Hi All,
I come baring what is hopefully a gift which is in demand. At least I know I wanted and couldn't find it.
I am putting together a site called www.appletvjunkie.com. This site will provide thee most current list of HD movies available on Apple TV along with, and this is the most important point as far as i'm concerned, what NEW HD movies have been added on a daily basis. I've looked far and wide and I have yet to find any sort of comprehensive list, so I am taking it upon myself to create it for our Apple TV community.
How many of us have been at work, thinking about a movie to watch for the coming night or weekend, but had no way of either remembering or knowing exactly what HD movies were provided on Apple TV. Well you will now. Remember, this is HD movies only. For a list of current SD movies you can log into the iTunes Store at any time.
I'll do my best to provide any current Apple TV news and I encourage any feedback the community may have.
I know this is a over used term, but, the site is in a kind of Beta mode right now. I am currently using iWeb to produce this site, but, it does have it's limitations. I do hope to move off of it in the near future in favor of something a little more flexible.

A bit slow to grasp this at first, I forgot you need the tv to see HD movies, then I realised this is aimed at those times you're away from the tv and now I see the point, good idea, well thought out.
Then I got to thinking it wouldn't take too much work to make an alternative site for iphones/mobile phones and a bit of code in your home page would detect whether the surfer was using a mobile or not.
It would be nice to use your phone on the train home from work to plan your evenings entertainment, don't want to give you too much to do though.

How do I view only movies available for rent on ITunes?

I only want to see the library of movies available for rent, is there a way to select that search? I do not wish to purchase and don't want to click through movies trying to see which are available for rental and which are not.

You cannot.
You would have to contact itunes support and ask if they will do this for you.

Current number of movies available for rent

Has anyone counted recently? Not sure how to properly find this out: going to Power Search and clicking "available to rent" and search lists over 2000 movies, but I'm not sure if I'm seeing repeats. Not long ago I was hearing reports of around 1000.
If anyone has counted (or knows the proper way to figure this out), that would be great.

HT1657 how to find movies available for rent?

Is there an easy way to filter, from my iPad, movies/videos that are available for rent as opposed to purchase only? There's nothing more frustrating than finding a movie to rent so I can watch it on the plane only to find out it's only available for purchase.

Yes, it's not good, but as has been said here many, many times, there's nothing Apple can do. The majority of the movie studios are unwilling to license their content for download sale. It's only been with the advent of rentals on the iTunes Store that most of the studios now participating have been willing to provide their content at all, something that was probably a large factor in Apple's decision to start the rental service. Unless and until the studios are willing to license a movie for download sale, there's nothing any download store can do.

New movies available for purchase but not rental?

I know this is the content owners and not Apple, but it's extremely annoying to have to wait almost a month to be able to rent a recently released movie, especially when I can rent it from other sources.

It makes perfect commercial sense currently - people eager enough to get the movie on release will pay to buy it (in SD), and they'll later maybe rent in HD.
The studios are simply leeching your money...

It will vary from title to title, sometimes they won't be removed at all.

Touchscreen customization? or complete list of gestures?

Hi, I'm enjoying my new Yoga 2 13. While browsing in tablet mode, I apparently made a gesture that made my browser go "back" which seems like something I'd like to do often. Where can I find a complete list of touchscreen gestures available on my model -- the user guide just lists "popular" ones, and Win 8 resources seem generic. Or if not, is there a way I can customize gestures like assigning hotkeys? Thanks.

Just search on Google for 'List of Windows 8 gestures'. There are plenty to choose from.
But to answer your question, you are putting your finger somewhere on the left side of your screen and swiping towards the left edge of your screen, that makes your browser to go to the previous page.
If you swipe towards the right edge of your screen, you will go to the next page.
If you swipe from the left or right edge to the middle you can switch tasks.
To bring up the charms bar on the right: swipe from the right edge of the screen to the middle but immediately swipe back to the right edge.
To see which programs are open, you swipe from the left edge of the screen towards the middle and then you swipe back to the left edge in one fluent move.
I will write a complete guide for you and others as soon as I find some time to do it. I hope explaining it in words made clear what you were doing 'wrong'.

Calculate funds available for a particular date

Hi,
I am developing a custom PO Printing report and there is a requirement to calculate the budget/funds available for a particular account as a column in the report. Oracle has given the standard package gl_funds_available_pkg.calc_funds to calculate funds available. But this gives funds available for a particular account as on date. However my requirement is to print the funds available as on purchase order approval date,while the custom report might be generated at a later date. Many transactions would have been done using that account and the funds available would have reduced as on report generation date. But I need to get the funds available as on po approval date(earlier date).Please help me achieve this requirement.

To Calculate Opening Stock & Closing stock there are different procedures.
It just depends of\n the client requirements & usage of the material.
For example, we have different types of stocks, like, Through Pipeline, Special, Unristricted, quality, safety,
and many types of stocks.... so all these types are indicated in MSEG tabe in SOBTZ field,...
Now Comimg to your Query, You need to calculate OPENING & CLOSING STOCK.
We have a similiar standard report in MB5B Tcode..
to get the same results in your report do like this...
For valuated stock go to the MARDH, MBEWH, MCHBH tables But I Prefer MBEWH.
here in MBEWH give the month & year and you get the result in LBKUM field...
For Special stock, You need to go to another table like MKOLH,,(I forgot still 2 more) and
give the month & year inputs and you will get the result in SLABS field.
and remaining MB5B refers to its deetails lists with different Movement types,
whcih you can get clearly from MSEG Table...
Hope you can write the select Queries accordingly.

