Compiling C++ program with C++ development pack in Netbeans!!!

Hi,
I have Netbeans 5.5 BETA with C/C++ Dev Pack installed.
I am new to Netbeans IDE and trying to use it in Windows XP environment with cygwin installed. I can't get this thing work for C++ compiling.
1. I added "C:\cygwin\bin" (my cygwin directory) to my PATH variable and rebooted.
2. If I start cygwin.exe and compile the same sample programs (HelloApp.cc or Welcome.cc) provided with Netbeans IDE, they compile well and work (ran the exe files under DOS prompt) well too.
3. However, when I try to use Netbeans to compile using the Makefiles supplied along with the source code, it fails with the following message. Can anybody help with this thing? It's really frustrating...

I need to compile a program for win with whatever open cross compiler, I tried mingw32-g++, with the following command>
i486-mingw32-g++ main.cpp main.h `/usr/i486-mingw32/bin/wx-config --libs` `/usr/i486-mingw32/bin/wx-config --cxxflags` -o test.exe
but now my program depends on the dll lib mingwm10.dll which kind a sucks cause my goal is to have one executable file.
Is there any other compiler or a command switch to make a static binary ?

Ok, I did searched that, and I come up with this.
Which means I need to remove the -mthread option, there is only one problem, if I compile like this>

Not able to compile my program

Sorry to post a very basic question in this forum, but I am very new to java, and I have just installed J2SDK in my system, which is having Windows 2000 Professional (OS). My question is in which directory (path).... we need to save our (.java) programs... if we have to compile it at C prompt ?, as it is not compiling my program with javac command. I included the bin path in control panel > environments tab, but it didn't help me.

ahhh simple... windows processes pick up the PATH (et al) a process creation time... close cmd and try again.
... and you DO NOT put .java programs in the java system bin directory. That's just sooooo silly it's not funny!
append :. (colon dot) to the CLASSPATH... classes with no package will compile and run in the present working directory.

I was unable to reproduce the behavior that you saw. I was able to deploy my application with the Linear Fit PtByPt without issues.
Could you attach the smallest piece of code that reproduces this behavior so that I can test it as well?

I'm trying to compile a population genetic software program onto my Mac Lion. It was originally compiled to Tiger and worked beautifully. But now I'm getting an error 'library not found for -lglut', and now I'm trying to figure out how to download the library. I've installed the command line code for Xcode, and am thinking I possibly missed installing the libraries. I could be very wrong here... all I know is that I'm no longer near the people I would ask to help me with this so I'm asking you! Thanks in advance for any help! I guess my questions are: 1) where can I download the glut (potentially OpenGL) libraries (if I don't have them already)? And 2) once downloaded, how do I install it so the makefile will compile my program (in terminal, not Xcode)? Cheers,

Problem with compiling STL using program with Forte C++ 6 update 1 in compat mode

I try to compile SGI STL using program with Forte C++ 6 update 1 and I get an errror

I experienced the same problem and the solution looks like the following: in sunpro6.mak file there is a variable STL_INCL that has the following value: -I. -I${PWD}/../stlport
Change that to -I. -I${PWD}/../stlport/SC5 and the problem vanishes. The reason is that stlport/SC5 contains files *.SUNWCCh which are used by SUNpro C++ compiler as standard headers and contain correct STLPort namespace information.

Program with generics compiles without -source 1.5 but doesn't run.

This could probably be considered a bug in J2SE1.5 beta 1.
A program with generics that is compiled with JDK 1.5 beta1 without the "-source 1.5" option behaves oddly: it compiles but sometimes fails to execute. It shouldn't behave like that. It should fail in the compilation, with a complaint about using the wrong version of the language.
This odd behaviour doesn't always occur! In the small program below, I get that behaviour when using the EnumSet.range method.
If I only use the basic EnumSet, it does executes.

but the problem is supppose i have a excel sheet with 16 rows and 13 columns(so data).
i am placing this file contents to appserver USING ABOVE fm.
after that i am reading the file from appserver to create SO(idoc),i need 1row-3column data and 2row-2c data.like that.
in unix we will get row data(after uploading to app server) as #mprn#2345# like this so easy to separate when reading.but in MS NT OS 1row data getting stored in different rows in Appserver.so difficult to read.
so the above mentioned FM is OS dependent or is there any way (any other FM) to get same kind of data in different OS.
PLEASE SUGGEST OTHER WISE I NEED TO CODE BASED ON OS.

