Compatibility issue? (does anyone have QT 6?)

I got a report from a client who still has Quicktime 6 on their G4 that they could not play a video I sent them for approval. It was the 2nd generation of that video, and they had been able to play the 1st generation, on which I had used exactly the same settings. However, the first generation was compressed on Quicktime 7.0 and the 2nd gen. was compressed with QT 7.1.
This problem doesn't appear on any of my machines, but I have some version of QT 7 on all of them. I created a web page to verify/confirm this problem, in case anyone still has a machine with QT 6 installed. The URL is http://www.oakstreetsoftware.com/qttest.html - please forgive me if you have a slow connection. I just used the full length video in my test, so there are 2 9MB files. You don't need to download the entire file, it should start playing before it completes download and if it starts playing, then you are NOT seeing the bug as it was described to me.
This is really important, because I need people with older versions of QT to be able to view many of the videos I create. I was completely blind-sided by this problem, and I'm going to be disappointed if Apple broke backwards compatibility.
Has anyone else seen this?

Glad to read that things are ok now, though you should triple check things like embed/object tags. Just for interest though, when you export from QT7.1 there are options about how the image is framed. To change that in an already saved movie just look at the movie's properties and you should see a button for Presentation (the buttons go from left to right: Annotations Resources Audio Settings Presentation). That's where you set things like automatically play, or enter fullscreen. The last check box in there is Conform aperture to:, and there's a popup menu of choices. That's where your two movies were different to each other.