GOODS MOVEMENT HISTORY FOR INVOICE REGISTRATION

Hi all,
I use the BAPI BAPI_INCOMINGINVOICE_CREATE to register invoices.
The BAPI wants as input parameter the list of goods movement.
Thus, I need a remote component (BAPI, RFC, Function Module, etc.) to get the goods movement history for a certain purchase order.
Note that I do NOT need the goods movement (BAPI BAPI_GOODSMVT_GETDETAIL).
I need a component with the same behaviour of the MIRO transaction, which displays, for a certain Purchase Order, the goods movements "available for invoice registration".

Problem updating new firmware available for Z2 Tablet Wifi

So finally my Xperia Z2 Tablet Wifi, notify me there is update for 17.1.1.A.0.402. But the catch is need to be connect to the computer to do the updates. I re-download PC Companion many times (http://www.sonymobile.com/ca-en/tools/pc-companion/) as mention every thread. And yet it still saying PC Companion must be updated. and it does not provide way to update it.
My PC companion is version 2.1 as far I can tell. Is the website still running on software???

I was fighting this issue with the addition of the Tablet not being recognised and looping between PC Companion telling me that it did not see the tablet, and then that it needed to update PC Companion... despite me updating it twice now. I called Sony Support who sent me directions to getting it updated. Unfortunately, it wiped my tablet to default. Lost everything in it, but it was not a surprise and it tells you that at every juncture. I pasted the directions in this message. Good luck! ----------------------- --------- We have an extended guide that should help you fix the issue on your phone, please follow the instructions carefully: Visit this link: http://www.sonymobile.com/us/tools/pc-companion/ Click on Download PC Companion Run the software and install it Turn the phone off and disconnect it from the computer 1. No matter what the program says do not connect the phone until you complete step 9 2. In the welcome screen you will see the different modules available for you including the "Support Zone" option. Sadly, Apple does not provide many examples nor a clear explanation of the management levels. But this is a great reference and now it includes OS X payloads, despite the URL name. Sadly, not all profiles are listed yet but Apple seems to be revising the document.

New update available for Lumia 800 (1600.2487.8107...

Hi all!
Good news! We have brought forward the software update schedule for our Nokia Lumia 800, and have begun rolling out the latest update 1600.2487.8107.12070 to India and Singapore. This update will gradually be available for more markets in the coming weeks and we will keep you informed via our support pages as well as via a similar announcement here on Nokia Discussions Forum, once we add additonal markets to the roll out.
As this is not a mandatory software update, not every country or network carrier will make it available to their customers. However, all features and enhancements will be included in subsequent software updates. The new Lumia 800 update brings the following enhancements:
Enhanced battery standby and talk-time performance
Fix for non-responsive screen when ending a call

As soon as the update is available for you, your phone will display a notification on your Homescreen or you can check for available updates manually by going to Settings > phone update. To update your phone, please follow those 4 steps:
1.   Install the Zune software (Windows) or Windows Phone 7 Connector (Mac OS) on your computer. You'll need this software to download the phone update.
2.   Connect your phone to your computer, using the USB cable that came with your phone.
3.   If the Zune software or Windows Phone 7 Connector for Mac doesn't start automatically when you connect your phone, start it manually.
4.   In the Zune software, click Update Now (in Windows Phone 7 Connector for Mac, click Install Updates). Make sure you keep your phone connected to your computer until you see a notification that the update is complete.

There is no request, there is an absolute necessity! Patience is usually my second nature, but the whole non communication policy since the launch of the Nokia Lumia 800 is scandalous. When Nokia finally listening to their customers and responds quickly to problems and childhood illnesses. Like many others with me I'll be forced to daily to plug my device to the Zune software in the hope that Nokia (Netherlands) will be so kind to update my phone.
Nokia, listen, communicate (especially in the media and forums) and trade as a company that lives up to your image.

Are Pre-defined roles available for Customizing Synchronization?

In the SAP Help for Solution Manager: <<http://help.sap.com/saphelp_sm40/helpdata/en/48/647e3ddf01910fe10000000a114084/content.htm>>
it's mentioned that certain authorizations needs to be given for the involved people (admin & customizer), in both the SOLMAN & the component systems.
Also, its said that the role Application Consultant has all authorizations which are needed to set-up the Customizing Distribution in the SAP Solution Manager system & the authorization profile S_CUS_CMP can be used in the component systems.
But the AC role "SAP_SOL_AC_COMP" & "S_CUS_CMP" profile donot have all the necessary authorizations specified.
E.g: Role SAP_SOL_AC_COMP doesnot have project creation authority, whereas S_CUS_CMP has only some authorizations.
So my question is:
Along with these two, are there any other roles/profiles which complete the gaps & are readily available for usage ?
Last option would be to manually create & include the mentioned auth. objects.

Regarding your two questions:
1) There are seperate roles available for customizing purposes, please check note 803142 <i>Roles for satellite systems</i>. The note administration list an xls with the respective roles for customizing distribution and comparison, namely
SAP_BC_CUS_ADMIN
SAP_BC_CUS_CUSTOMIZER
S_CUS_CMP
2) What I can recommend is the quick reference for setting up Customizing Distribution which is also part of the help documentation
