Completely blank ipad screen when charge. Theres no apple logo or charging sign. Its been a few days now, but still the same. I tried many times pressing power button and home button together but to an avail. Please help!

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Completely Blank Blue Screen after Laptop is woken up from Sleep

Initial State: 1) Laptop is ON
2) Laptop is connected by LAN cable to ADSL Modem (BSNL Connection).3) Internet Connection is ON.4) Browser is ON.5) McAfee LiveSafe Internet Security (Antivirus) is ON.6) Skype is ON but not connected or logged on7) Download Accelerator Plus is ON but not in use. Process:1) I leave the laptop on and untouched for 5-10 minutes while I do something else.2) The laptop is in a Sleep State when I come back.3) I press a key or move the mouse to wake it up. Final State:1) I get the initial Windows Page on which I have to click on username to login.2) When I click on it, I do not get the page where I should enter password. Instead, I get a completely blank blue screen with absolutely nothing on it. I have to hard-press the power button for 10 seconds and then switch the laptop back on losing valuable data. Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.

I have a 14.88G iPod Nano that I currently use as my primary watch. A week or so ago I started to experience a blank white screen when I press the "sleep/wake" button instead of the watch face (I have it set to wake from sleep to display the clock). When I hard reset it, it will come back fine and the screen will respond and work as normal, as soon as I manually put it to sleep by pressing the "sleep/wake" button and then try to wake it the same thing happens and I have a blank white screen that doesn't respond to touch gestures or anything.
What I have tried so far to no avail:
Numerous hard restarts (holding the "sleep/wake" button with the volume - button).
Tried this: iPod nano (6th generation): Hardware troubleshooting
Changed the watch face to display.
Recharged the device overnight (without full discharge).
Since none of this works I'm out of ideas. Eventhough I have a 6G Nano it should no longer be under warranty since I was sent it as a replacement for a different (older) product.
Any ideas? Is this a known problem? Thanks in advance for any insight any of you could provide. Also, what time is it??

I have the exact same problem as you have described. I also used my ipod as a watch but starting from today, whenever I unlock it the screen turns white until a reset is done. Even a factory reset through itunes didn't fix it.

Turning off the iPad screen when synchronizing with the iTunes

Quick question: How do I turn off the iPad screen when synchronizing with the iTunes. Is this even possible? Are there settings I am overlooking? Or perhaps a third-party app which can make it happen?
I have a large library and often leave my iPad connected to iTunes for several hours at a stretch. The bright glowing screen can be a big distraction, and, more importantly I am very worried about pixel burn-in.

The iPad LED Backlit IPS Screen is not phosphor-based, so there is no permanent phosphor burn-in problem. You might see some image persistence, but that is not permanent and can be corrected. See this support article about image persistence: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2807
Since you have already converted your music to 128 kbps, you are unlikely to see any more 10+ hour syncs unless you have to do a restore. In that event, you could select the brightness control in settings to the lowest level.
FYI, there are some apps, such as Night stand HD that are designed to be used for long periods with unvarying displays and I have yet to see image persistence problems reported. However, since the iPad is still a new product, there may be some reports in the future.

The troubling thing to me is the fact that the charger gets extremely hot - according to what you are saying. The charger can get warm and can get fairly warm when the iPad is charging, but it should never get extremely hot. Make an appointment at an Apple Store, take the iPad, the cable and the charger with you and ask them to look at everything for you.

Getting a Blank Desktop Screen when Booting up

After my install of SL, I'm getting a blank desktop screen when it starts up. Every once in a while I'll get the log on screen, but when I try to log on it gives me the spinning ball of death.
I can boot my laptop with safe mode, but thats about it.

I just reran the install process by holding Option at startup and it worked.

How to blank laptop screen when using external monitor/

I need some help with figuring out how to configure my xorg.conf for my Arch Linux 64 bit installation on a HP Pavilion dv 5000 laptop so that I can automatically blank my laptop screen when using an external monitor. I have Arch Linux installed along with Ubuntu Feisty. In Ubuntu my external monitor (Viewsonic 1912WB) was not detected at the time of installation but with the native 1280X800 resolution that is good for the laptop takes effect for the external monitor automatically when the external monitor is plugged in. The laptop monitor goes blank when the external monitor is plugged in.
In my Arch Linux installation I have not been able to configure a dual head configuration using the ATI Radeon drivers (fglrx). I have the native 1280X800 resolution set up for the laptop monitor and this resolution takes effect for the external monitor also. However the laptop monitor also continues to function when the external monitor is plugged in. I would like to blank the laptop monitor when using the external monitor.
I am attaching my Arch Linux xorg.conf and the Ubuntu xorg.conf below. Thanks for anyone who can help, I am having a lot of difficulty in figuring out how to set up xorg.conf among all the things that I have had to learn so far in Linux and I am a relative newcomer to the whole thing. Xrandr 1.2 provides means for this. But today the only supported configuration is xorg-server-1.3 + xf86-video-intel-2.0. So for Radeon you'll have to wait for drivers that support Randr 1.2.
On my laptop (Thinkpad x60s) that would be:
xrandr --output VGA --auto
xrandr --output LVDS --off

How to get blank TV screen when playing music

I am using Apple TV to stream my iTunes music to my television.
What setting do I need to make my television screen completely blank when playing music?

That was an advantage of ATV1 - analogue audio out (and component video, and the hard drive, and iTunes Extras/LP....I'll stop there ).
No reason trhey couldn;t potentially add as an option though:
