  • Compatible tomcat version for Directory server 6.3

    Dear All,
Could someone please tell me which version of Tomcat will be the compatible for Directory Server 6.3. And i am new to this directory server environment, here i need to install tomcat too so kindly send me the steps for installing tomcat. Thanks!
    Regards,
    Karthik

    Hi Karthik,
Directory Server 6.3 Control Center has been released many years ago, so it has been certified (so this means that IT IS OFFICIALLY SUPPORTED) on the most common application servers at that time, so Tomcat 5.5 and Sun App Server 8.2.
Personally I've run the DSCC also on the latest releases of Tomcat (6.0.35 at the time of writing) and Glassfish (2.1.1 series) for test deployments absolutely fine; but in case of issues, if you want your solution to be 'officially supported' by Oracle, you've got to reproduce the problem on the supported app servers in the compatibility matrix.
    HTH,
    marco
P.S.: also Directory Server 6.3 is getting older and older... at least try to get the latest patch: 6.3.1.1.1
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E19261-01/E26994/html/index.html
The latest release is now 11.1.1.5.0 if you don't have any architectural/sw compatibility constraint, try to move/migrate to a more recent release

  • AS5350XM - Compatible IOS version for 'ip host ... srv' command.

    Hi Friends,
I'm having AS5350XM model of Voice Gateways in CVP8.0 environment working with ICM8.0 and CUCM8.0.
I'd like to define static hostname-to-address mappings in VG for my CVP CallServers along with command argument 'SRV' to use  all 4 CVP servers for loadbalancing and failover functionality thereby assigning priority to each call server.
I tried by using a couple of IOS version starting from 12.4(24)T4 till 15.1(3)T, but can't find a particular version which supports the argument 'srv'.
I'd appreciate if someone could suggest me an appropriate IOS version supporting 'srv' argument with 'ip host' command on AS5350XM Gateways.
Pls feel free to revert for any clarifications. Thank you.
    Regards,
    Soman Nair.

You should be able to do it.
In your dial peer you should be able to say
    session target dns:callserver.sgp.foobar.com

    ip host CA1.sgp.foobar.com 10.10.1.2
    ip host CA2.sgp.foobar.com 10.10.1.3

Thanks, I was thinking so. I installed my CS4 from a CD in 2008, and it looks like Adobe has taken another approach to selling their products. I'll be downloading CC Photoshop a little later today.

  • Last compatible version for iOS6

I am not upgrading to iOS7. They have a feature with the App Store that is SUPPOSED to tell you that the current version is not compatible, and if you would like to download the last compatible version for your device. When I click on this app in the store, it is telling me that I need to install iOS7 without asking me about downloading an older version. What is going on?

After 3 days spent on this matter I run out of it. I'm happily out of this nightmare, thanks to this community, sure not to Apple.
Now I still have ios6 on iPhone4. Still don't like it, but at at least I have my phone back and working.
What I can say is that:
    - there's no way do downgrade and ios6 to 5.1.1 unless you have the help of Steve Job's soul. There are many links and hints all around the web, but variabilities are so many that you don't want to really deal with. Little hidden files you have to save before, little unknow programs you have to run after, etc, etc..
I'm a normal guy with a normal need: a phone working, and didn't want to deal with all that stuff.
    - there's a version of iTunes, apparently developed for developers in order to test ios6 on PPC. It's still the 10.6.3 mentioned above by Wallace, but this one works; it's the one I used this morning. Here the discussion and download link:

Thanks to all, this community is just fantastic.
    Shame on Apple.

2 Some movies may not be available from iTunes in the Cloud. These movies, if purchased in HD, will download both the HD and SD versions for you to sync to your compatible iPod and iOS devices. Previous purchases may be unavailable if they have been refunded or are no longer available in the iTunes Store, App Store, or iBookstore.

Do you have a question ? Not all content is available for re-downloading e.g. if the content provider (or Apple) removes them from the store, and there are also some film studios (in countries where film re-downlaoding is possible) who haven't agreed to allow their films to be re-downloaded.
    Otherwise, re-downloading : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519

  • Highest version for fresh GRC install?

