My question to this forum is that whether Netweaver IDE 7.0 is compatible with NWDI Netweaver CE 7.2.

NWDS IDE 7.0 is not compatible with NWDI Netweaver CE 7.2. Because CE 7.2 NWDS require Java 6 for developing application.
You can not deploy or check-in/check-out using NWDS IDE 7.0 for CE 7.2

I do not see that UCCX 9.0(2)SU2 and CUCM 9.1(2)SU3 are compatible. Is this an error in the document or do we need to upgrade UCCX if we upgrade CUCM from 9.1(1) to 9.1(2)SU3?

How do I fix the compatibility issue between my iPhone 4S with iOS 7 and my Pioneer car stereo? There was no problem with iOS 6, but now I get a message saying "this device is not compatible" and so I can't use Netflix for example. How do I fix it?
This is a typical response from the manufacturer. Did you try the fix that Lawrence mentioned. When Apple or any other phone manufacturer update phone software, they have the latest Bluetooth installed. It is usually the problem with the radio manufacturer that they devices are using the older Bluetooth protocols. You can try this support document http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3581 and see if anything there helps, but generally it requires the radio manufacturer to update their firmware.

CONTEXT
I’ve been working my project with Jdev11.1.1.1, when I migrate to JDev 11.1.1.2. I realized that my project didn’t compile successfully as before besides I couldn’t see the design view in a WYSIWYG mode on my JSF pages.
I had installed (initially) in C:\oracle\Middleware Jdev 11.1.1.1 with WLS 10.3 (default in Installer)
A couple days ago I realized about the new Jdev release JDev 11.1.1.2 and I decided to migrate because of the IDE improvements such as Bugs Solutions, Maven support, code templates, etc).
The new version seemed to be non-compatible with WLS 10.3 because I couldn’t mount it in the same middleware so I installed the new one in C:\oracle\Middleware11g2, JDev 11.1.1.2 with WLS 10.3.1 (default in Installer).
EXAMPLE
I have created a new sample Project named JDev112App, it only has 1 java class, 1 ADF template and 1 JSPx to show the errors and differences between releases of the IDE… However, I also have added the screenshots of the Project in each IDE, also I have included a screenshot of my real project (Business App).
NOTE. Business APP project is under subversion SVN and the migration was done successfully when JDEv 11.1.1.2 opened it (it migrated automatically).
What should I do?? .. thanks

I have installed in a new machine without previous version of Jdev the new release JDev 11.1.1.2.0 and when I deploy my test application with errors ( showed in this post ), it works fine and also the design view is correct.
I am not SURE but I think the bug or problem could be also the preference/settings migration between JdeveloperS.
Can anybody tell me the real reason?? How can I fix it ... I don’t want to import each of my settings manually in JDev 11.1.1.2.0 ( I mean templates, javadocs settings, connections, repositories, etc).

Any ideas on problem with ipod and alpine cde-9881 car stereo
I have an ipod 60gb v 1.2.1 and a new Alpine car stereo with Ipod connecting cable. When connected, the stereo message reads IPod searching. It never assumes control of ipod,or quits searching. I have reset and restored my ipod, had the apple geek at genius bar check it out. My ipod does not play on the alpine ipod ready stereo in my husband's car, nor the stereos in Car Toys. My husband's 30 gb ipod plays on the stereo in his car AND my car. Help! Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this problem? Alpine is telling me it could be a software problem with my ipod, and to revert to an earlier version of itunes. But my husband's ipod works in my car. So I did a restore using his computer and itunes....no luck. am interested in any ideas on a possible solution!!

IDES installation problem with DDIC password

After hours of searching and trying..
I have here a problem during a local installation of IDES ECC 6.0 on Windows Server 2008 with MAXDB. The installation stops in phase 27 of 29 u201Ccheck DDIC passwordu201D - test logon to SAP system failed, with the error message FRF-00007 "Unable to open RFC connection" in sapinst.
The MMC shows in the process list that the following processes stands oon "green": igswd, mag_Server and disp+work are running. The message of servers connection is OK, acts dialogue queue time is 0.00 sec.
I have already searched the forum, but I am not able to logon as user SAP* with u201C060. u2026u201D or as user DDIC with the password u201C199. u2026u201D to change the DDIC password to my password set during the installation (transaction -S000 / SU01). The login fails over the MMC as well as over the SAP GUI 7.10. I have tried this on the client 000, 001 and 800. The error message is u201CSAP Logon Failed - connection closed without message (CM_NO_DATA_RECEIVEDu201D). The SAP GUI gets down with "Work process restartet, session terminated".
What can help to solve the problem? Can it be a problem with the ms loop adaptor? Which static address IP must assign to the loop adaptor? Did i have to update the kernel of the data bank or is this not necessary? Can the information from dev_w help?

The kernel is not patched. I just (try) to install the kernel files from the sap market place
IDES download destination. The install kernel file was: 51033508_7 - NW7 SR3 Kernel 7.00 for Windows / LNX X86_X64. I got an update / upgrade file, which is called: 51033508_8 - NW7 SR3 Kernel .... Upg ABAP.
Can anybody give me an adwise by reading those logfiles? Is the file ok for updating the kernel?
How do I upgrade the kernel by having no .exe - file? May the installation go on after patching the kernel?

IDE/SCSI Problems with Neo 4 Platinum/Sli
I am routinely getting Event 11 and Event 9 errors in my event viewer which are basically "The controller detected an error on device " then lists a controller and a harddrive. I never got errors like this on my old rig (an Asus A7Pro Motherboard) and I'm using many of the same components. I get controller errors on my Adaptec Card/HDD which is very odd since I'd imagine they were totally separate from the nVidia or Silicon Image SATA/IDE on the board.

