Compass App: Where is it?

Compass was one of the most useful apps on my 9860. BlackBerry native Compass is not available on Z3, neither can I download from BlackBerry World. Is it because of hardware requirements? Is there any working Compass app for Z3? Those in BlackBerry World are no good. Anyone?

Check all of your home pages and folders. You cannot delete the native iOS apps. If you cannot find it looking, check search and see if you can locate it. If it shows up in search, it should also show what folder it is in. If you still cannot find it that way, then try a reset on the phone. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and release. If that doesn't bring it back, last step is to go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout.

Missing Compass app

Good evening.
My problem is quite simple - I can't find the Compass app. I don't really use it, although there's a hike I might be going on later this year where I could use it, but I just don't like the fact that I can't find it.
I was under the impression that these default apps can't dissappear and indeed I have all the other default apps like calendar, stocks etc.
I have just a got a new iPhone because of battery issues with the last one, and I did a restore from that phone. Previous to that I had carried out a full restore on that phone because of the aforementioned battery issues.
Now, i've looked for the app both just looking through the screens and also by doing a manual search. No luck.
Does anyone know what the problem might be here?

I've checked that it's not a 3G by opening maps and switching the direction feature on. It works, and I got the warning about compass interference, so it's certainly a 3GS.
As for the corrupt OS, how do I carry out a fresh restore and still retain my settings?
Is it possible the corruption is located in my backup (from the old phone), from which I restored this new phone today?
If so, I suppose the only solution is to, what, restore this phone as a new phone, sync everything over, and just have to accept that i'll lose all settings, and go about re-setting them all manually?

Compass app abroad.

I will be abroad where I will need a compass. I will have all data services turned off on my iPhone4. Will the compass work with location services off?

The compass app uses the built-in magnetometer, so it doesn't need data to work.
Except... the magnetic compass needs the local declination (difference between Magnetic and True direction) if you also want to know which way True North is.
So the compass app might ask to use location services in an attempt to figure out where on earth you are, to look up the declination. Without data, it could take a while for the GPS to look that up.
You could go check the App Store for other compass apps that allow you to set such parameters on your own. Or just memorize the declination for where you're going.

IOS 7.1 Compass app level issue

Hi,
Ehh.... did iOS 7.1 just break the Compass app level display? I can see that the black & white level bar is pretty much updating as supposed to when rotating/tilting the phone, whereas the degrees don't update properly at all. Likewise the phone pretends to be properly leveled whereas the level bar clearly shows this isn't the case. This issue happends with iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5s - all updated to iOS 7.1.
Is this a known issue or something specific for my THREE mobiles?

I'm not sure what you have done but the compass and level are working fine on my iPhone 5 using iOS 7.1.
Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPhone?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).
No data will be lost.

What do you mean make folders? Like folders inside an application or accessing system folders? You can't do the latter.

If you're running iOS 5.1 or later you could use Photo Stream. See http://www.apple.com/icloud/features/photo-stream.html and http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4486. It will upload up to 1000 photos to iCloud.com for 30 days.

I don't have that problem. Perhaps I touch the screen lower when I wipe down? I don't know for sure but there's got to be some difference in the way that we wipe down. you might wish to do some experimenting.

Is there a Compass App. that will work just like the one in the new 3GS phone?
Ive seen many of them in the App. Store but no good reviews.

The iPhone 3GS has a digital compass, which is hardware not present in the 3G. The "compass app" in the App store uses GPS which requires you to be moving to determine direction. The compass in the GS shows the direction you're facing while stationary.

what you are asking is a 2 edge sword and could be used by ex partners and stalkers alike
there are special parent spyphones which offer what you want and where you can also track your kid using gps and the likes try googling it
