Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild.
If that fails:
Restore from your back up, repair the Library and try again.

Yes this is what I do, but still receive "Insufficient privileges to write to that location". So I am forced to use normal file system to be able to continue.
After that I run into the current problem saying OMS configuration failed (see details....) and I try:
./opmnctl startall

Music on my iPhone has become very difficult to edit since upgrading to 5.0.1. If I simply want to delete some songs, it insists on a complete sync cycle after EACH one I delete. This is so annoying… (I have over 400 Christmas songs I won't need until next year) I have also noticed it randomly keeps updating album artwork…adding more time to each sync. Is there some way I can turn off the syncing until I have picked and deleted all the songs I want?

The cause was probably a USB glitch during a sync or when copying. The music resides on the phone in separate files. A master file contains a database with an index to the music, an entry for each track and a "pointer" to the file containing the track. Somehow the index got corrupted with duplicate entries. It's likely that the music itself wasn't duplicated, but some tracks had more than one entry in the database. I've seen this happen when syncing (rather than manually managing) also. In my case deleting the track from the Music tab in iTunes, syncing, then adding it back fixed it.
A related problem I've seen is an album may be split, with some tracks in each of 2 or more album entries in the listing. Fixed the same way.

Deletion of Complete Sales Cycle

Is there any shortcut to completely delete the sales cycle including sales order,delivery,pgi,invoice and accounting document and all the impact are reversed as there were some major issues in the data entry and there is no other wayout.I have to bring the sd module to the state of"new born".Help!!!

From my little experience in systems implementation, support and administration, one phenomenon that has contradicting meaning depending on the context in which it is used is archiving or data archiving. Often times, IT professionals tend to confuse the term with concepts such as data reorganization, fragmentation, document imaging, backup and restore among others. Even in the SAP world, some technical professionals takes data archiving to be synonymous with terminologies such as SAP Archive Link and DART.
While I do not intend to do a compare and contrast these phenomenons in this post, I think it is expedient to clearly define what data archiving is in the context of SAP. I will also give an overview of how data is archived and the benefits of data archiving in SAP.
What is Data Archiving?
Data Archiving is a decongestion process used to delete large volume of data that is no longer needed from a database and storing same outside the database in a format that allows for data retrieval and analysis when need be. The emphasis here are on u201Cdeletingu201D and u201Cstoringu201D. It is common knowledge that if a database is left to grow unmaintained, there is a possibility of having performance bottlenecks and high database maintenance cost. Hence, one of the ways to maintain the database is to delete records that can be termed obsolete. The word u201Cobsoleteu201D is relative. For the archiving process to be complete, data has to be stored using a defined method.
How is data archived?
The data archiving run follows a sequence of steps. A brief overview is provided below.
1. Creation of the archive file: During an archive run, the write program first creates archive files which initiates the reading process (from the database) and the consequent writing process (to the archive file)
2. Storage of the archive file: After successful run of step 1, the created archive files are stored. A number of methods can be leveraged to store an archive file. Archived files can be stored hierarchically, optically or manually. It is important to state that SAP does not recommend the manual storage of archive file. This is as a result of some standardization issues
3. Deletion of data: This step terminates the archive run. Before data is deleted from the database, the program first read the content of the archive file. It is after this task, that the program deletes the corresponding entry from the database.
Benefits of Data Archiving
1. Reduced Backup and Restore time
2. Reduced access time for tables
3. Reduced database administration cost
4. Reduced downtime for system upgrade
5. Reusability of data

I can no longer get Firefox to work. I tried to update it but it won't complete configuration.

Firefox notified me of an upgrade, so when I went to upgrade, now Firefox won't work at all. It would not complete the configuration on my Mac. The Firefox icon now has a big circle with the line through it. the error message number is 10661.

