Compiler error on code

Question

public static void main(String[] args) // Main method
      GUIA testRun = new GUIA();   // Create object
      testRun.setVisible(true);       // Make window visible
   }I'm getting the compiler error 'Cannot find symbol method setVisible(boolean)
Does anyone have any ideas?

does GUIA class has setVisible(boolean b) method?
or
Does it extend the JFrame, JDialog etc?
class GUIA extends JFrame {
