Compatible flash player for E61i

Upgraded from the E61 to the E61i recently --- shocked to find that I cannot view web video's or play online flash games (www.stickfootball.com) which I could on the E61.
Can someone help me with this problem? I am sure there is a way I can have fun again, but how?
Cheers!

  • Is Adobe ever going to do a flash player for Windows 7 64 bit IE ?

I've had my Win 7 64 bit laptop over 6 months and still no sign of compatible
flash player for the IE 64 bit. Is there ever likely to be one ?

I read from Adobe's own site that they are working on the 64-bit version for most everything:
    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/000/6b3af6c9.html
They provide instructions for installing on Mac as well.
I imaging Apple (ahem, Steve Jobs) will still resist Flash on their products until they can get them to run smooth consistently, and even then they're not likely to allow it on their hand-held devices because they don't like developers using cross-compatible languages.

  • Adobe Flash player for iview

I wish to watch a tv program in iview.  I installed adobe flash player as directed, but when I went to watch my show it still told me to install adobe.  I now have three "flashplayer" icons on my desktop.  I need to delete two of these and to activate one.  How do I do this.....help please!!!

While I'm painfully aware of the lack of a version of Adobe Flash Player for the iPhone, more and more Flash-based web home pages are not accessible to the iPhone. I also understand that Flash Player is not compatible with Apple's 'vision' for iPhone Applications. The problem we have is this increasing exclusion of Flash-based web sites and if what I understand about Apple's policy on iPhone Apps is accurate, then we will never have access to these sites on an unmodified iPhone. I can see that one of the problems is that Adobe Flash Player competes with the YouTube Player and possibly with iTunes movies.
Unless the web pages have a link for iPhones or re-direct iPhones accessing those pages to a non-Flash version of the web page, it seems likely that we are basically, well...screwed. Anyone have a different take on this?
Do we need an Apple-Adobe intervention? Perhaps over a nice hot mocha latté in Seattle...

  • Adobe Flash Player for mobile (iOS and Android) devices

I have both Apple iOS and Android devices, and can't install Adobe Flash Player on either.  It appears that Adobe no longer provides Flash Player for any mobile devices.  The company I work for uses a a company called Paychex for payroll and time & labor, and that program requires Adobe Flash Player to function.  I am sometimes in areas where I cannot use my computer and must rely on a mobile device to clock in and out, but I can't do that because you have stopped providing the program.  What do I do now?????

iOS has never been compatible with Flash, and per Apple, never will be. It's a lost cause hoping for an iPad Flash Player.
Additionally, Android dropped ALL support for Flash last year. Adobe stopped development of Flash for Android shortly afterward.
See: "Why can't I install Flash Player on my Tablet?" (Kindle or Samsung Galaxy)
The reason both Android and Apple gave for their Flash support decisions is that Flash content is very processor consumptive and it eats battery life in mobile devices.

    It's Android®...
There is no more Flash Player for Android and there won't be another. Android is no longer compatible with Flash Player. Playing Flash content is very processor consumptive and it drains your battery, also shortening the life of it. Android (Google) recommends using either "Dolphin" or "Puffin" as your browser if you need to view Flash content with a mobile device running Android. They're both availabe in the GooglePlay store. These browsers use "server side" rendering to reduce the load on your device.

  • Adobe flash player for vivaz pro

Hey, im looking for adobe flash player for vivaz pro. its symbian s60v5 so it should support it but i cant download it from adobe's website and i havent managed to find it elsewhere either.

