Complex scenario....Can anyone Help...

Question

There is Report havin
year,product,revenue as coloumn
2000,s,300
2001,a,100
2002,b,200
prompt is created on year and in drop down Value wen u click on year 2001 from drop down we get only 2001's data , but requirement is wen u click on 2001 you should get previous year's revenue in report.

Hi ,
I new for OBI and implemented same steps what you posted but i am getting error
steps i did as follows
1> First i created a dashboard prompt for year and i created presentation variable (P_Year)
2> I created (Year,Product_cat,Amount_sold) and in year column---> Filter--->ADD--->sql Expression--->in the box---> @{P_year} -1
3>After completing the above steps when i generated the report it is showing error as below
State: HY000. Code: 10058. [NQODBC] [SQL_STATE: HY000] [nQSError: 10058] A general error has occurred. [nQSError: 27002] Near <@>: Syntax error [nQSError: 26012] . (HY000)
SQL Issued: {call NQSGetLevelDrillability('SELECT TIMES.CALENDAR_YEAR saw_0, PRODUCTS.PROD_CATEGORY saw_1, SALES.AMOUNT_SOLD_D saw_2 FROM SH WHERE TIMES.CALENDAR_YEAR = @{P_Year} -1')}
4>After pulling report and prompt into the dashboard also it showing report as per the selected value in the prompt it is not showing last year data
