Compatible ink replacement 564 for a 5520 series printer

I have a HP 5525 of the 5520 serie. I  replaced the 670 original cartridge with a 564 (compatible with 5520 on the package). Now i am getting an incompatible cartridge message.
Why and how to fix it?

Hi,
No, 564 is not compatible with Deskjet 5525. 564 is compatible with Photosmart 5525. Please use the following table:
    http://support.hp.com/au-en/product/HP-Deskjet-2050-All-in-One-Printer-series---J5/4027463/model/402...
Deskjet and Photosmart are TWO different classes/types of printers.
Regards.

  • Replacement fan for a G71 series

I'm trying to find a part number for the CPU fan. G71-329WM, I'm not sure if it's VM113UA or UAR.
    Thanks in advance.

Those numbers are not part numbers for the CPU fun, an HP part number will end in -001. (99% of the time)
There is no manual yet posted for this model, however I found these items from e-bay.

Sometimes the only way to ID what you need is to physically take it apart and do a comparison.
When Googled, VM113UA or VM113UAR, the laptop itself come up, the battery or charger.

  • How to adjust Date for the HPBEA4E7 (HP Photosmart 5520 series)

Can somebody tell me how to adjust the date for my HPBEA4E7 (HP Photosmart 5520 series)?
For example, I changed the black cartridge yesterday and the printer tells me that I did that on 01/01/2015.

    Hi @PieterF3rd
Most of our printers have a setting in the Preferences menu to change the date and time, but it appears this one does not. On the front panel of the printer, touch the little wrench in the top tight hand corner to access the settings menu. In the Setup menu select the Preferences menu and check there, if it is not there maybe check the tools menu. From what I can see, the option is not there, but it certainly should be.
If you can't find the option, I would give us a call and express the issue to a phone professional. It is possible that that connecting the printer to a network and enabling the Web Services will automatically update the date and time, but this should be necessary considering not all customers have network access.
If you are in Canada or US call 800 474 6836, or you can Contact HP Worldwide.
    I hope this helps.

  • Odd question about a replacement keyboard for HP pavilion G71326DX

I have a G7 1326DX that needs a replacement keyboard. However A frind of mine recently purchased a G72233cl and I noticed that the keyboards were basically the same, however his had a design that I like much better (Key types). My question is, Can I purchase a Replacement keyboard for the G72233cl and install that keyboard into my G71326DX. I have looked into the connection interface, as well as lined up the notches around the edges of the keyboard with pictures of the replacement keyboards, However I want to make sure it will work correctly before I make my Purchase. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.
    Marvin Parnell

    Hello MPnarnell,
The keyboard on your G7-1326dx needs to be replaced, but you want to use a keyboard for a G7-2233cl, is that correct? I will try to help you .
Comparing the keyboard section of the manuals the part number for the keyboard you want to you use doesn’t show in the G7-1326dx list of compatible keyboards. The reason being probably is because it has never been fully tested.
Now both computers are G7’s but they are 2 totally different series of G7’s so the motherboards are probably different as well. This is one of those issues where you would have to  test it out and see, I don’t believe it will work but I could be wrong. Here is the part number for the keyboard that came on the G7-2233cl. (699146-001)
If you decided to go ahead and try to change it be sure to check for a BIOS update before doing so.
Please respond back at your earliest convenience.
    Thanks

  • Replacement Model for the discontinued HP Photosmart C4783 All-in-One Printer

    Hello,
Can anyone tell if there is a very similar replacement model for the C4783? I need the same forn factor.

I am not sure you can find replacement models for this printer but I will do my best to find out. The entire product line for Photosmart C4600 and C4700 are the last models to use that same printer shape and size.  I checked for compatible printers that used that kind of ink and none even looked like the same kind of printer.  The next generation was the Photosmart D110 which would have been the possible upgraded version of this printer but it is hard to say if it is going to have the same "forn factor."
Are you referring to the form factor as the chassis or as an electrical component?  I found your exact model of printer at the HP Parts Store listed as a replacement model (product #: Q8380B) suggesting to contact one of these available resellers.  I hope this answers your questions.  If not, define forn factor and hopefully I can help you more.
Don't forgot to say thanks by giving "Kudos" if I helped solve your problem.

  • How long does the ink cartridges 564 last in a C309a

I recently bought a used C309a printer, the first thing I did was buy new ink cartidges.  The old ones were 564 so I bought them again after I installed them I have used the printer less than 15 times and most were blk. copies, I am already getting a low ink signal for the colored ink, did I get bad cartridges or do these not last very long?  At this rate I cannot afford to use this printer!  Any ideas as to what is wrong, also I have only had the new ink in about a week and a half.

My HP Photostat C309g printer shutdown due to low ink in 564 black photo.  I had to replace the cartridge to run the printer.  I have not used the Photo feature so it should not be empty.  Is there a way to over-ride the printer shutdown due to low ink level ?
