Compilation error that cannot be displayed

Hi all,
I have this compilation error message, but when I try to view the error, nothing appears. Have you guys ever experienced anything like this? Or is there anything that I have missed? Thanx.
(new.sql is the script of the stored procedure)
SQL> @d:\scriptdb\new.sql
Warning: Procedure created with compilation errors.
SQL> show error;
No errors.
SQL>

Try being explicit:
show error procedure procedure_name
or
show error package package_name
"show error" with no additional arguments just shows the errors for the last object processed. Perhaps your script is compiling multiple objects?

  • "Error page cannot be displayed" in the Internet Explorer

    In BSP application while clicking a button in the server page we are getting  "Error page cannot be displayed".
    Is this error occurring due to some problem in R3 server or due to some connectivity issues.

    server page ?? you must mean your HTMLB page or just web page.
    have you checked what does the coding behind that button do ?? did you also check in SICF in folder Error Pages whether there´s a page that has been declared there, but which does not exist ??

  • Preview error Page Cannot be Displayed in transaction SBWP

    When I workflow item is selected in SBWP, the preview section is not displayed.      The preview section should show the description of the document and the objects and attachments to the archivelink document.  Instead it gives the error that the page cannot be displayed.  This is only happening to one user, so my assumption is this related to a machine or software setting.    We have reinstalled SAP, but that did not resolve the issue.

    Hi,
    It is related to their SAPGUI release & patch level or their version of Internet Explorer. Apply the latest SAPGUI patch on the users machine and it should solve the issue. If not check what version of IE they are using compared to everyone else...perhaps they need a new version also.

  • Error: Page cannot be displayed when testing BSP application from SE80

    Hi:
    I am new to SAP 4.7. I need help in running BSP application from SE80. When I run, I am geting error the page cannot be displayed. Can some suggests/advice what are the neccessary steps ahould follow to run BSP application.
    Thanks,
    Venkat.

    Welcome to the forums and welcome to BSP. There are a few things we kindly ask
    Take a look at this weblog: <a href="/people/brian.mckellar/blog/2004/06/11/bsp-trouble-shooting-getting-help">BSP Trouble Shooting: Getting Help</a>
    That will help you jump several of the hurdles you'll come across as you get started.
    As for your problem if you are receiving the message "Service is not active" then you need to go into the transaction SICF in your system and follow the tree (take a look at the path in your browser /sap/bc/...) and select each until you get down to the one you are trying to look at and active it.
    If you are getting errors about other ones not activated then do the same for those.
    If you are not getting those errors and your browser is simply telling you "Can't find it or something" then in "Internet Options" in your browser advanced tab uncheck the "Show Friendly HTTP Errors".
    You can also check transaction ST22 to see if there is a short dump in which case that will help analyze the problem.
    Otherwise you'll need to give us more info including your SP level (recommend you jump up to at least 43 on ABA and BASIS)

  • Compile errors that don't make any sense

    After spending a day coding, I did something to cause my project file to explode with errors. When I revert everything back to a known working version on source control I still get the same errors. I've tried everything I can think of to fix this. I started this problem while fixing a simple compile warning. I've made sure all the frameworks are included correctly. I feel it must be a project setting thats causing these problems. The GLSprite demo still compiles fine, but no matter how far back I go on source control my project file explodes with the same 121 errors. I'm not sure what I could of changed that won't go away with reverting. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I guess my next attempt will be uninstalling XCode.

    Hi Adam -
    Can we assume your source code control doesn't include the .xcodeproj file? Did you backup the entire project folder at any point? I'm guessing probably not or you would have tried the backup folder by now.
    So to review, are you saying that these compile errors are only showing up in your current project? In addition to GLSprite, can we assume you can compile any of the New Project templates?
    Is the behavior the same when you switch between Debug and Release? Simulator and Device? iPhone OS 3.0 and iPhone 2.x? I assume you've tried Build->Clean All Targets, Xcode->Quit Xcode, and restarting your Mac.
    There's a long list of other things we could check, but if it's only this one project that's broken, I would recommend starting a new project and moving all your source code into the new project. I had to do this once with a nearly complete app because of a similar, mysterious disintegration of my project. Despite my frustration at being unable to isolate the cause, the process went smoothly and took less than two hours. I could have worked faster, but I was trying to rebuild and run at various stages to be sure the project was still clean. I would recommend this, even if you need to make some stub classes to get a subset of the project to link.
    Backing all your files into a new project is strong medicine, but it's likely to work. A re-install of the SDK is no day at the beach either, since you need to carefully clean out the previous installation. If you make a mistake in the cleanup, the new installation may fail, leaving you with two problems: a broken project plus a broken environment.
    Of course if I misunderstood, and you can't even compile a template now, a re-install might be the only choice.
    Hope some part of the above is helpful!
    \- Ray

