Compliance and Required SUP Numbers Off

I may answer my own question here but here we go. We have Office 2010 deployed to the majority of our enterprise, however, most of these also have Lync 2013 installed. We only have a handful of systems with the actual Office 2013 suite installed.
The problem I'm coming across is our systems think many of the Office 2013 updates are required (Office 2013, Word 2013, etc.). I've yet to determine whether its Lync 2013 itself or the Office Components 2013 that's tripping it up. Either way, it's throwing
off my compliance numbers. A little more background, my software update groups are broken down by workstation updates/year and server updates/year. I've toyed with the idea of creating individual software update groups that are product specific (Office 2010,
Office 2013, etc.) and only deploying them to collections limited to those specific products. However, that seems like a lot of work and wouldn't be helpful when it comes to determining the overall compliance of my environment.
My question(s):
Is there a way to keep these systems with Office 2010 & Lync 2013 from thinking they need Office 2013 updates
If the answer to the question above is no.....
How can I structure my software update groups so I can report the overall compliance numbers without having to piece together reports for individual products.

Ultimately, each system scans itself against the entire update catalog (for your enterprise) for compliance. If a system reports that it needs an update, then it needs that update based upon the scanning/requirements information given in the catalog.
There's not much more to it and it really has nothing to do with ConfigMgr even.
I guess it's always possible that there are "issues" with the catalog that are throwing the scanning off, but only Microsoft could truly answer that. I'd suggest you crack open the KB article for the updates that you think are being mis-detected and look
at the detailed requirements for the update and if you are seeing something different in your environment, you should contact CSS.

There were many topics on this after a search but I couldn't find an answer I could understand. Forgive me if I am a little slow.
I plan to buy the iPhone here in the next few days. My old Motorola RAZR V3 has bluetooth and works flawless by syncing AB with the phone by using iSync. However, none of the phone numbers from my phone (Which weren't in AB before) end up in my AB. Am I doing something wrong here?
I never used any type of sync before since I didn't need a media device but now I guess I do? Apparently iPhone has a new built in SIM card and I can't transfer my numbers if I don't do this?

That happens if you've got your contacts stored on your SIM card in the RAZR. Transfer them to your phone, then they'll magically appear in address book. I've found as well that for some reason the bluetooth pairing in address book doesn't do much, iSync does though.

Well, there is nothing specific in this configuration which is applicable only for Spain. However, in FI, especially with bank processing and tax regulations, there are several specific developments (some of them are represented by notes) which should be taken into consideration with every project in Spain.
To start SAP project during the year is a normal thing and requires regular cut-off procedure; there are no specifics for any country.

You can turn Find My iPad 'off' by going to http://icloud.com and logging into your account, select the iPad from the device list in the 'Find My iPhone' section on that site, and 'remove from account'

How do I take cell phone numbers off of my iCloud account.

I have all of my devices under the same accounts, both itunes and icloud. I originally used the smae itunes account on all my family member devices so that we could share all of our purchases. And the same cloud account so that we can share calanders and photostream(which has been very useful). But now Im finding out that I can select my wifes or daughters phone number and receive their imessages on my phone, or my ipad, air etc... I dont want to be tempted to read their messages and I certainly dont want them reading mine. Is there any way to manage my icloud addresses and pull our cellular numbers off the list so that no one can read each others messages. Ive been reading many similar posts on this forum but am surprised to find that no one else has the same problem.

iMessage is separate from your iCloud account and does not use or even require an iCloud account. To avoid getting each others text messages, just have everyone use a different Apple ID for iMessage (it doesn't need to be the same as thier iCloud ID). Have your other family members go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive on their devices, tap the ID, sign out, then sign in with separate IDs to keep everyone's text messages separated. To avoid getting each other's FaceTime calls, have them do the same thing in Settings>FaceTime.

That's super odd. It could be an indication or a damaged or dying hard drive. I would recommend doing a disk diagnostic on the iPod's HD using the instructions given by turingtest2 in this older thread. He also covers what the resulting numbers indicate.

Hey, There are afew things you can try.
- Simply turn your phone off and back on again
- Hold down your home button and your lock button and let goes as soon as the screen goes black (Phone will power down) - Then turn on your phone and hey presto!
- Back up your iPhone to your PC, then restore it..
this ones last cause I think you may have tried it already..
- Close all open applications

As of about 2 weeks ago the mac users can no longer read the page numbers they get a font error message and see only -- where the page information should be. The pc users do not have this same problem. When I replace our regular font (URW Grotesk) with a system font (Verdana) everyone is able to read the page numbers. This is a new issues, I have been creating these documents in the same way for years without a problem. I have been on hold and on and off calls for the last two hours, I keep getting hung up on once I find someone in adobe support to talk to!

