Complaints Error Message

Dear friends,
When using the transaction "complaint" from interaction record in IC there is an error message when choosing the categories in the complaint which is "Cannot send alert message to browser" so how can i fix this error.
Best Regards,
Mohamed

Hi ,
maybe that this message can be caused by wrong/or missing SSL settings.
So lets have a look on Note 510007: Setting up SSL on Web Application Server ABAP.

  • Error message: "Cannot send alert message to browser" on Rule Policy

    Hi Experts.
Have anybody experience with the error message "Cannot send alert message to browser" on Rule Policies? The condition-check of the rule is working fine. But the error message shown appears in the web UI Similar exception on Complaints Error Message but no answer. Is it possible that the SSL settings are responsible for that error message? Any ideas? Thanks a lot!
    Regards
    Tobias

    Hi Leon,
    thanks for you fast response!
    - The method "send_alert_message" has thrown following exception
"Exception: An exception (CX_SAM_MESSAGING_EXCEPTION) occurred. Message no. TPDA430."
    on that line of code: line 91: sam_sender->send_to_client( message = sam_message ).
    I looked inside:
    - In the method "_SEND (CL_SAM_SESSION_QUEUE_SENDER)"
    line 101:   http_client->receive(  EXCEPTIONS http_communication_failure = 1 ... )
The sy-subrc will be set to 1.
    I looked inside:
    - In the method "IF_HTTP_CLIENT~RECEIVE (CL_HTTP_CLIENT)"
    line 885: reason = response->get_header_field( 'sap-icmclnterror' ).
Here the "reason" will  be set to "Native SSL Error".
Any ideas how to solve this problem?
    Thanks a lot.

  • GIANT complaint - apps freeze, fatal error message, unable to restore

I don't know where to complain, so I'm just doing it here. I went to the apple store to resolve my problems, and whatever they did only fixed them for about a day. They came back the very next day.
I'm not sure I can articulate just how much I hate my iPhone since July 2008. I came to rely on it for google maps, the internet, my e-mail, etc. And now, ever since that super crappy update I can't rely on it for anything. Maps works about 25% of the time, and all of the applications freeze and don't work. I used to love this thing and now I just want to throw it out a window. I keep getting a fatal error message when I try to upgrade to the 2.0.2 as well... and it won't install... so I can't even do a restore of the phone. By the way, I have restored my phone about once a week every week since the big upgrade in July, which seems to prevent the applications from crashing for at least a few days. I can use this thing as an iPod, as a text messaging tool, and as a phone. The rest of the features, since July, have come to be completely useless to me as I can't rely on them.

    Here is the key.
Do not use the App store within the iPhone to buy or update Apps. It will brick your iPhone. It will cause all sorts of instability with the rest of the OS.
    Use iTunes for that purpose.

  • Drive restriction group policy causes error message when accessing Open and Save As Dialog Boxes on Windows 8.1

We are running Windows 8.1 Pro x86
I am really curious as to why the drive restriction group policy causes the error message to pop up:
"This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator."
It does not prevent from actual saving so functionality is not lost but it really annoys our end users and we're getting a lot of complaints. We cannot use the workaround of hiding drives instead of restricting as this still presents security issues. This
is happens when saving (or clicking on a button like "Browse" that opens the 'Open' dialogue box) in all Office 2013 applications, Internet Explorer, Paint, Notepad, and probably most others. I've looked at many forums and no suggestions for workarounds
have succeeded for us to get rid of this error message and in fact, I read a post that stated that someone contacted Microsoft and they said this was by design and there is no workaround. I find this very unfortunate that we either have the choice of compromising
security or annoying our end users. It seems to me like the new dialogue box in Windows 8.1 (and maybe 8?) attempts to access the local drive under the logged in user's account before it actually opens up the dialogue box which conflicts with the group policy
that restricts access to the drive.
Has anyone at all had any luck getting this to go away without removing the restrictions? It seems like the answer is either buried in the Windows code or somewhere in the registry.
Thank you in advance for your time!