    I believe my it guys have php on their server. When I look on the internet
    to try and use the form to test it, I get the error:
    The website cannot display the page
    HTTP 500
    Most likely causes:
    The website is under maintenance.
    The website has a programming error.
    What you can try:
    Refresh the page.
    Go back to the previous page.
    Here's one php code I have linked to one of my documents:

    * Read This First
    * ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    *  This script is very well documented and quite large!  It looks daunting,
    *  but really isn't.
    *  If you have experience with PHP or other scripting languages,
    *  here's what you *need* to read:
    *      - Configuration (TARGET_EMAIL & DEF_ALERT)
    *      - Creating Forms
    *  That's it!  (Alternatively, just read the Quick Start and/or
    *  Quicker Start section below).
    *  Full configuration documentation is here:
    *      http://www.tectite.com/fmdoc/index.php
    * Purpose:
    * ~~~~~~~~
    *  To accept information from an HTML form via HTTP and mail it to recipients.
    * What does this PHP script do?
    * ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    *  On your web site, you may have one or more HTML forms that accept
    *  information from people visiting your website.  Your aim is for your
    *  website to email that information to you and/or add it to a database.
    *  FormMail performs those functions.
    * Quick Start
    * ~~~~~~~~~~~
    *  1. Edit this file and set TARGET_EMAIL for your requirements (near
    *      line 235 in this file - replace "yourhost\.com" with your mail server's
    *      name).  We also strongly recommend you set DEF_ALERT (the next
    *      configuration below TARGET_EMAIL).
    *  2. Install this file as formmail.php (or other name ending in .php)
    *     on your web server.
    *  3. Create an HTML form and:
    *      - specify a hidden field called "recipients" with the email address
    *        of the person to receive the form's results.
    *      - in the your form tag set the action attribute to
    *        the formmail.php you uploaded to your web server
    *  Once you have FormMail working, you may be interested in some advanced
    *  usage and features.  We have HOW-TO guides at www.tectite.com which
    *  describe many of the advanced processing you can do with FormMail.
    *      http://www.tectite.com/fmhowto/guides.php
    * Quicker Start
    * ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    *  Use the FormMail Configuration Wizard here:
    *      http://www.tectite.com/wizards/fmconf.php
    *  By answering a few questions you'll get a configured FormMail and
    *  a sample HTML form ready to upload and use on your server.
    * Features
    * ~~~~~~~~
    *  For a list of features go to: http://www.tectite.com/formmailpage.php
    * Security
    * ~~~~~~~~
    *  Security is the primary concern in accepting data from your website
    *  visitors.
    *  Tectite FormMail has several security features designed into it.  Note,
    *  however, it requires configuration for your particular web site.
    * Configuration
    * ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    *  To configure this script, go to the section titled "CONFIGURATION"
    *  (after reading the legal stuff below).
    *  There is only one mandatory setting: TARGET_EMAIL
    *  and one strongly recommended setting: DEF_ALERT
    *  Full configuration information is available here:
    *      http://www.tectite.com/fmdoc/index.php

  • FPGA Compile error and cannot find the compilation server

    Hi,
    My name is Bonghun. I recently installed the Labview 2011; previously, I installed 2010 and Labview worked very well.
    I am using a Compact Rio (cRIO 9022 and chassis 9114).
    I installed Labview 2011, Real time and FPGA modules including crio 4.0, Xilinx 10.1 and 12.4.
    When I compile a FPGA.vi, it doesn't compile FPGA.vi.
    Labview requests the message which ask to select compile server. After selecting the local compile server, Labview
    requests at each step again and again.
    Error number is Error - 123002. occured at niFpgaCompileFarm_OpenJob.vi
    I tried to remove all programs and re-install several times but still I could not find the solution.
    Please help me and let me know what is problem in my system.
    Thank you.

