Compilations works differently on i-phone vs i-pad???

I have "compilations" set to off on my i-tunes so that all my artists are listed, even when they only have an individual track on a compilation.
When using my i-pod, albums with various artists still show as one album.
However, in the i-phone, when I download exactly the same music, a various artist album is shown as multiple albums (for each individual track) rather then just one album. This therefore makes it very difficult to scroll through my albums on my i-phone.
Is there any way I can get the i-phone to do the same as my i-pod - i.e. list compilations as just one album?

The AirPorts do come with a CD that includes the required base station administration software (AirPort Utility) for both Macs and PCs; not sure why yours did not come with one.
In order to enable wireless security, you would need to use this AirPort Utility to do so. ref: AirPort Utility > Select the AirPort > Manual Setup > AirPort > Wireless tab > Wireless Security
I would recommend setting Wireless Security = WPA2 Personal for the best possible level of wireless security.

Is itunes match turned on? If so, try holding shift key whilst turning off match.
Now turn match back on, signing in with the apple ID that you used to set up match. You will be asked to add this computer, do so. Once process complete you should see all the music you have in cloud.

Embed + compiler define works different with air 3.7+ comparing to 3.5

I've noticed that new compiler works differently when using construct Embed with conditional compilation (comoiler define option).
It looks like new compiler always embeds files in output swf even if Embed construct is used in dead code. Here is full example:

I have 2 files: foo.mp3 (~2MB) and bar.mp3 (~2.3MB). I want to embed only one of them defining CONFIG::FOO as true and CONFIG::BAR as false.
When I compile it using AIR 3.5 with following command I get (as expected) file with size ~2.0MB:

Is it expected behaviour? Is there any chance that new compiler will work in this case the same as older one?

Another difference I encountered is that using compiler definition directly in Embed construction doesn't work. Here is example:

With AIR 3.5 SDK it works fine. With AIR 3.7, 3.8 and 4.0 beta I'm getting file which is smaller in size (by mp3 file size) and when running I get error: TypeError: Error #1007: Instantiation attempted on a non-constructor. (when it tries to create new instance of MusicTrack).

Flash CS6 Pro and i-Phone and i-Pad

Can anybody direct me to an interactive Flash game, produced in CS6 Pro, that is working on the i-Phone or i-Pad i.e. screen pressure input. I'm thinking of upgrading but really need to know that it works.

Can I de-compile Air to work on an Android phone without installing the Adobe Air player?

I have created an android app in FLASH, I would like to test it on my phone however, it does not support the Air player! Is there a way to de-compile the files so that the app will work on an android phone without having to run Adobes Air player?

I had recently added an app update and the app was showing install in windows phone 8.1 devices. Originally the previous version of the app was available in the phone. The app update that was published was showing as a install instead of update.
Windows phone 8 devices worked well although. Can you please explain why it is behaving differently on windows phone 8.1

I saw that article. The problem is CurrentAppSimulator does not resolve in my code. So even adding the needed .xml file does not help because I cannot call

If you did not erase your apps and data before getting rid of your old phone, try using Find My Phone and erasing everything remotely. See if this works.

Downgrade Lion to Snow Leopard
1. Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer Disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area. If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing. SMART info will not be reported on external drives. Otherwise, click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
4. Quit DU and return to the installer. Install Snow Leopard.
This will erase the whole drive so be sure to backup your files if you don't have a backup already. If you have performed a TM backup using Lion be aware that you cannot restore from that backup in Snow Leopard (see below.) I suggest you make a separate backup using Carbon Copy Cloner 3.4.1.
If you have Snow Leopard Time Machine backups, do a full system restore per #14 in Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions. If you have subsequent backups from Lion, you can restore newer items selectively, via the "Star Wars" display, per #15 there, but be careful; some Snow Leopard apps may not work with the Lion files.

Do Flash Player runtime and AIR runtime work differently?

This question is asked as a follow up from a recent discussion, http://forums.adobe.com/message/6260447#6260447, regarding how getObjectsUnderPoint() works. The discussion was marked as correct as the answer provided by kglad was correct for the question asked.
But, the problem that led to that thread was not solved, as from the tests done, the issue was not from the method but from the runtimes. With the sample code given by kglad, the compiled swf file was working as intended by kglad. But the same code was not if compiled and packaged to AIR runtime.
Thus the question, do Flash Player runtime and AIR runtime work differently? Or again, that I simply missed out something?

I'm also using Safari 6.0.1 and I don't have this problem, so I doubt Safari's causing the problem.
Have you tried uninstalling flash completely and then reinstall? If you haven't, here's Adobe's instructions on how to do so: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-mac-os.html

If it is unlocked it will work if you get a SIM from the carrier you will be using. Note that Apple does not and cannot unlock phones. Only the carrier it is presently locked to can unlock it.

LV2013 FPGA Linux Compile Worker errors (Xilinx 14.4)

Hi,
Until today, we had a nice working LV2012 Win7 and Xilinx 13.4 Linux Worker remote compilation system.
Necessity mandated an upgrade to LV2013 FPGA for Win7. Which mandated a Linux distro upgrade to RH6.3x64 per the documentation.
Now, our FPGA code won't compile successfully on the Linux Worker 14.4 x64, but will succeed on Win7 local worker.
Enclosed are our xilinx.log file and a terminal capture .txt of the compilation errors from Linux Compile Worker run.
Installation had no errors or warnings, and the Linux Compile Worker connects to the Win7 Server successfully.
Please help, as without this optimization our code compile times are 2-3x longer.
Our FPGA is NI-7962 FPGA (Vertex 5)

We went through my friend's phone and my daughter's email and phone number are not in it. I have never given my daughter's iphone number to my friend. Is it something to do with gmail or my apple id? My daughter (14) has been using my computer as her "base" for HER Iphone.
My friend does use her iphone number as an email address as well.
For instance: her phone number might look like this: (493) 305-3958
and her email address would look like this: [email protected]
If I Iphone/email my friend, she receives it as a text message. Then if she replies to that text message, it goes to my daughter's phone and not mine. It's completely crazy! We searched her phone contacts and did not find my daughter's phone number anywhere or attached anywhere to mine. Since when does Iphone emailing wind up in the text messaging area?

I do have a questiion. I started the most recent iOS update on my iPhone last night and before it was ever completed a message appeared on my screen. It is a pic of the docking/charging cord with an arrow pointing to an iTunes logo...HELP!!!!! Try this:
Make sure your iPhone is fully updated.
Restart your iPhone
Do NOT open the app, just delete it
Reset your iPhone (hold down sleep/wake and home buttons simultaneously until you see an apple logo, then release the buttons)
Readd the app
Open the app and test.
If that doesn't resolve the issue, then it may be an issue with the app itself and you might have to contact the app's developer.