Thank you for your time and response! Unfortunately, we have the machine locked down pretty tight (they are public use computers that require heavy restriction) and it is set to restrict all drives so access is limited to the local profile. We did try
testing your method, however, by adding the Desktop as an allowed location in the Office policy (which would not solve the issue for the other applications but was good for a test) using the path %userprofile%\desktop. When choosing that location, it does
not throw the error but unfortunately, it does not remember like it did for your with the E: drive so it still always throws the error when first loading the dialogue box no matter what I do. If you're able to confirm that this is simply by design and we're
just expected to inform our users to click through the errors, then I guess that's the accepted answer. Although, do you think that there might be a registry key value that is set after you save to the E: drive for the first time? Maybe we could set that value
to %userprofile%\desktop if it's doing the redirection after the first save through registry. Thanks again!

  • Getting "layer break" error message when trying to Preview a single sided DVD, or build an ISO image or disk folder

Hi!  Hoping someone might be able to help with an odd problem.  I haven't found anything in the forums or the web that match my symptoms.
I've been using Encore CS6 (v6.0.1.013) on a MacBook retina over the past year to successfully create a number of single sided DVDs with menus, chapters, and all that.  I usually make a copy of a previous DVD project, and then replace video assets with the new files and transcodes, move and rename chapter markers, and rework the menus in Photoshop.  I then will build ISO images for both DVD and Blu-Ray (both single-sided), and use those to burn many copies of each DVD for clients.
This week, while developing one of these projects, when trying to build a DVD ISO image that looked like it would fit on a 4.7 GB DVD, I received the "layer break" message ("The chosen layer break does not satisfy dual layer requirements.  To fix this, either set a new layer break manually, or choose to set layer break automatically.") because (I'm guessing) the material was too long for the 4.7 GB DVD (the Build screen now shows about 5GB of material are in the project).  This is the first time I've seen that message - usually Encore just tells me the material is too big for the DVD.
I re-transcoded the material down to well under 4.7 GB (about 3.9 GB), reverted and replaced the transcoded files, and now the DVD build screen shows that there are about 700MB free on a 4.7 GB DVD.  But I still have not been able to build any version of the DVD (image, folder, disc), without getting the "layer break" message.  I also now get this same layer break message when trying to "Preview from Here" any menu, killing my ability to preview the DVD menus in Encore.
Just to see what would happen, I chose an 8.4GB Dual Layer DVD, and chose "manual" instead of "automatic" for the layer break selection, but never got the layer break selection dialog box, just the "layer break" error message.
I typically build both DVD and Blu-Ray images from the same material in the same project.  I use different transcoding settings for each, and I have been able to build a Blu-Ray ISO without this "layer break" error on the Blu-Ray build (which is about 24.5GB when built).  And as I mentioned before, this is the first project on which I've even seen this layer break message.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!  I'd rather not recreate the project from scratch, but I'm worried that I may have to.
    Thanks
    Jon

The total project being small enough may mean you have one layer that is too big. Both layers have to be smaller than half the disk, right?
Be sure you "run as administrator" for dual layer projects.
Encore may set the layer break correctly if it finds a good place, but there are numerous complaints about it being unreliable.
Build to a folder (no layer break is set), then use ImgBurn to build and ask to be prompted for layer break. ImgBurn is also unreliable under some circumstances.
The most frequent problems appear to be when there is no good location for a break. Do a search for "layer break imgburn" and you will see a variety of strategies.

Hi, I have a problem with Safari that is driving me mad. I have somehow installed a toolbar by accident, and can't seem to get rid of it it, and it is stoppping Safari from starting up. The application Safari quit unexpectedly. The problem may have been caused by the ct-plugins plug-in"
I've read the other posts about this and followed the advice, but still it happens. The full error message is below, I'm sure I'm just missing something hidden away in the depths of the computer somewhere, just can't find it, can anyone help, please!

