) support, and redundant AC or DC power. They are ideal for service providers seeking to deliver profitable business services, such as Layer 2, Layer 3, and MPLS VPNs, in a variety of bandwidths and with different SLAs.
The metro switches have the PXF chips (which allow hierarchical QoS on the 2 "WAN" GigE ports, so several logical links can share a connection, and have soft bandwidth limits).
For more details on 3750-M switches have a look at this link

  • Comparison between PeopleSoft and Fusion

    Hi ,
I need to prepare a document to show up the comparison between PeopleSoft and Fusion. For eg: Business Unit in PeopleSoft and what is the concept in Fusion that is similar to Business Unit. Can anyone help me with a document that will give me detailed comparison between PeopleSoft and Fusion.
    Thanks,
    Fathima Farsatha

I can't find any comparison on the internal database.  Can you add more about your goals with the question?  Are you stuck with a Business unit issue or functionality.  Since Fusion was built form the ground up it is a completely different software product.  If you have a very specific question then we might be able to collaborate with different groups and provide an answer or fix.

  • Comparison between cFP and cDAQ

    Hi,
I'm looking for (as much details as possible) a comparisons between compact Fieldpoint and compact DAQ hardware.  I'm trying to decide which hardware platforms to use.
    TIA

Compact Fieldpoint is for installed, industrial type applications.  It has a realtime operating system.  The controller runs code to read inputs and operate outputs.  The application can be distributed on an ethernet network.  There are different modules available for different types of inputs and ouputs.
Compact DAQ also has numerous input and output modules.  It is more intended for portable applications.  It connects to your PC through a USB port.  So the code would need to run on the PC

  • Comparisons between WLI and SeeBeyond e*Gate Integrator?

Does anyone have any point of view about similarities and differences between
WLI and SeeBeyond e*Gate Integrator? I have some familiarity with e*Gate, and
I'm just starting to learn about WLI (although I'm pretty familiar with J2EE
    and WebLogic Server).
It appears to me that WLI assumes that data collaborations between systems will
go from binary to XML, then perhaps to transformed XML, and then to binary.
I'm perfectly happy with using XML, but I wonder if it would be practical in
some cases to skip the XML representation and translate directly from one
binary representation to another. From what little I know of e*Gate, the most
straightforward transformations are just binary to binary, although XML
    transformations are available.

  • Comparisons between X61s and X201s - and X201 and X201s

I have been very happy with my x61s since prchasing it in Jan 2008. However, I need to migrate to a new notebook, want to have a similar experience with the new machine and am therefore considering the X201 series. • Comparison between ARIS and RBE Plus

    Hi,
Can anyone provide or can point me to some comparative study between the ARIS and RBE Plus with respect to their features and capability of business process re-engineering and integration with SAP Solution Manager.
    Regards
    Nilay

I absolutely agree that RBE Plus and ARIS are complimentary solutions.
Don’t mix up RBE (or RBE 2.0, SAP RBE) and RBE Plus. RBE doesn't really support 4.7 systems and higher and has no integration with SAP Solution Manager. RBE Plus supports SAP R/3 3.1i and higher and several other SAP systems like BW, SEM and CRM. RBE Plus uses the SAP standard interface to populate the reference model (BPR) from SAP within the SAP Solution Manager. RBE Plus doesn’t look only on the transaction usage for the evaluation of the Business Process Repository but even more important analyzes if and how the SAP tables are actually used. If a customer doesn’t use the SAP standard transaction VA01 for creating his sales orders but uses ZA01 instead the analysis of the sales documents still will activate the sales order process.

  • Comparison between ODI and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)

    Hi,
As per my knowledge Oracle has provided two infrastructures, namely ODI and ESB for migrating data across applications.
My query is where I should use ESB and where ODI. Is there any comparison document available? I heard that for bulk data movement ODI is suggested by Oracle. Is there any benchmark exists for comparing these two tools?
I also want to map these tools with Oracle E-Business suite's conversion process. Is it possible to map each stage of a traditional Conversion Process (Data Loading, Validating, Importing to Oracle EBusiness Suite) using these tools?
Any kind of help/idea will be very much appreciated.
    Regards.
    Tapas

I also think that same way. I do not know what is so apecial about BEA Aqualogic ESB and other market matured ESB products such as TIBCO & SONIC. The samples which BEA has given in their evaluation guide are very simplistic. BEA should do more to provide extensive knowledge/features about their Aqualogic line of products.

  • Performance comparison between "if" and precondition

    Hi,
I was wondering was is the performance of precondtions compare to if-end statements. In other words, is it faster:
    if (A)
       B
    else if (C)
       D
    end
    or:
    B with Precondtion A
    D with Precondtion C
    Regards,
    Alexandre

    1. I'm not saying that the number of executions shouldn't exceed the number of cores. Executions typically block waiting for disk, instrument I/O, shared resources, etc. In this case, it is good to have another thread available to use the otherwise idle core. However, if you generate a test case of multiple threads doing nothing but continuous computations (teststand or not), you will see not see a speed up after you run out of cores. In fact, the context switching involved in sharing the few cores among the many threads will start to decrease overall throughput.
    2. I wasn't specifically saying anything about Preconditions or If's. To execute each step, TestStand accesses data about the step's properties and about the module to call. This data is protected by thread locks, which is the reason you can set property and variables from any TestStand thread and not worry about corrupting the state of the individual values. However, providing this protection means that when multiple threads try to access the same data or locks, one thread must briefly wait for the other, even if they are on different cores. Accessing this data doesn't take a long time in absolute terms, but if the step module itself is doing nearly nothing, then this overhead will dominate your measurements and the period of time that the cores can execute independently will be at its minimum.
While the points above will be true regardless, we are investigating the performance results that I believe you reported to our PSE.
