Complete Newbie trying to use Ultra Key

Hello,
I am a total newbie, and am working on learning to use my new green screen & lights :-) So far, I am able to get the vast majority of the green out.
Here is a shot of the green background:

You'll notice the fuzzy remanants of the green screen after using Ultra Key filter.
How do I get rid of this? Any help is much appreciated

You do need to start of with a relatvely uncreased, evenly lit backdrop. I can see why you're having problems.
With just one eyedrop sample...
I would try and create a garbage matte to mask out as much unwanted background as possible and then try the key on the remaining content.

Well I am truly staggered, I have tried this on two different MacBook Pros, with three different external USB optical drives. Don't know if you googled as I suggested but you would find hundreds of others who have found same thing. The exception is MacBook Air which works with the Apple writer, but I don't know much about this.
Were you doing any of the special workarounds with refedit etc?

Shaking Picture (using ultra key)

I am using ultra-key for a grey frame. In that frame I have clips (mpg, m2v), animations (mpg) and pictures (jpeg).
The frame is made with photoshop -> JPEG
the border of the frame is unsharp and it seems to go back and forth.
output:
NTSC, 720*540, 25 fps, Quality 5,
top MPEG, 384 kbit/s, 48khz, 16bit, stereo
VBR, 1-Pass, min 4.00, target 15.00, max 18.50

look closely, you will see it

What encoder are you using--Adobe Media Encoder? You have unusual settings that I am unable to duplicate.
Also, it appears that all the elements, and not just the frame are jittering. You wrote that you are using the NTSC standard
but your settings are more indicative of a PAL project. Try re-encoding using either standard PAL or NTSC frame size settings.
You may also need to change the field order.

I need help using Ultra Key on a green screen clip.

I am using Adobe Premiere Pro CC to edit a blue screen clip, however, once I apply the Ultra key to the clip, I notice that when I start to render (using Adobe Media Encorder CC), the top part of the green screen clip gets blocked (cut off) by the replacement background! I have tried different backgrounds but I keep getting the same chest-to-head level blocked off with the background. When I remove the Ultra Key and render the
clip with it's green screen, then it renders just fine! BELOW IS A SCREEN SHOT OF MY PROBLEM.

Getting error while trying to use restrcted key figures in bo, please help

there is query in the BW on which the query is developed with some restrictive key figures
when we import this query into bo all fine
but when we tried to use these restricted key fig i am getting this error
there no problem of importing all other queries only on this cube, the quereis on this cube

Acrobat X Pro 10.1.12 under Yosemite crashes when trying to use arrow keys to navigate.

Acrobat now crashes when attempting to use arrow keys to navigate. This is true on both MacBook Pro 15 retina and Mac Pro.

I ended up upgrading to Acrobat XI. This works, but Adobe is up to its old tricks changing the interface from what we're used to using. They now have decided to hide all the tools. You have to delve deep into the program to find the tools, then set up your own tool menus. Lord help you finding a tool that you use too occasionally to put on a custom menu.
Adobe has been doing this for years now. In Photoshop of olden days, it was simple to set up a brush, say, that you used frequently. Quite a few updates ago they made that vastly more difficult. And they've replaced words with happy little icons, that are not at all intuitive to use. I challenge you, too, to look at the icon for the airbrush and tell me whether it is on or off. (Sorry, this is mainly about Photoshop, but what they've done to the latest Acrobat is just as bad.)
Of course, their ultimate cuteness in making things difficult for the user is their essential abandonment of a Help system. You can't do a simple look-up of a function -- you have to go to an internet site and sort through a bunch of forums and user comments to get any information.

Premiere Pro 5.5 crashes when I use Ultra Key

I saw this posted from last year. I just started having the same problem. I updated to 5.5.2 and the program started crashing every time I hit the eye-dropper with Ultra Key.
It was running fine for the last month through some pretty intensive green screen work.
Any ideas?
I also installed Silverlight and an mpeg converter but have already trashed both.

Just kidding... I have three video cams one of which has a noisy mic, so the wave form is not as distinct as to make it easy as a good mic would..
The Markers just make the chore so much easier when they WORK! I can always come back and just realign them if I should bump them the wrong way or if I take a shot out and want to put it back in at a later date.

Gimp program won't let me type anything it just tries to use shortcut keys when I type

I got the gimp app and it won't let me use the keybard to type in to rename, or anything, it keeps trying to use the keyboard for shortcuts

Solution to this known bug is to upgrade to GIMP 2.8.10. Worked for me.

Trying to use function keys (like windows) on apple wireless keyboard for ipad, as well as arrow keys.

I am connecting to my work PC through my ipad. My main program i use for work is a DAS based (ancient, i know.) Anyways, i have to be able to use function keys, i can touch the screen so if i can not it isn't the end of the world. But it would make things MUCH more easier. Is there a way to program the F1-F12 keys on the wireless keyboard to use like windows, rather than the brightness/volume/play buttons.
Also, my arrow keys don't seem to work right. If i am using notepad, they don't work, unless i have entered down 6 lines, the arrows will work as far as those 6 lines, but won't go down on there own. If i am on the internet and there is a drop down menu, the arrow keys don't work either. As well as in my work program, they don't work at all, it's as if the arrow keys don't register.
Help?!

Just added information. In my work program, i can use the onscreen keyboard (but it takes up half the screen so i can not see what i am doing. From that keyboard, and can toggle back and forth from the regular keyboard, the FN screen for function keys, and the CTRL keyboard. This is why i am confused as to why the function keys and arrows will not work on the wireless, yet they have the keyboard on the screen.

Newbie trying to use tomcat to run jsp

I'm just trying to setup Tomcat on my machine, and i've run into a couple of issues.
(1) if i type in http://localhost:9000/test in IE, it gives me an error saying TCP_ERROR and how the web server is possibly down. however if i try it in Netscape, the page shows up fine. I read in the running.txt file that it had something to do with the LAN settings, but i have no idea what has to be done in there to get it to work??
(2) the second issue is, if i give someone the url http://<IP>:9000/test that is using another machine, what has to be done for them to see it? i had someone on another machine try it and they got page could not be found.

No LAN settings are needed. You're doing something else wrong. Is there a TOMCAT_HOME/webapps/test directory set up? Unless you created it, there's no such URL in Tomcat's setup.

TIA If they can see the machine on the network, you don't have to do anything else special. If they can ping it, they can talk to Tomcat.
If you're a newbie, as your topic says, why are you changing things like the Tomcat port? Leave it as the default until you have Tomcat under your belt. - MOD

What i want to do is either clicking on A or B one of them will change the bool variable to true and the other key to false.

Newbie: trying to use XML in a Line Series.

So, I have a similar question to my last one, how to connect some XML from an RPC to a line series. The XML comes across fine. Problem is, why does it not work below?
The XML is simple, and I use dataProvider="{tsRPC.lastResult.TIMESERIES}"....then yField="DataPoint.Value"...but it does not work
I have seen some examples that use the "data.something"...where data must be some internal object. I tried various combinations of everything.

Newbie trying to use terminal

So I'm working on a projekt in logic, and a friend of my has recorded drums and are sending me audiofiles in a .zip file.
However, when I tried to unzip it a new file is created that is called .cpgz. So i looked around on various forums witch said I should use Terminal. I used the following commands:
cd ./desktop
unzip file.zip
Then I get the following message:

In App Store, there is an App called "iSubtitle" it can merge .mp4 and .m4v files with .srt files! Hereby you can use subtitles in iTunes!