HI and Welcome to Apple Discussions...
    "/Library/InputManagers/CTLoader/ctloader.bundle/Contents/MacOS/ctloader"
Go to */Library/Internet Plugins* and remove CTLoader.
There is a long list of complaints from Safari users with CT plugins.

If you have installed Vuze software, you may also see that error. Go here for help.

Make sure Safari is not running in Rosetta. Right or control click the Safari icon in your Applications folder then click Get Info. In the Get Info window click the black disclosure triangle so it faces down. Where you see Open using Rosetta... make sure that is NOT selected.

  • Error message:  Cannot sync songs purchased in iTunes to iTouch because computer is not authorized.  I go in and authorize computer (only computer I have ever used for iTunes), seems to be successful.  Then I try to sync again and it gives same error mesg

It just goes in a circle.  This computer not authorized to sync purchased songs to iTouch.  Follow directions to authorize computer, seems successful.  Sync again and it comes up with the same error message....this computer not authorized to sync iTune purchases to iTouch.  I have deauthorized the computer and reauthorized and it didn't make a difference.  I updated and restored to factory settings.  Still same error message.  I have had this problem the last 2 times I have synced.  Worked previously.  Any ideas??

additional info:  I looked into similar complaints.  1 suggested that something is wrong with the files.  Delete them off of computer and divice (but they are not on my divice anymore) and then download them again from iTunes purchase history.  Went in to check iTunes purchases to make sure the songs would be there if I did follow these steps.  Well, NONE of them are in my purchase history.....probably the real problem here.  I had an original iPod Nano and then upgraded to my current iTouch.....same computer for both.  Could there have been a problem at the point of switching over to the iTouch?  That doesn't make sence to me because it is through iTunes and it was the same account for both.  I thought I'd be smart and put all the songs in a playlist and burn to a CD and them load them back in that way.....but I was not authorized to burn to a CD....go figure.  Any idease would be great!!

  • After upgrading to Lion the bookmarks in Preview returns error message.

After upgrading to Lion the bookmarks in Preview returns error message : The File "****" couldn't be opened because you don't have permission to view it. To change the perimssion, select the item in finder and Choose File info.  I have bookmarked plenty of files in Preview.  How to overcome this error message???

Doesn't work Steve. I think it is an issue with Preview being sandboxed (check the sandbox column in Activity Monitor: Preview = Yes). Sandboxed apps restrict file access to those the user has explicitly selected. My theory is that this causes the unfortunate side effect of bookmarked or linked PDFs not working. A simple test: open a file with bookmarks, manually open the bookmarked file and then select the bookmark in the first file - it should open with no complaints about permissions (which leads to a weak workaround: open all the PDFs you intend to work with!).

  • Weird error message from oc4j with EntityBean

We have an J2EE application written originally to run on Orion 1.4.5.
We have decided to try to port this to oc4j and the version we are using is 1.0.2.2
There is some minor reconfiguration issue but nothing really major.
All the servlet, jsp, and stateless session EJB runs without any problem.
However, all the CMP EntityBean doesn't seem to like their new home.
During deployment, the container will complaints about every single EntityBean with error message like the following:
JavaApplication_EntityBeanWrapper33.java:358: Exception java.sql.SQLException is never thrown in the body of the corresponding try statement.
    catch(java.sql.SQLException e)
JavaApplication is one of our CMP EntityBean and the Wrapper is supposingly created automatically by the container at deployment time.
Has anyone encountered this before? Any work around/solutions?
    Thanks in advance
    Andrew

    gday Andrew -
I believe that this is caused by setting the attribute exclusive-write-access=false in the orion-ejb-jar.xml file for your EJBs.
This is a known OC4J problem: a bug has been logged and it's been fixed here. The next minor release of OC4J will contain the fix for this.
In the meantime as a workaround removing the exclusive-write-access=false attribute from the orion-ejb-jar.xml files for your beans should get you going.
    cheers!
    -steve.

