Complete music was deleted automatically

My complete music was deleted automatically. I inserted everything in iTunes again. Next day it was gone again. I couldn't find anything at the support.

Hello va_nessss ,
Just a little additional information to supplement the advice you have received above.
You may already be using the iPod in manual update mode in which case you can ignore the rest of this post. In manual mode, your iPod is safe from being accidentally erased. However, if your iPod is set for automatic update, when you connect you will get a message that your iPod is linked to a different library and asking if you want to link to this one and replace all your songs etc, click *No*. Your iPod should appear in the iTunes source list. Change the update setting in Preferences>iPod to "manually manage songs and playlists" Managing Your Songs Manually
You can also use a keyboard command to prevent your iPod auto-syncing with iTunes. While connecting the iPod to the computer hold down the Shift + Ctrl keys (on a Mac hold down the Option and Command (⌥ and ⌘) keys). This will stop the iPod from auto-syncing with iTunes and the iPod will appear in the source list. Wait until you are sure the iPod has mounted, and that it will not auto sync and then you can let the keys go. This may take between 3 and 30 seconds depending on your computer. Then go to Preferences>iPod and check the "Manually manage songs and playlists" box.
Keep your iPod in manual mode until you have reloaded your iTunes and you are happy with your playlists etc then it will be safe to return it auto-sync again.
Just to reiterate the iTunes Warning.
If at any stage iTunes brings up a dialogue window asking whether you want to replace the songs on your iPod with the songs in iTunes, press "No". Pressing "Yes" will irretrievably remove all songs from your iPod.

  • When I updated my my 5S with 7.1.2 all my music was deleted

When I updated my 5S with 7.1.2 all of my music was deleted how do I get it back?

Music should be in your iTunes media library - sync with iTunes.
Purchased music - go the iTunes app - more - purchased - hit cloud to redownload.

  • All of my music was deleted. What do I do?

My sister was an absolute genius and deleted all of my music. What do I do?
Do I have to re-download all 1,500 songs over again? Is there a way I can keep the songs on my iPod and still have them updated (for play count, etc) when I update my iPod?
P.S. I'm really obsessive compulsive about the play counts of each song and although my music was deleted, I've continued to use my iPod so the play counts have changed. I don't know what to do about that either.

    Deleted from where exactly?
If the music is still on your iPod, try a 3rd party program like CopyPod.
It transfers music from iPod to computer and preserves playcounts, ratings etc.

  • HELP. I just downloaded iTunes 11 and all my music was deleted.. There was all my old music there that I had deleted but none of my new music

So today I update my iTunes on the laptop to iTunes 11. But, now all of my music is GONE. It's still saved in the laptop but now I have no idea how to import it all? Plus, all of my old music that I had previously deleted, reappeared.. So I deleted all of it and now I have nothing..

I had the same problem, cloud purchased music was gone from my computer after upgrading. But I read some more support stuff and they suggested removing the songs from your computer but don't delete the file and then you can download again from the cloud. Otherwise I wasn't getting the option to download - no need to rebuy music. Apple needs to know this was a problem though! Hope this is helpful to you. It is a pain but saving alot of frustration as to how to get it back. Good luck.

  • Playlist not updated after music was deleted

I have been wanting to delete my music from my iPhone, so I turned to this iExplorer software which lets you access the iPhone's root directory. I managed to find the folder which the music was stored in, which was "/Root Directory/User/Applications/Media/iTunes_Control/Music" , where I found several folders named FXX (e.g. F01, F27), and in each of them there were some music files whose names were all four characters and was some jumbled up combination of text and numbers (e.g. G8J1). Listening to all the files, I realised those were all the music that my iPhone contained, so I proceeded to delete all the FXX folders. However, when I tried to open up my iPod, the track list and playlists remain intact. When I selected any track, it would then randomly jump to about 2-4 other tracks without playing them and then returning to the song list. When I tried to sync the phone with new songs in my iTunes, it would just start and finish syncing without doing anything. So how do I clear the track list of the songs that are not there anymore and also how should I get my iTunes to sync with my iPhone?
    Other things to note:
    - When I went to the "About" section under Settings > General, it still says that I have songs inside the phone
    - When I double press the home button and slide to the right to show the music player, when I press Play, similarly, it just jumps through about 3-4 tracks then stops doing anything.

Restore it from a backup, or purchase it again, or fill out and submit this form for iTunes Store music. If the music came from CDs, reimport those CDs.

  • Over half of my music was deleted when I got a new comuter

So I got a new computer, and no longer needed to use my parent's for putting music on my iPhone 4. I synced it to my new computer and over half of my music was either removed from my phone or rendered useless. So, I thought it was because of the music not being on the new computer's library. So I got a flash drive because most of the music had been purchased from iTunes and transfered it over. After about a week the same thing happened again when I added a new song on to my phone. Most of them would still show up as selectable, but if I chose them it would wait a couple seconds then cycle to another song and repeat until it reached some song that it had decided not to delete. This is over $100 of music that I simply can't use anymore, and I have no idea why. Can anybody help me out?

