Compatibility of Adobe CS Premium (the original version) with Mac OS Mavericks?
I have finally decided to upgrade my old Mac G5 to a new iMac. I have not upgraded my Adobe software since the original CS version. Is there any chance the Adobe Creative Suite Premium will be compatibile on the new iMac with OS 10.9.1?
CS was written for PowerPC only - which can only work on Intel based systems with Rosetta emulation, but Apple discontinued Rosetta.
So no, it is not compatible. To run on MacOS 10.9, you would need an Intel native version of Photoshop.

Yes, if you do a Creative Suite language crossgrade then you should be able to change from one language to another.

why cant i get a straight answer to a very simple question.
if you made a custom installation wherein you opt to have a different installation path, then you may have to delete the previous installed version.
if you made a default installation wherein you opt to have an "upgrade installation", then the original version need not be uninstalled.
having two installation paths will result to two working mozilla firefox browsers but each time you launch a version, an "add-on compatibility check" will always occur.
for best results, always do an "upgrade installation" unless you want to try a new version first by checking it out. -

on syncing photos to my iphone from my mac (snow leopard) (iphoto), just 2 or 3 per event retain the edited verisons, the rest are shown in the original version. I'm confused by this. Is this a bug? Is there a way to see all the photos on the mac-edited version on iphn?

I solved my problem,
Definitely a bug in syncing through itunes.
- Connect Iphone with MacBook Pro through USB
- Go to iphone on itunes, photos, deselect photo synchronization.
- Sync (all pics will be removed from iphone)
- Close itunes, iphoto, disconnect iphone
- Select in finder: (home)-pictures-iphoto library.
- Sec click on iphoto library and choose "show package contents"
- Delete iPod Photo Cache
- Close finder
- Empty trash
- Reconnect iphone
- Allow photo synchronization again and everything works smooth.
After this, changes made in iphoto are instantaneously reflected in iphone photos.
Once every hundred photos, one gets detached from iphoto and then changes are no longer reflected (buggy) :-(
In this case I erase the photo in iphoto, sync, go back to iphoto trash, reestablish the photo from the trash and sync again.
Hope this improves. Still have to try cloud though.

But unfortunately , the desired result not me met .
So I have been asked to keep the original version of the Web report.
As the new version of Web report has replaced the previous one ,
So could anybody tell me how to get the original version of Web report in BW ?

You can use the Transaction STMS choose the option "Import Overview" . In the GOTO tab select "History" and choose "Import History".
Here you can find the history of requests imported to the prod system.

Is it requesting your qualifying serial number? If so then please input the serial number from the product you are upgrading from.

The first thing I'd recommend trying is to power down your iPad (press & hold Sleep/Wake until the red OFF slider appears, then slide it to shut down), and then boot it back up and try again. You're resetting a bunch of state signals by doing that and this simple action (the first of a series recommended by Apple in your Users Guide) will quite often clear up these sorts of problems. -
Can I change the language back to the original version if I download a film in Germany (e.g. Batman) - on the info page it says the only language provided is German, whereas for adults the films seem to be provided in both the original version, and the horrid dubbed version.
I am afraid that this is a local policy of Germany as a state, and adopted by companies, which activate there. This method has been used in many European countries, but not in all countries. I am still happy that almost all the films are subtitled in Romania as this allows to hear the original language, the original voice and is very useful for learning foreign languages. Dubbing films is, in my mind, against the European spirit of mutlicultural continent, and states which still support this should abandon this method. I think this is an issue of a cultural phenomenon, not an Apple forum issue.

I tried playing a you tube video, but received a message prompt to download the latest version of Adobe Flash Player. The link to Adobe stated that there are issues with MAC OS X 10.7 and Flash Player 10.3. The new version did not download. Any Suggestion

Software applications are usually installed in the Applications folder on the Macintosh HD and are accessible to all users.
I would advise you to check the Applications folder and see if your software is in there.
Next step would be to Control Click or Right Click on the application and choose "Get Info" and make sure the permissions are set to "Read & Write" for all users. The article below provides more details:
