Compatible Skype Call Service Phones

Hello,
I have skype to go service that is working perfectly on my computer. I simply want to know, is there any way in which I could solely use a phone for the skype service without paying for the phones service (ie. Verizon)? Please don't refer me to a link, the answers on the skype site dont specify, thank you.

I have answers:1. Call phones recently stopped working for me because I was not including the area code in the phone number. Now working Ok.Is Number Highlighting turned on? To check, click the 3 bars to open the menu and click Add-ons. Is Skype Click to Call listed? If so, click More and ensure that Turn Highlighting is turned on.I hope this has helped

That was a great explanation on the situation. Just to confirm, Europe uses GSM for their wireless network. There are third party apps that will allow you to make calls via wi-fi on a wi-fi enabled device. This is largely due if wi-fi is available and if it's free.
From my experience, I was able to make wi-fi calls on my Iphone 4 in Greece without any problems last month. Since we don't own any towers in Europe, the service is hit or miss. Feel free to update us when you get back.

Well, I got the informtion that after Nov 10, Skype users will not able to call India-Based Phones.
Please temme the reason.

Skype Call Put on Hold when another Phone Call com...

Why does my active Skype call automatically get put on hold when a standard phone call comes through on my iphone 6? I would prefer to manually switch between calls and I hold many conference calls through SKYPE.
I am using the current version of Skype and iOS 8.

Please check if you enable conferencing in topology builder, you can check on the Standard edition topology below “Feature and functionality”.
Please also try to re-run the Lync Server Components install from the Deployment Wizard and check services again.
If the issue persists, you can use the Lync server logging tool on FE server to test the process of conferencing.

Making a skype call on a dual phone.

I've just installed a binatone s1545 dual landline and internet phone but it only seems to be letting me make skype calls from my contact list and not use the key pad to dial any other number. I've tried using the onscreen dial pad and this works but I can't hear the call through the handset.
Any ideas ?

Does Verizon offer a "call my phone" service.

The other day I lost my phone in my apartment. It took me an hour to find it, in plain sight, on a shelf where I never place it.
Unfortunately I gave up my land line years ago so I couldn't call my self.
Is there somewhere on this site where I can just put in a request to have a bot call my phone. I don't know what the free services on line would do with my number.

What plan are you on??? If you are on the More Everything plan, the hotspot is included in your monthly service charge. There are no extra fees, simply the charge for the amount of data used.
Keep in mind, your Verizon iPhone does not have simultaneous voice/data capabilities. You would not be able to supply data to your phone or other devices if you are on a call.

Is it possible to record parts of a phone call on Skype into Logic, then play back the audio while still on the Skype call? I'm a voice teacher coaching students in other cities, and Skype is not helpful with this idea.

What I'm saying is:
Make a new MONO audio track (use the + button). Assign it to input 1
Make a second new MONO track, assign it to input 2
Name both tracks, record-enable both tracks, and record.
You could, of course, make both tracks in one go via the new track dialog box, and hav ethem automatically assigned to ascending inputs.

Skype calls not coming through on Windows Phone 8....

Hello All, I have a Skype number and am travelling in Europe. My wifi is working and I can email, make calls via Skype, etc. I just can't get incoming calls. I do get emails saying that I missed a call and people that call me then text me and say that my phone number goes to voice mail. I have already uninstalled the app and reinstalled it per Skype support. This did not work. Not sure what to try next. This did work when I was in the US - I tested it by calling from another line. Redirect Skype Number Calls to Phone.

I want to redirect calls of my skype number to my Phone in India. Also, dont want the Skype calls should redirect. Only Skype Number Calls should be redirected. Please tell me how to do it?

My regular phone call cut off my skype calls... ho...

I am using skype mobile on my iphone and every time I get a phone call on my regular line, it cuts off my skype call. I thought that once my phone was in use that my other calls would go to voice mail, however my skype calls are just being cut off. I would like to stop this from happening as I have had several important business calls interupted. How do I fix this issue?

I have this same problem. I am am on a skype call and someone will ring my mobile (not through skype) and it will cut out (overide) my skype call. Is there a way to fix this? I think it may be that if on an important skype you turn your cellular data function in your i phone settings. Is this right? Is this the only way?

My call from Skype to landline phones are being blocked

I live overseas and the easiest way to make calls to the US is by using Skype. Recently, however, my Skype calls are being blocked as unsolicited calls by landlines. Of course, the instructions given by the recorded message, do not work (*82 followed by the number). How can I start getting my calls to go through to those who block unsolicited calls? -M

I am facing the same problem...When dialing from Windows PC, there is not even a ringing tone. But from Android phones, it gives rining tone only for me and the receiving side actually doesn't receive call itself. I am living in Dubai..Please suggest a soultion for us.

Skype to Skype calls won't connect, to phones will

I developed a problem with Skype sometime last week. I can connect Skype to phone lines using credits with no problem. I cannot, however, connect Skype to Skype calls. I can send a contact request, see when it is accepted, and exchange sms messages with the contact. However when I attempt to call the contact, or when they attempt to call me, the call hangs up on "connecting" and the other party never sees it coming in to be answered. Later, however, the missed call will appear in the call history.This does not happen with every attempted skype to skype call, but most of them. Skype and Windows 8 updates were run recently before the problem started happening. The other contacts have various versions of Windows including 10, 8 and lower (and unknown.) All Skype calls to landline or mobile numbers are completing as normal. Have tried disabling all firewalls, making sure skype is on the allowed list with firewalls, uninstalling and reinstalling, checking every possible setting we can think of. I'm stumped, my company's helpdesk is stumped, really need to find a fix for this.

read terms - click on this.......but pay pal is in the little area right hand side......click on changes
again click on new credit card on file......
next.....again payPal show up.....

I would really appreciate if you guys work on the feature “ custom backgrounds for chat notifications”.If users will be able to choose any image of their liking in the custom background feature if would add value. Currently some of the chat messengers provide this facility to the users which makes interesting to the users while improving user friendliness and satisfaction. In search, a user can use a built in engine to pull up images based on search and then select it as it their choice. Once you chose an image, it will be asked to confirm and ‘set’ as the universal chat window for all contacts.