HP 7450 Photosmart After Printing completes Printer cycles 1/2 page and gets fault

I have been through the mill with support and still no answer. My printer Prints Great, no issues. However, after it completes 1, 2 or 10 page documents the printer stops at the ready as it should. Then three seconds the printer starts it alignment cycle? You hear a lot of movement and then it pulls in a page 1/2 way and stops with a Jam fault. Pull the Paper out and push the ready button and it cycles and comes ready, then put the paper back in the input tray and you are ready to print. I have deleted everything out of my USB and also de-installed the printer and re-installed the printer. Nothing has changed this.
This problem started after a paper jam and trying to get the printer ready to print again. Again the Printer prints great and pages OK. It is just after it completes the print job that it gets this problem.

I found a way to print at least 10 sheets before it faults out again.
1. Physically pull the sheet of paper out.
2. Remove all paper
3. press the large button on the front of the printer and let it completely cycle. You should get a green light when it finishes.
4. Put paper back in the paper tray and print.
Do this everytime it faults.
Also empty the paper tray on the last sheet of the print job and it will not fault.

Before configuring APP you must have created your House Bank through FI12
APP complete config is done in only one T-Code FBZP.
1. Select your company code in Button- All Company Codes
2.If you want to put any minimum amount for Incoming or Outgoing payment in APP mention in Button-Paying Company Codes
3.Create a Payment Method in the country, or you can copy the Payment Method from the respective country. Eg. Let suppose you want to create a Payment Method for country IN select the existing payment method of your interest and copy.
 -here you have different options select according to your requirement
 - You can have different document types for Payment and for Clearing
Note: In the Payment Medium section give any name of your choice for the Payment medium program , but start with "RFFO" Eg: RFFOIN_C. By specifying the program name here, you prevent the form from being printed by mistake using a program that is defined for another payment method.
Enter the allowed Currencies for the method.
4. Define the Payment Method in company code at Button-Payment Methods in Company Code.
 - Here you can have the maximum amount restriction
 - Grouping options at the payment run
 - In the Pyt.Adv.Ctrl Button you can control the no.of line items to be printed on the payment advice.
5. Determine the banks used for payment @ Button- Bank Determination
 - Select your company code and give the order for Bank Selection for the payment
 - Mention the House Banks and the GL accounts to be posted on payment
 - You can restrict the funds available per bank for the method in Available amounts
6. you can retrive already created house baks @ Button -House Banks
 Note: You can also create a house bank here.
It is very simple to configure the APP
After configuring the APP, mention the applicable Payment Methods in the Vendor and Customer master records in the Payment Transactions Section of Company code Data.

Not able to complete Maintenance Cycle in CHARM Maintenance Project

While completing the CHARM Maintenance Project, getting following error:
"Error RFC destination
/TMWFLOW/TL_COMPL_CHK_TR_WO_TL: New Maintenance
Cycle M000000177"
Because of this error I am not able to complete the Maintenance Cycle, i.e. not able to change the status of Maintenance Cycle to 'Completed'

Replacement 6100G will not complete configuration

Received a new Westell 6100G modem for one determined by Verizon to have failed. After clicking on the Verizon set up page I selected the "this is a replacement modem" and followed instructions. The screen then showed that it was processing and advised a likely three minute wait. After about 6 minutes a screen appeared stating that configuration could not be completed. Have been without internet for about a week. Have spent many hours with tech support in India. One tech determined that first modem had failed only after using for 10 days. Don't know what to do now. Need to have a repair tech visit to check the line and possibly install a cat 5 from network interface to jack..

Do the following to fix this. I don't know why they need to run an Activation Wizard these days with OpenPPPoE being so abundant!

Change the default password on the modem to something you will remember

Unable to complete: configuration Assistants in GUI mode

I am tring the install RAC 10g clusterware software on HPUX 11i v1 machine
I excuted the root.sh file on both nodes and then while trying to excute the VIPCA script its getting an error
and also i am not able to complete 1st step in Configuration Assistants in GUI mode