Back up the library on your parent's computer to a portable drive. Copy that into your new computer.

Once the Ipod is disconnected then it recognizes the library. I was told that my songs are still on my Ipod if so great, that should make it easier. If not hoew do I redowm the somgs in my library to the Ipod. Someone please help me. Thank you

  • Had difficulty with synching music. Music was deleted when I changed/added new info.  Had to start over.  So...I checked procedure and it say if you change anything, hit the apple button.  Which one?  Never had to do this previous to the new operatin

I was having trouble with synching my iphone 5 since the new operating system was installed.  But I was waiting for my 6+ and figured it would be solved with my dandy new phone.  No such luck.  I downloaded a great deal of music and then added to it and synched again.  Music gone, except paid for stuff bought on the phone.  So I added more and tried to load it again, and it did.  But now, I was afraid to add anything, backup,  and synch for any reason as it takes 12 hours + to load my music.
So, I went back to basics and looked up the procedure.  It does say that if you make a change, " you should hit the apple button before you synch."  Which one?
No info on what they mean.  And clearly this is a change.  I'm feeling stupid, but lately, Apple makes changes and expects you to intuitively figure them out.  I usually do but was stumped here.  It might be nice to get a heads up when changes occur.
    Please help !
Oh and also, I can't seem to download ringtones I have created.

I am syncing my iphone to my iTunes account and then I do a backup and also making sure all updates are current.  Then by going to the my phone and then going to the right and selecting the restore my iphone.

  • My music was deleted

I have lost some of my purchased apps and music. What do i do to get it back.

I'm really sorry to tell you this, but since your music isn't backed up on your computer there is really nothing you can do about it. I had this same thing happen to me at the beginning of the summer; in fact, it has happened at least three more times since then. The first time it happened was about the same as what you described above. There IS a way to revert the files back from the ipod to the computer, BUT you said that whenever you try to open the folders (numbered F0 through F49, if you're talking about what I think you are) you get a message saying "Insert disk in drive (whatever)". Since that message is coming up, the best I can tell you is to restore your ipod and good luck getting the music back onto your computer. Believe me, it is a bit of a chore, but you shouldn't have too much of a problem.

  • I had to restore my iPod, and all the music was deleted.

It's still on iTunes but it says I have to restore it again everytime I try to sync it, and so I can't add the music to my ipod.. and I don't know what to do.

    Maybe:
Restore loop (being prompted to restore again after a restore successfully completes)
Troubleshoot your USB connection. If the issue persists, out-of-date or incorrectly configured third-party security software may be causing this issue. Please follow Troubleshooting security software issues. .
Next try placing in DFU mode and then restoring.

Last, try restoring on another computer.

  • All my music was deleted from my computer, all the music is still on my ipod, how do i transfer the music on my ipod back onto my computer?

I'v tried 'transfer purchases' but it only put songs with I bought off itunes back onto itunes, does anyone have any idea's on how to get the rest of my music back onto my computer?

Do a google search for ipod2PC. It does just what you describe, moves all music from the ipod to the computer and Itunes with no fuss.
It cost money but I think its well worth it. There are other third party programs that do the same thing but ipod2PC is the one I have and am familiar with.

  • After updating to ITunes 11.1.4 ITunes can see but not recognize my IPod and all my music was deleted from my IPod

I have not had any issues until I updated to the latest version. I have tried all the suggestions on the support web page and nothing has worked. I am hoping that this version of ITunes is the issue and that Apple will release a fixed version, Any suggestions?

Ok, here is the fix per Chad at Apple. Just did it and it worked.
    Open the Control Panel
    Uninstall *in this order*:
    1. iTunes
    2. Apple Mobile Device Driver
    3. Apple App Updater
    4. Bonjour
You may need to reboot after uninstalling Apple Mobile Device Driver, and ok if it still shows in the Control Panel.
Next, go to Apple.com, then download and install the most recent version of iTunes.

  • I had music on my i tunes that I deleted.  When I sync my iphone the music that was deleted shows up.  How do I get rid of the music I do not want on my iphone?

I had music on my i tunes that I deleted.  When I sync my iphone the music that was deleted shows up.  How do I get rid of the music I do not want on my iphone?

Connect your I-phone to i-tunes , click on music . Not the one in the library but the music that opened up when you connected to i-tunes . Highlight the complete album or songs you want deleted, then right click and delete. Once you deleted the songs off you i-phone, then click the music from the library of your i-tunes. If that same music or album is also in there then repeat what you did in the i-phone to delete . This should take it all out.
    good luck