Is 8.6.5.1616 the highest version of GRC that can be installed from scratch? Or is some version of 8.6.4 required with patches to get to the latest version?
    Thank you.

    No.
8.6.5.1616 is a base patch, which can be installed as Fresh GRC setup on your environment.
Latest available patch is 8.6.5.600 for which you  need to follow the upgrade path

  • Is marvel the code name for the next Portal version?

I played around a bit in Marvel and I notice similar functionality in Portal.
Is marvel the code name for the next Portal version?

actually, joep, project marvel differs from portal in several respects. primarily, though, oracle portal is geared more towards content management whereas project marvel focuses more on application development.

  • How do I sync apps from the same iTunes account to an iPhone 3G and an iPhone 4S and keep correct version for each iOS?

I have an old 3G as well as a 4S. Initially I set up a separate iTunes account for the 4S as I was worried I'd lose my old apps for 3G (as older, compatible versions aren't kept in the iTunes store so once they're gone, they're gone...). 3G is set up to sync with iTunes, 4S is inly syncing mail and conatcts through Exchange but hasn't been synced with an iTunes library for the reason above.
Is there a way to sync both phones off the same iTunes account, so I can set up each phone with some music, as well as apps, without iOS 5 versions overwriting the exisitng apps for the 3G?
To complicate things further, I don't want to sync photos, contacts, messages, etc. I just want to avoid having to duplicate all my music and pay for all the apps all over again. Suggestions?
    Cheers

    Hi gail,
Thanks for the quick reply! The music part makes sense, good to know I don't have to duplicate the lot. The big question stillr emains as to whether iTunes can cope with two different iPhones, running different versions of the iOS, and therefore different app versions.
Currently all the apps in iTunes are years old, and many haven't updated in months (years?) because the 3G is running iOS 4.2.1 (and can't be upgraded). Many of these have since been updated in the iTunes store (for the various incarnations of iPhone since) and the old versions that my 3G requires have been replaced.
I'm worried that syncing the 4S running iOS 5, and running the most recent updates for same apps, will cause iTunes to overwrite the old 3G compatible ones when I sync. Unless iTunes is smart enough to know which version of the app is for which OS, without updating the legacy version when I update the apps on the 4S?
You guys shouldn't face that problem, as iPad and iPhone apps don't replace each other (I believe? Not sure about this) as new updates are released for each app, you'd have a copy for each device (for example Evernote for iPad, and Evernote for iPhone). I can't figure out if iTunes can handle keeping separate iPhone versions for Evernote iOS 4.2.1 and Evernote for iOS 5. My gut feeling is no, but I want to amke sure before I lose the legacy versions of each app.
Of course, maybe I'm just paranoid and iTunes is in fact perfectly capable of keeping old and new apps in the same library?
    Cheers

  • Best Safari version for 10.6.6

I'm running Safari 5.0.2 on a 15" Macbook Pro running Snow Leopard 10.6.6.
I'm having issues with some sites so wish to try another version of Safari to see if that will help.
I downloaded versions 5.0.2 (just for safety if I had to return to it), 5.0.3 and 5.1.1, all of which said they were compatible with Snow Leopard.
When I attempt to install 5.0.3 it says it cannot install as it needs OS version 10.6.5
When I attempt to install 5.1.1 it says it cannot install as it needs OS version 10.6.7
Even when I attempt to install 5.0.2 it says it cannot install as it needs OS version 10.6.4
What Gives?  Is there a version of Safari out there that will install onto OS 10.6.6?
Please don't recommend me changing my operating system, I am staying with this version for other compatibility reasons.  The question is:
Is there a version of Safari out there that will install onto OS 10.6.6?  And if so can you recommend the site in which to find it?  Thank you.

    Hi..
Is there a version of Safari out there that will install onto OS 10.6.6?  And if so can you recommend the site in which to find it?
Never install anywhere but from the Apple support page.
Not running the latest Mac OS X puts your Mac at risk for malware. For whatever reason you are not running v10.6.8, consider updating to v10.6.8 and Safari 5.1.5.
All you have to do is click your Apple menu > Software Update