  • My AT&T Yahoo email gives me an error message saying that my screen resolution is too low, but it is at 1600 x 900. This only happens in Firefox, not in IE.

When I try to use Firefox to access my ATT.NET account I get an error message about my screen resolution being to low to support the site.My resolution is not low its at the highest available. I also use IE9 and do not have this problem. I am running Windows 7 and Firefox 15.0.1. This has been an ongoing problem. I am using a Toshiba laptop 15.6 screen with 4GB RAM. I see other complaints about this specific problem but have yet to find a solution. Thanks for your help.

Please see added comments on the question. Its not a zoom issue its all about the new ATT design email and Firefox, I agree with Noah there a bug between the old and the new and firefox only.
    UPDATE:
I stand corrected. I went back in again and did the reset zoom and it appears to eliminate the error. Problem solved but I am not sure why I never set up zoom and didn't have the problem on any other site. Will it need to be done each and every time I go into that page or is it now corrected?

  • When I tried to update Itunes I got an error message telling me to reinstall.  When I try to reinstall I get a message "Apple Mobile Devide failed to start.  Verify you have sufficient privliges to start syem services"  Can anyone help here?

When I tried to update Itunes I got an error message telling me to reinstall.  When I try to reinstall I get a message "Apple Mobile Devide failed to start.  Verify you have sufficient privliges to start syem services"  I'm not sure what this means, can anyone help here?  Thanks,

I tried the temp fix you mentioned, it didn't work.  I could not delete all of the old itunes files, the uninstallers would crash half way through and if I tried to manually delete anything it also gave me an error, so reinstalling the older version would not work.
Frankly, this whole thing has got me ****** off.  judging by the amount of complaints here, there must be a lot of people having this problem, yet Apple has let it go on for almost 2 weeks.  What kind of inept coders are they employing if they can let an update that completely frags their software get through QA.
Does anyone know of any programs that will play itunes music files?  I am just about done dealing with iTunes, but I've got a ton of music that I don't want to have to purchase all over again.

  • Raw files (CR2) - Cannot modify IPTC Core fields, get error messages

I really hope someone out there can help me out here because I'm at my wit's end!!!!
I have a bunch of raw files in a folder, these are just pictures I took for a bit of general practice over Christmas.
Now, whilst trying to modify the IPTC Core Fields (basically adding my name and my email address to the pictures), it worked fine for most of the pictures, but for some reason it will not work for the last 20. This is driving me nuts. :(
The first picture which doesn't work was taken literally 2 seconds after the last one which does work. All pictures work perfectly well in Photoshop, I can open them, modify them, save them as jpgs... no problem. But it just won't let me change the metadata. The pencils on the IPTC Core fields are nowhere to be found, the option File>File Info appears greyed out... etc.
    The error messages I get:
    1. When clicking on any line of the IPTC Core Fields (such as "Creator") =
i "This property cannot be modified".
    2. When clicking on the keywords tab and trying to enter keywords =
i "The file Name.CR2 cannot store XMP metadata. No changes will occur"
I have scoured the web for help, visited multiple forums... to no avail. It looks like other people are having the same problem but no-one seems to have a solution. I haven't done anything different to those 20 pictures, so I just can't think of a logical answer, it just doesn't make sense!!
I am only starting to catalogue my pictures in the hope of going professional one day and this is extremely discouraging... if anyone out there can help, I'd be ever so grateful. Right now I just feel like pulling my hair out!! :'(
    OK, rant over :)
Thanks very much for reading and thanks very, very much in advance for any suggestions/ideas!!