I originally had a 40GB IDE Maxtor drive (which I replaced with the Digital Raptor) but it had all sorts of event 11 and 9 errors and exhibited slow IDE performance and even created conflicts with the WD IDE Drive outside of windows. I had problems running the WD diagnostsics software (runs in DOS) when the Maxtor drive was set to primary master on either of the two IDE channels.
What I'm wondering is if there is a BIOS upgrade or Driver release or anything that fixes these problems for people. I'm using BIOS 3.1 (when I upgraded to Bios 3.4, my computer would BSOD in normal and safe modes, and I didn't feel like reinstalling Windows, so I downgraded back to 3.1) The nVidia IDE drivers (6.53) caused massive problems with my drives (event 11 and 9 and endless lockups with the IDE light remaining on, requiring cold boots) so I ditched them for the windows default drivers.
I'm curious if people have checked out their own event viewer (Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Event Viewer->System for all you non-power users) and checked out the errors listed there.
The only other stability problem sI've noticed is when playing Half Life 2 in 1280X1024 resolution (1024X768 didn't have the problem) would cause complete crash of the machine. Monitor would lose signal and a cold boot was required... reset button didn't fix the problem. I figured this might be a cooling issue so I checked temps and they were fine. Then I figured it may be a power problem so I upgraded to the Vantec Stealth PSU (from my Antec 380W SilentPower) I haven't tested HL2 extensively since, so I'm not sure if this problem has gone away. The other problem occurs when trying to rip a CD in iTunes with "cd error checking on" System totally stalls out and a cold boot is required to get the SCSI happy again. If I rip using error checking off, things seem to work, however I get a problem sometimes where a track will suddenly squeel and crack in the middle and then the remainder of the song will be the first track on the album. The next track in the sequence will have a half second blip of the previous track on it, essentially meaning that two tracks are "broken rips" Ripping in AudioGrabber with ASPI doesn't seem to exhibit these problems.
Any similar experiences or sollutions/advice would be greatly appreciated.It's been fixed for the Neo2. I am using a modded version called 1C3 EasyBios [rev.2]. I think it is based on the latest version or new beta of the official 1.B. Read all about it:

I'm inquiring about the compatibility of Apple cinema displays from years past with Macbook Pro 15" Late 2011.
For instance, will all Apple Cinema Displays from, say, 2008 onwards work with my mbook?
They can be had fairly cheaply on the used market.
What is the earliest model that will be compatible?
I've never had an external monitor for my lappies, so I am very clueless. I know DVI is a common connection, but there is no DVI port on my lappie.
I would also be very curious as to what would be suitable displays from other manufacturers, particularly Samsung and Dell.
The size doesn't have to be big, 20-23 inch is fine, I am more worried about good resolution [no obvious pixellation]
If a screen is big, but has good resolution that's even better of course, but I'm not ****-bent on a big thing.
The mbook 15" screen is just a bit squashy for home use really.

Feel free to link me to other threads as an answer, I have done a bit of searching around, but still confused.I have the same MBP and recently bought a 23" cinema display on Craigslist for $140. It works great. I had a display port to DVI adapter and it worked fine. Built a stand to hold the laptop vertically so it's out of the way. Don't know about older displays but anything with DVI should work fine.
The screen size and resolution are great for photo editing. I now have the best of both worlds, a display that rivals my wife's iMac and portability. -

However with ADF 11g R1 11.1.1.6 exists a patch and a web.xml context param to solve it.
Applying patch and setting next context param in web.xml is solved:

Ideas for working with child applications
Hi. We are migrating to Web Forms from client server. We have a form that acts as the gateway to all of our other forms. During our migration I've been using Open_Form to call all other forms accessible from this gateway form. For the most part this works great. However I've noticed a couple of differences that I fear our users will complain about and I'd like to know if you have ideas as to how I can addresses these issues:
1. Each application is now housed within a single Windows taskbar item. In client-server, users are use to seeing a separate taskbar item for each application they open - thus allowing them to ALT-Tab between applications. It appears that under Web Forms there will only ever be one Windows Taskbar item and that the user will need to use ALT-W to toggle between open applications. Is this the norm under Web Forms? If so, I plan to present it as a simple training issue. But if there is a way to launch each application as a stand alone application with the ability to pass parameters to the launched application I would prefer to do that.
2. Many of our users will start their day by opening several form applications they frequently use. They do this so that they can simply toggle to the open form application quickly as opposed to navigating through our gateway application in order to lauch it each time. Many of our forms open and programatically put the for in Enter-Query mode so that they don't need to do this manually each time they open the form. However, I've noticed that under Web Forms that they cannot toggle away from an open form application if it's in Enter-Query mode. They receive the message "FRM-41361: Cannot navigate out of the current form in Enter-Query mode". Is this the norm under Web Forms? Should I plan on telling users they must Cancel-Query prior to toggling away from open forms in Enter-Query mode?
Any thoughts and ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The calling of the form would look like WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT('http://server:port/forms/frmservlet?config=xx', '_blank');
But.. if you don't use any single-sign-on-methods the user would have to connect again each time (or you would have to pass username/password as clear text in the url).
Other option:
If the main form does nothing but call other forms you could buildup a "static" html-page with a button for each "standalone"-application instead of the main-form.
btw.. One big problem we had with open_form some years ago (and behaviour is still the same):
You can only build up one CALL_FORM-stack in one runtime. This means if you have two parallel forms OF1 and OF2 opened with OPEN_FORM (you treat like different applications), if you
-go to OF1
-open a sub-form using CALL_FORM
-navigate to OF2
-try to issue a CALL_FORM from there you will get an FRM-41353.
