Compiling program VC++ (and ComponentWork++) in release's mode with static library ...

When i try to compil the program, there are conflicts between "nafxcw.lib" and an other library. The conflicts doesn't exist when i compil the program with shared library. Can you help me ?
my OS is Windows NT 4.0
thanks

Which "other library" does nafxcw.lib conflict with? Nafxcw.lib is an mfc library and is not distributed with Componentworks++.
When you say the conflict does not exist when you use the shared library, are you talking about the selection in the Measurement Studio App Wizard where it asks how you want to access the mfc library? What exactly is the conflict that you get?
In general I would always select to use the mfc library as a shared dll, because it is a known issue to statically link the library into any arbitrary project, not just a Componentworks++ project.

  • Help please - have a Nano and a Shuffle and neither are working! The Nano wheel appears to have stopped working - I can't get it to do anything. I've done the reset,it worked the first time but not since. And the shuffle won't sync with my library!

    Hi,
    I have an iPod shuffle 4th generation and an iPod Nano 5th generation . The Nano wheel appears to have stopped working - I can't get it to play or anything. I've done the reset and it worked the first time, but now the only way I can get it to play anything is to shake it and go with the shuffle choices - I can't change volume, song, pause or turn it off.
    So, I decided to start using the Shuffle which I was given as a present last year. I've plugged it into my laptop (running windows 8 and newest version of iTunes). It appears in iTunes on the left hand side, but when I click to sync (whether I tick sync all or choose artists) it says synched but has no music. It seems to not be linked to the music library - when I tick synch all songs, next to the "sync music" it says 0 songs?
    Any help to fix either would be really appreciated - I'm without any music at the moment and I'm going away this weekend!
    Thanks

  • Downloaded itunes 10.2 and it says ipod is synced with another library??

    Any help?

    As far as the iPod know your restored computer is a new computer/new library.  If everything that is on your iPod is in the library on your restored computer let iTunes erase you iPod and replace its contents with what is now in your iTunes library.  If you have the iPod backup from your pre-restored iPod, you can restore your iPod from that backup to get your app data and other things back.  See the following fro the location of the backup file and what is in the backup.

  • Object loaded and saved with Read and Write Datalog are not compatible with packed library

    Hi all,
    I often use packed libraries to distribute my software.
    My problem is the following:
    I save a LabVIEW object of a class (MyClass) that is not included in a packed library using "Write datalog" (for example saved file is MyObject.dat).
    If I load MyObject.dat using "Read Datalog" but using "MyCLass" saved in packed library as "Record type", Read Datalog generates an error or anyway loaded data is inconsistent.
    In other word, if I save an object using as "Record Type" MyClass not included in a packed library and then I load saved file using the MyClass included in a packed library, file cannot be loaded.
    Can you help me?
    Thank all

    I think you are running into an issue created by namespacing.
    Point is, that lvlib as well as lvlibp create a level of namespacing:
    I would expect that level of namespaces being part of the datalog file.
    So essentially, if the class is not encapsulated in the very same namespace when reading in which it was written, it should fail with exactly the error you are describing.

    1. You did not get an error message telling you that your iPhoto library was getting full. You got a message telling you that your HD was getting full, right?
    OS X needs about 10 gigs of hard drive space for normal OS operations - things like virtual memory, temporary files and so on.
    Without this space your Mac will slow down as the OS hunts for space on the disk, files will be fragmented, also slowing things down, apps will crash and the risk of data corruption - that is damage to your files, photos, music - increases exponentially.
    Your first priority is to make more space on that HD. Nothing else can be done until you do.
    Purchase an external HD and move your Photos and Music to it. Both iPhoto and iTunes can run perfectly well with the Library on an external disk.
    Your Library has been damaged from being run on an overfull disk.
    How much free space on it now?

  • Problems with itunes library and order of tracks

    Hello,
    I downloaded the new update, and I'm having a problem with my library when accessed from the browser. Before itunes 7, my tracks were in order that they appeared on the album, now they are in alphabetical order. Is there a way to make it go back the way it was before the update--in order by track number?
    thanks.
    chris

    I was having the same problem and I knew there had to be an easy answer. I knew it for sure when I saw your topic unanswered. Just right click, or control click on the bar where it says name, album, genre, etc. and select "track number," this will give you the option to put them in their original order.
    You can also access this under "view options" in the view pull down menu.

    In that case you should probably check that no other packages are missing files with
    pacman -Qkk 2>&1 | grep "No such file or directory"
    Any packages that report that they're missing files, you should reinstall.

  • LV 8 problem with New Report.vi in compiled program

    I'm a novice LV programmer trying to finish my first project.  The project is the automation of an air flow stand using field point for acquisition/control.  Have the code written and everything seems to work fine until I compile.  Specifically, I get an error when I attempt to open an Excel template (XLT) using the New Report.vi included in the report generation add on.  When the compiled executable run I get a message with the header "Error 7 occured at Open VI reference in New Report vi>report2.vi>auto air flow testing.vi .   And then in the body of the message is says:
    Possible reason(s):
    LabVIEW:  File not found. The file might have been moved or deleted, or the file path might be incorrectly formatted for the operating system. For example, use \ as path separators on Windows, : on Mac OS, and / on Linux.
    NI-488:  Non-existent board.
    VI Path: C:\builds\auto air flow\My Application\auto air flow 1a.exe\Excel_Open.vi
    Built Application or Shared Library (DLL): Make sure all dynamically loaded VIs were properly included in the build specification for the application or shared libr
    The input to the New Report.vi template connector is C:\Air Flow Data Files\templates\psc.xlt.  Again this works in design so I believe the formatting is correct and the file does exist.
    Why would this work in design environment but not the compiled program?  I recompiled several times and even tried reinstalling the report generation tool kit. Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated. I will be happy to supply more info if necessary.   thanks.

