I have an HP LaserJet 5P and had the same problem. My LaserJet is connected to a D-Link ethernet print server, then to an Airport Express to support wireless printing.
As recommended in earlier posts, I first downloaded the Gutenprint HP drivers at Sourceforge, version 5.2.9 That did not work. Then found the reference to the Apple kb here: http://support.apple.com/kb/dl907
Downloaded these drivers. When setting up the printer, I got the autoselect option for Generic Postscript Printer and used that. Printer worked, but printed out garbage. I then deleted the printer, and this time selected the HP LaserJet 5P CUPS + Gutenprint v.5.2.9 THAT WORKED! I don't know if was the combination of downloading the drivers from Sourceforge and the Apple kb, or just the Apple kb that solved the problem, but I'm glad this is now sorted.
I was a bit surprised when I hit this snag to begin with because the last upgrade I did from Lion to Mountain Lion, I did not have this issue. It was seamless.

Itunes just says sync and my Apple TV screen says sync.
But nothing moves.
I checked that the wifi or even lan has no movements on data sending or receiving.

Problem with wifi connection ever since I upgraded to ios 6?!

My wifi isn't working right and I just upgraded to ios about an hour ago. Issues with AppleTV/iTunes sync since Lion upgrade

I am not sure if this realted to Lion, however sometime after the time of ky recent upgrade itunes started only recognizing some of my Aperture library to sync. I have about 10k images in Aperture and iTunes is only showing about 2,900 photos available to sync. There is plenty of room on the ATV and this previously worked fine.
I have tried switching to a new Aperture library and back, repairing permissions, repair & rebuild database, reinstall Aperture. Nothing seems to be working.
Help!

Yes, this worked! I did the same thing (I think) by selecting all photos in my library and Aperture>Photos>Update Preview. My library was in the middle of processing when I read your post and it gave me hope it would work. As of this am, itunes can once again recognize all my Aperture library, and syncs correctly with all devices (ATV, iPad, i Phone). Yahoo! I hope all your photos come available as well.
Apple support was not able to provide a solution. They suggested the things I had already tried, and were stumped other than that. Pretty much all they do is reiterate what is on these forums unfortunately.

Can't access iPhoto 11 backup with Time Capsule/Michine since Lion upgrade

I just upgraded to Lion OS and now whenever I try to access my iPhoto backup, it only opens my desktop folder (pages and pages) instead of my iPhoto. I've never had trouble before - and iPhoto is active when I click on the Time Machine icon.

Hi Bob. How do I "close" time machine so I can restart it (once I restart my Mac).
Then, I can't find the "browse backups" from the file menu in the upper left corner? What am I missing?

p.s. Also, do you know if it's actually true that we can only restore the entire iPhoto collection instead of just certain events or photos? That seems extreme if I can't ever just restore a set of pictures. I know I saw that restriction for iPhoto 9 or something but 11?

iCal sync is fine. All the proper boxes in iTunes are checked. The iPhone is reconized in iTunes. Any suggestions?

Sorry I don't have an answer for you. I kind of doubt Apple has added a solution for that yet, since your Facebook account is not yet synced through iCloud; it is set up independantly on each device.

Hi, i've recently got a macbook pro on a grant for university. i have today purchased and uploaded the windows 7 programme on bootcamp. the only problem is that on windows it now appears that i have no access to programs which are installed on the mac part of the computer such as microsoft word, excel, power point etc. is there anyway of accessing them through the windows part of my computer?

The analog audio out is good, but it's only stereo. If you use the digital optical out, you can get 5.1. Does your home theater system have an optical audio in?

You can check the add-on's page at [http://addons.mozilla.org addons.mozilla.org] if it's just one or two. I believe there is one extensions in the add-ons gallery that lets you see whether your add-ons are compatible with newer versions of Firefox. But you'll have to search for them, since I don't know how it's called.
I will remind you that if you want an add-on to be compatible with a newer version of Firefox, you need to contact its author.
Also, the version of Firefox you are using at the moment has been discontinued and is no longer supported. Furthermore, it has known bugs and security problems. I urge you to update to the latest version of Firefox, for maximum stability, performance, security and usability. You can get it for free, as always, at [http://www.getfirefox.com getfirefox.com].