What and HOW to turn off everything but Mainstage/Logic

Hey, I'll be using mainstage 2 in a live show tomorrow evening. Everything is set up and working perfectly, but I heard that it was advisable to to find anything and everything else on my mac that was not required to run Mainstage 2 and turn it off. Obvious things... airport, mobile me sync, etc. Is there a master list somewhere of all the stuff that can and should be turned off to optimize system performance?

"Sleep" and "lock" are the same thing where an iPhone is concerned. The only other option is passcode lock.

Requirement : Align MM and FI Document Numbers in Logistics Invoice Verification
Followed all the steps as per the SAP documentation : Materials Management > Logistics Invoice Verification > Incoming Invoice > Number Assignment > Maintain Number Assignments for Accounting Documents
As per the SAP documentation the configuration done should be enough to pass on MM Document No to FI document. But its not working as expected.
I have done the following:
1. Assigned MM and FI documents the same number range and both are in sync.
2. MM Documents are configured to be internally generated,
3. FI Documents are configured to be externally generated.
While during MIRO system generates errror and tells "Accouting Doc number are externally configured" (Not remembe the exact error) ? What is the solution for this issue. I need to align the MM and FI Document Numbers in Logistics Invoice Verification.
Gone through articles on internet and all discuss the same steps and configuration.

Following step should be missing in your system:-
*Step 4. Update MM number range assignment. The last step is to assign the MM number range to your MM transaction via IMG menu path Materials Management>Logistics Invoice Verification>Incoming Invoice>Number Assignment>Maintain Number Assignments for Logistic Documents>Transaction - Assign Number ranges. Two transactions are available. LIV contains the following two internal transactions that are used for the MM document number determination:
u2022RD: manual invoice entry (MIRO)
u2022RS: cancel, reverse invoice (MR8M), evaluated receipt settlement (MRRL), EDI invoice receipt, invoicing plan (MRIS), and revaluation (MRNB).
You need to update the number range interval for transaction RD.*

BB Curve 8900 - randomly stops receiving emails and requires battery pull

I'm a newb to BB and this forum has helped a lot but my BB Curve 8900 randomly stops receiving emails about every 2 days and requires a battery pull to correct.
When it stops receiving emails and I go to the browser, it is also unable to connect. I basically lose all connection to data. I can receive calls and sms.
Turning unit off and on does not help.
I need to do a battery pull. Then starts working fine right away.
I'm with Rogers in Canada
Is there a fix for this? Could I possibly have a bad phone? Battery pull once is a while is fine but to need to do that every 2 days is not.

Something similar happens to me. I have to keep resending the service books and then it works fine, try this, at least it will stop you keep doing a hard reset. I have read somewhere else that this can be influenced by having your phone to turn off at night etc. So for now I have turned this feature off. I can actually receive emails via wifi and the failure is only on GPRS. It sounds a bit strange but I am also becoming convinced that it only occurs when I leave home, go somewhere else and then come back.

WRT54G Disconnects and REQUIRES a Power on Reset

My WRT54G disconnects once per day and requires a power on reset to get it back on line. It's version 6 with the most recent firmware.
After a wonderful chat session with Linksys this AM and then a subsequent email to Support, I've received NO satisfaction.
Anyone have a suggestion as to a solution???? I'm at my second warning and about to be banished!!!!
The router crashes each and every day and it seems to be DIRECTLY related to how much the kids use the wireless connection - you see they were gone for two weeks and there were NO (ZERO) crashes, they came home and started to use the wireless connectivity and BINGO, I'm pulling the plug on the WRT faster than OnnagokorO and his cohorts can edit/delte my posts.
Please, please tell me there's an answer.

To dtv --- my guess is that the kids are running some high bandwidth program that makes multiple simultaneous Internet connections. This tends to use a lot of memory in the router, causing it to crash. Many programs can cause this, but it is common in peer to peer networking programs, such as BitTorrent.
If this is the case, limit the number of simultaneous connections that BitTorrent can make.
Please also note that Linksys recently posted a firmware upgrade that should help with BitTorrent problems.