    Okay, I found the solution by doing a search here on 'Error 7".  My thanks to those who have posted the solution in the past.  Regards

  • Error while compiling program unit

    Hi All,
    I am working on oracle forms 10g.
    I am getting an error "wrong no or types of arguments in call to 'COUNTCDRSTODELETE' ", while trying to compile my program unit.
    The extract of my program unit is as written below:
    PROCEDURE CALL_PCK_BACKOUT IS
    -- type bmpf_id_arr is varray(100) of bmp_files.bmpf_id%type;
    type bmpf_id_arr is varray(100) of integer;
    id_arr bmpf_id_arr := bmpf_id_arr();
    file_cnt number := 0;
    BEGIN
    GO_BLOCK('B_FILE');
    first_record;
    LOOP
         --     EXIT WHEN :SYSTEM.RECORD_STATUS='NEW';
              IF UPPER(:B_FILE.FILE_ON_OFF_IND) = 'Y' THEN

         go_item('b_ctrl.file_name');
         RAISE FORM_TRIGGER_FAILURE;
    end if;
    if file_cnt > 0 then
    commit;
    end if;
    -- check if the backout request has been accepted or not
    if pck_backout.CountCDRStodelete(id_arr,file_cnt) = 0 and pck_backout.AreallCDRSOpen(id_arr,file_cnt) = 0 then
         msg_alert('Backout request can be scheduled for the selected input','E',FALSE);
    elsif     pck_backout.CountCDRStodelete(id_arr,file_cnt) != 0 and pck_backout.AreallCDRSOpen(id_arr,file_cnt) != 0 then
         msg_alert('Backout request has been rejected due to maximum number of cdrs exceeded and not all cdrs belonging to open invoices','E',FALSE);
         RAISE FORM_TRIGGER_FAILURE;
    elsif     pck_backout.CountCDRStodelete(id_arr,file_cnt) != 0 then

         msg_alert('Backout request has been rejected due to not all cdrs belonging to open invoices','E',FALSE);
         RAISE FORM_TRIGGER_FAILURE;
    end if;
    END;
    pck_backout is a stored database package. The definition of two functions used above is as given below:
    FUNCTION countcdrstodelete (
    p_bmpf_id_array IN pkarray,
    p_batch_size IN NUMBER
    RETURN NUMBER;
    FUNCTION areallcdrsopen (p_bmpf_id_array IN pkarray, p_batch_size IN NUMBER)
    RETURN NUMBER;
    where pkarray is defined as :
    TYPE pkarray IS VARRAY (100) OF INTEGER;
    Can anyone please tell me why i am getting wronf type or no of arguments error while calling the databse functions.
    I guess, it has to do with the varray field. Can you please tell me if i am using any wrong syntax??
    I request all the forms gurus to please help me with this.

    Hi Fabrio,
    I solved my problem.
    I'd to actually define pkarray as sql type rather than PL/SQL type.
    It's because oracle forms wasn't able to bind the varray defined locally in program unit with the varray defined in stored PL/SQL function.
    Once i created pkarray as sql type and removed the declaration of varray in program unit and PL/SQL code, it worked.
    Thanks for your reply though.
    Regards,
    Navnit

  • Storing integers in a compiled program

    I would am wriitng a program and I would like to generate a unique number for each time a users uses the compiled program, is it possible to store previously incremented numbers i.e. the last person who used this program got a print out number of 5. The next person to use this program would then get the number 6 etc etc? At the moment I have only been made familiar to coding in Java in a sort of runtime environment only.
    An example of my thinking could be like so:
    private int mynumber=1;
    I woould then like to be able to set a new number most probably by creating a set method like so:
    public int setMyNumber(int mynumber){
    mynewnumber = mynumber+1;
    return mynewnumber;
    ...... then in my main method I would like to return this new number. Please note this may not actually work but just giving you an idea of my thinking.
    : )

  • Compiling Packages, Functions, and Procedures Issues

    If you are in the editor for a package and attempt to compile a know good package under another schema (compiled in SQL+ and Toad), you receive the following errors:
    Error(21,5): PLW-06002: Unreachable code
    Error(131,7): PLW-07202: bind type would result in conversion away from column type
    (122) TN_EXISTS NUMBER := 0;
    (131) IF TN_EXISTS > 0 THEN ...
    When commenting a line with if you have something like the following it tells you there is a syntax error
    -- some comment here --
    When compiling a PL/SQL function that returns a Boolean, you get this error: Error(40,4): PLW-06002: Unreachable code

    Kris,
    I seem to have the same problem.
    Is there a way to 'deactivate' this behaviour, or do we need to wait for another Raport Release.
    This is basically preventing me from using Raptor at all for any PL/SQL development ;-(

  • Compiling for Windows and Java

    Hi All
    This is a deff newbie question. Basically i have a program that will compile in Windows, but if I try and compile it in Linux (CentOS) then I get 48 errors all related to graphics of constructors.
    It was my understanding that Java was meant to be platform independent, or is that just a myth?
    Is there any way that i can resolve this, or find a tool that will show me what wont compile under linux and why?