    Trouble in compile.ppt ‏179 KB

    I am having this issue with LabVIEW 2012 running in Windows XP on a PXI-1042Q to run an FPGA on cRIO-9075.
    I had no problem running through the process on my office PC with the same Software/Modules/Drivers installed. Compiler ran without problems.
    I ported my project over to the PXI Chassis and cannot compile because CompileWorker closes right after intermediate files finish generating. I am using Local Server and all the necessary modules including Xilinx are installed (I uninstalled EVERYTHING and did a complete reinstall also and still get the same result).
    When the Compilation Status Window comes up, it says Attempting to connect to compile server and CompileWorker immediately says it has Encountered a Problem and needs to close. The Compilation status Window gives me a message saying:
    "LabVIEW FPGA: The compilation cannot be performed by the compile worker. The compile worker may be configured incorrectly for this compilation, or it may be in an error state."
    I also tried making a new project with a simple FPGA VI and tried compiling and got the same results.
    Any thoughts?

  • I have this error that i cannot fix and i have no idea what causes it

    I downloaded and installed a version of the JDK (version 1.3 actually) and something in the software had a bug that would not recognize java command line class files. i would try to run a perfectly good java class that works on other computers and i would get this error:
    Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: (name of class)
    I tried uninstalling and reinstalling a copy of the JDK that i know works because I've installed it on other computers, and that didn't work. I wanted to email java tech support but they have no such thing. I need to have this working because I am taking a class on java and it is rather annoying to not be able to do assignments on my own computer. i can run applets fine, but i also can't compile properly. it gives me errors for compiling (again, testing on another computer). Another error is when I compile a program that imports classes it does not recognize the "import" declaration and does not compile the program since it does not recognize any of the outside references.
    Also i got the JKD through another website, but it was linked to sun's website. I burned it onto a cd and installed it from there. If anyone knows what my problem could possibly be, and how to fix it, please let me know.

    OK, i tried fixing the classpath but that did not help. It's not the class name because i know you're supposed to type "java ClassName" if the name of the class is ClassName. I also cannot compile a program that calls other classes, because I get a compiler error that they can't be found. My latest error is in compiling an applet and the setBackground and setSize methods can't be found. Yes, i am importing java.awt and java.applet.Applet.
    I have a suspicion that the problem may be in a .dll file (i know it sounds nutty but i found the name of the file once and I can't find the file again. ). again, if anyone knows what the problem could possibly be let me know.

  • Page cannot be displayed error in Communication channel monitoring

    Hi,
    when i am trying to click on Communication channel monitoring from RWB it shows me the error " Page cannot be displayed".
    I am testing this for the for the first time in QA environment.
    But in development , CC monitoring works fine in the same Laptop.
    I have checked the hosts file and it has the IP address and system name present in it.
    i have checked in my collegues laptop and it opens there, but it doesn't open in my laptop.
    we are using PI 7.0, windows XP and IE 7.0.
    Could anyone help to solve this problem?
    Thanks
    JJ

    I am able to open the communciation channel if i am using the path http://<full qualified host>:<http port>/mdt/channelmonitorservlet
    This means that there is a problem in the host file....the changes are not getting reflected.....did you log-ff and then again login?
    instead of the FQDN you can also open the page using the IP address of the server.
    I am really sorry I am unable to give you points, since the Star icon is not displaying in the browser to award points
    This may be because you did not mark the thread as a question
    Regards,
    Abhishek.

    Start the "BEA Ali Logger service" on your portal server machine. Then when the problem occurs you can analyze \bea\alui\ptlogging\logs\portal\portalserver-log.spy to find out more information about what might be causing the problem. You can also set up a wireshark network capture log using the ringbuffer mode which lets you collect logs in a loop. This way if there are network issues you can find out about that too. If you're not comfortable setting these up or analyzing them an oracle support engineer can assist you if you open a case.

    Hi All,
    Thanks for all your help.
    Seems I already found out the issue.
    Since we are using "Personal Home Page" for the system profile option "Self Service Personal Home Page Mode" I checked oracle note and found out
    that 11i did not support this mode. Maybe this is the problem that is why we are getting page cannot be displayed error when only 1 responsibility is active.
    The way to fix this, is to use mode 'Framework Only' instead of 'Personal Home Page' as Oracle are phasing out mod_plsql based UI and it will not be present in future releases. No maintenance is being performed (i.e. bug fixes) to the mod_plsql based UI technology.
    Please check this note for more clearer explanation:
    Is The 'Personal Home Page' Mode Supported In Oracle 11i Applications? [ID 368628.1]
    Again, thank you for your help!