I have run into the same problem. I downloaded photos in raw format ".CR2" from a Canon 40D via a compact flash card reader to my laptop. I labelled the ones I wanted green and then transferred these images via wireless transfer to my desktop. I had not checked any keywords while these were on the laptop. I used the Bridge (CS3)File/Copy to menu selection to effect the transfer. Both systems are Windows XP, SP2.
I then tried to check a keword in my list for an image and got the error message number 2 reported by Maria Atkins above. I got the same for all images on the desktop system.
    Observations:
-the green labelled items are correctly filtered on the desktop, but the labels on the images all show white.
-not all images even have .xmp files associated with them. It appears to be a random thing.
-although I have checked my preference to have double click open an image in Camera Raw in Bridge it will not do so with these images, always opening Camera Raw in Photoshop.
-the camera exif data is correctly attached to the images, whether there is a .xmp file associated or not.
-On my laptop I found I can check keywords and they are stored with the image with no complaints from Bridge, and whether the image has a .xmp file associated with it or not. This is after I had copied the images to the desktop. I was just checking whether the problem was with the original images or just the transferred ones. It appears to be that something was not done correctly in the transfer.
This is not a trivial issue since it is essential for cataloging images to enable future searches. I hope someone from Adobe is paying attention and will respond with an answer.

  • Jpg error message

New user working on my first web site, using MX 2004, v 7.01.
When I try to drag and drop a jpg from my files panel group
to a web page htm file I get the following error message.
Dreamweaver can’t open .jpg files. Please choose an
HTML, XML, or other compatible file.
Not sure what the problem is. The only thing I can think of
is the jpeg was originally created and saved using Corel photo
    paint.

It works to option click and download but does just clicking on it open it in a new window? I am receiving complaints from people trying to open it. .. thanks for checking!

  • Error Message while Installing OC4J_EXTENDED

    Hi --
Installing the preconfigured version of the OC4J container containing the PDK -- downloaded from url http://download.oracle.com/otndocs/tech/ias/portal/files/OC4J_EXTENDED.zip -- followed all the instructions. The startup process continues without any other complaints, but -- because I've got other problems later on -- I wanted to check whether this error was common and benign.
    Any thoughts?

    Some additional followup...
If instead of running the startup.bat file I switch to j2ee\home and execute
    java -jar oc4j.jar
I get a slightly different error message.
Error instantiating application at file: C:/Program Files/jdeveloper/j2ee/home/applications/portalTools.ear:
    Constructing UserManager for portalTools:
    caught oracle.security.jazn.JAZNInitException:
Cannot locate default jazn.xml. Please define "oracle.home".
this is followed by a series of errors that complain
Error initializing site Oracle9iAS Containers for J2EE HTTP Web Site: No application named 'portalTools' found in the server
... is this another symptom of the same underlying problem? It suggests that "oracle.home" should be defined, so that file jazn.xml can be found. Sure sounds like it might be associated with the NullPointerException in my previous post -- since that occurred on the call to "getJAZNProperties"...
Any thoughts what "oracle.home" should be defined as?

I downloaded 4.0 today. I was askled to reboot. I did this. Unable to open 4.0 browswer. Tried reboot several times. Same eroor message each time i tried to open browser. I tried to remove program, and i get the same error message asking to reboot. i tried to download 3.6 to go back to whatI had, and i get the same error message.

I downgraded the Time Capsule to 7.6.1
I've had similar issues using a 4th Gen running 7.6.3 with OS 10.6.8, but have stuck with it because the performance with 7.6.1 was actually worse in my situation. Your own setup may well perform differently, but you might want to monitor your TC’s behavior closely for at least a while. Or just downgrade to 7.5.2, as LaPastenague suggested. In my case, downgrading to 7.6.1 — I have a recent 4th Gen, which won’t accept any earlier basebinary file — caused serious disk spin issues, a not uncommon problem to judge from the many complaints about it appearing on this list.
Apple: improve your regression testing, please!
My question: Does anyone have a sense, based perhaps on Apple‘s past practice, of whether it is at all likely that there will be future firmware upgrades for pre-802.11ac TCs — or should anyone currently using these legacy devices just abandon all hope at this point?