Yes, that's because your phone already has flash lite installed--I'm guessing that the version from that link is probably the same as the one in your phone, despite it saying that it's version 4--or perhaps you have Flash lite version 4.0 already installed in your phone. Either way, Symbian only supports Flash lite (latest version being 4.0), so have a look here on this table  of OS vs type of compatible Adobe flash player:

  • Flash Player for HTC Wildfire S

Hi Please can any one at adobe help, & answer a question regarding Flash Player.
I have HTC Wildfire S, I can play flash content from most browsers, but i would dearly love to use the bbciplayer, but cant as it requires I have adobe flash player. I have gone to andriod market & their is know way of installing adobe flash player for my type of phone.
I have spoken with HTC & they say the only way i can get iplayer, is if adobe realease a install or update or a version for flashlite andriod phones like my HTC Wildfire to a version that would be compatible for this model phone. (HTC Wildfire S)
Please could you tell me if their will be a adobe flash player available soon for my HTC Wildfire S.
I would be so greatful if you were able to give me any positive or any good news regarding this issue, & any future developments adobe have in this area.

i had a chance to research more on your phone and it seems to have an arm11 chipset which is currently not supported.  here is a response snippet from one of our mobile dev managers:
Flash Player requires a CPU with support for the ARMv7-A instruction set to achieve the level of performance required for acceptable multimedia playback.
Your device has an ARM11 CPU, which only supports the ARMv6 instruction set.
For future reference, Adobe maintains a list of devices certified to work with Adobe Flash Player and AIR here:
    http://www.adobe.com/flashplatform/certified_devices/
You might want to give Skyfire a try.  It uses "remote desktop" technology to render Flash animation and video in the cloud, for devices that are incapable of processing Flash content natively:

The answer is, and always will be, the same.
There IS NO MORE Flash Player for Android. Not since June 2012, and THERE WON'T be another...EVER. Andorid ISN'T compatible with Flash Player anymore and that won't change.
Playing Flash content is very processor consumptive and it drains your battery, also shortening the life of it. • Flash Player for Iphone out yet?

I was reading articles back in 2008 that Adobe was developing a Flash Player for the Iphone. However, the latest article I came across, dated April 2009 said basically it was up to Apple to say "We want Flash for the Iphone"
Does anyone know what the progress on this is?

Doubtful fellow users know what the progress on this is. The most recent article I came across on this included a quote by Adobe's CEO that indicated developing a flash player or plugin or the iPhone has been more difficult than anticipated.
The only flash player or plugin that is currently compatible with any cell phone is flash-lite, which is limited and which Apple stated they aren't interested in. Adobe is currently working on a full flash version for a handful of phones in the smart phone category that isn't a processor hog as it is with a PC or Mac, which won't be available until later this year or early next year.

  • Flash player for android tablet

downloaded archived version of flash player onto android tablet but only get settings not actual app

There is no more Flash Player for Android and there won't be another. Android is no longer compatible with Flash Player. Archived versions WON'T run on anything newer than 4.0, as well, and even then you'd have to "sideload" it and make several changes to get it to work, and you'd run into numerous pages and sites that will tell you you need to update to the latest Player. Honestly? it's a waste of time. Playing Flash content is very processor consumptive and it drains your battery, also shortening the life of it. Android (Google) recommends using either "Dolphin" or "Puffin" as your browser if you need to view Flash content with a mobile device running Android. They're both free in the GooglePlay store. • Flash Player for Vienna

I might be jumping the gun a bit here but the question has to
be asked. Is Adobe getting Flash Player ready to be compatible with
    Windows Vienna?

Yes, we're well aware that Firefox on Win8.1 is not the most stable choice.  You're far better off with IE or Chrome on Win8.1 at the moment.  There's no magic bullet there, and we're collaborating with Mozilla to resolve the long-standing issues on that config.
The work in Flash Player for this effort is in the current shipping version, but they depend on Firefox 40 or higher (nightly.mozilla.org) and the latest Flash Player beta (http://www.adobe.com/go/flashplayerbeta).  You should see some improvement on that config, but you also get a bunch of experimental Firefox features, so there are no guarantees.  It would be interesting to know if you see an improvement there.

I need to update my flash player for my nook

There is no Android version of Flash. Google announced over two years ago that Flash would no longer be compatible with new versions of Android. It's the same thing that Apple did with the iPad. Adobe stopped developing Flash for Android because of Google's announcement.