Trying to compile a GUI program with ActionEvent and Color/Graphics

Hey, I am trying to compile a program that where I press a button it designs/displays a picture. I have the first part that shows the button, but I can''t get the second part of it. Any suggestions on what to do? Here is the part of the code that I am unsure about, the idea is to get that to design a picture:

DB2 8.1 to Oracle 11g with SQL Developer 3.0

Hi,
I started migrating my DB2 8.1 to Oracle 11g, with SQL Developer 3.0
Basically, I need to migrate TABLES.
I followed these steps:
1) I created a new Oracle database, tablespaces, users, etc.
2) Then, I created both (DB2 and Oracle) connections into SQL Developer 3.0. All works fine.
3) I start capturing one table with the "Copy to Oracle" feature. Done with no errors.
But when I compare the table structure, I see the following problems in Oracle:
a) All fields are NULLABLE = YES. SQL Developer show this field property correctly in DB2: NULLABLE = NO, but not migrated the same!
SOLUTION: All I want is that SQL Developer simply migrating the same value who I have in the DB2. But how?
b) In DB2 I have one field property called COLUM DEFAULT. In Oracle this property is called DATA_DEFAULT. The SQL Developer show this field property correctly for the DB2 tables (for example: 0.0, ' ', etc), but don't migrated the same value! All fields are configured to DATA_DEFAULT = NULL.
SOLUTION: I think this occurs because NULLABLE is migrated with the value YES. Well, all I need is the same above...
NOTE: I tested the SWISSQL DATA MIGRATION software, and it works fine. All tables, field properties and data are migrated sucessfull. But this program is trial version!
Well, I think all of this are BUGS into SQL Developer.

Did you 'Compile'the procedure? until you compile the procedure you can't debug it.
I just created a new procedure and when I select the body it displays in the 'Code' window on the right. But the 'Debug' icon is not enabled because the procedure was not compiled for debug.
When I compile it for debug the 'Debug' icon is now enabled.

Help! Running Fortran program with Xcode

Hi all,
I am developing a Fortran code for a class project, I understand Matlab, but very little of advanced programming like Fortran or C++, but have to learn some for my class (note: it is not a programming class). The professor gave us a code to run and modify it, the code is supposed to work (and in fact it is working on windows computers). I didn't know how to run Fortran on a mac so I followed the instructions given in these links:

I installed Xcode 2.4, and gfortran. After I made my Project on Xcode (following the links above), I clicked Build and it was successful, but after I clicked Build and Go I got the following error:

I don't know what does that mean. Can anyone help me with this?
I would like some easy-to-follow instructions to run a Fortran program with Xcode, starting from the basics.
It is hard to find an easy compiler for mac, PC people have qFortran (for free at at school) and things like that where you just have to click compile and that is it.

I'd need to see your code to give details, but the error you got says you declared an array with a certain number of elements and then you tried to talk to the array outside those elements.
For example you say:
integer myArray(5)
and then try to index either myArray(0) or myArray (6).
Does that make sense. I have never tried to get fortran working with Xcode, but I did get Pascal working, so it is probably better is someone else helps you, but I will try if no one steps up.

Uninstall Java Web Services Developer Pack 1.2

Hi. I have installed Java Web Services Developer Pack 1.2, for XML programming with JAXP. But the new Java Web Services Developer Pack don't meet my needs. I need the previous JAXP software to do my programs. Now I try to uninstall Java Web Services Developer Pack, but I have an error: "The wizard cannot continue because of the following error: could not load wizard specified in /wizard.inf (104)".
I use Windows XP Home Edition. What can I do to uninstall this programs? (Its size is 388MB and I have to install the old version of JAXP)

but with uninstaller.exe don't work, it return the same error. I install JWSDP without Apache Tomcat container because I've already installed it before. I tried also to install again JWSDP, but the result is the same. My installation tree is:
