Compliance Policy Center - Document Deletion Policies option is not yet enabled

Hello,
I have configured Compliance Policy Center for my Online tenant. Created a policy and assigned it to a Site Collection.
I am trying to view policy assigned to Site Collection from Site Settings > Document Deletion Policies (as mentioned in
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn790608.aspx ) however this setting is not yet displayed. technet article says, it takes 24 hours once you assign a policy, but its almost
a week have been spent. Still not yet displayed.
Kindly assist me to get it done.

As a common practice, it is recommended to dig into the ULS logs cause it will give us more details about this issue. However, as it is an online environment hosted in the cloud by Microsoft, there is
no method to get the log files from client side.
Since this is an issue more relate to Office 365 SharePoint Online, I suggest you open a thread in Office 365 forum, you will get more help and confirmed answers there:

I created a new PO using ME21N, added the F03 Text on item level for item 10. Then i pushed print preview and debugged right into my coding.
Values for LS_HEADER were:

and still i got sy-subrc = 4 and no result.

Florian, Have you checked the possibility of using the BADI "ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST" to achieve this ? Most of the methods in this badi uses the parameters of type IF_PURCHASE_ORDER_MM. May be you can use the methods IF_LONGTEXTS_MMGET_TEXTOBJECT, IF_LONGTEXTS_MMGET_TYPES, IF_LONGTEXTS_MM~GET_TEXT of the interface IF_PURCHASE_ORDER_MM.
I didn't tried this with PO, but simliar kind of BADI worked properly with Purchase requisition. Wiki post [Purchase Requisition Header Long Text using Badi - ME_PROCESS_REQ_CUST|http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/ABAP/PurchaseReq.HeaderLongTextusingBadi-ME_PROCESS_REQ_CUST] may be helpful.

You can't. You'll have to contact the previous owner to have them do it or give you their credentials. If you cannot contact them or they are unwilling to provide you with that info, then you are out of luck.

You entered profit center FD999 or transferred it from a previous transaction, such as material receipt from an external order. However, the system derived profit center DUMMY from the account assignments.
System Response
The system automatically determines the profit center from the assigned profitability segment, cost center, order, project, network, sales order, or cost objects. This overrides the profit center you entered manually.
Procedure
To post the data to profit center FD999, assign the profitability segment, cost center or other object to that profit center as well.
If the posting to profit center DUMMY is correct, no further action is necessary.
This message is sent as an error in the standard system. You can make the message a warning or deactivate it entirely in Customizing. Use the Implementation Guide under "Controlling: General" and choose Change message control. Enter area KI and message number 339.

Reverse/ Delete an Actual Profit Center Document

If the profit center document is being generated from the other modules, meaning that
through FI
through MM
through SD
you need to reverse them in the original modules.
If you have posted 9KE0 specifically within PCA, you need to post the reversal document again in PCA.
Please let me know what is Origin or these PCA documents.

How to make the cost center or WBS field optional for Vendor/customer line?

Dear experts:
Does anyone has the experience of releasing WBS or cost center fields to be optional for the customer or vendor line item?
I've tested in system, neither the field status control in GL account master data nor the FSG in posting key worked, I can't let the WBS field to display in the screen and ready for input.
So my conclusion is that the FSG control in not completely effective for customer/vendor line, it there any other method to let WBS to be optional in custer/vendor line items?
Our purpose for changing that is that we're using joint venture accounting, we need to let users to input a cost object for system to derive joint venture information. please do not suggest deriving JV information using other methods, because we're dealing with a special case, i.g. in a cross-company document, only a customer/vendor line in our company, so it's impossible to split JV information from offset lines, anyway, please help me out directly with my issue.

If I understand your question correctly, you want to modify the FSG of recociliation account of Vendor/Customer to make sure Cost Center/WBS field display in transaction F-22/F-43 for example, right?
I am not sure whether it is possible, I also tried in ECC6.0 but failed to show these two fields. And I think that doesn't make sense to assign CO object to AP/AR reconciliation account, but assign it to Revenue/Expense account in following line items.
And You can use New General Ledger functionality Document Splitting to derive corresponding CO object information to Reconciliation Account line item, but it is enabled only in General Ledger level, not in subledger level.
If you find any other meaningful solution, please also share with us.

Document Library document delete using Event Receiver

Please suggest your solution for the following scenario:
A user deletes the document from document library and an e-mail has to be triggered to the admin notifying the information about the document deleted recently along with the option to Approve\Reject. If the Admin approves it, the document stays in Recycle Bin
and if Rejected, the document gets restored to the document library.
I came across some articles about 'event receiver' which can trigger an e-mail but couldn't find any coding for the recycle bin and deletion. Is there any other workaround to implement the same?

In that case, Instead of the deleting the file through code, you can send to recycle using the SPFile.Recycle and SP.CopyTo method.

Exception in a compliance policy

Hello all,
As part of my operational compliance policy definition, I want to create a policy and deploy it to a set of servers. for ex:
I want to create a policy for a collection of windows servers to disable SMTP service on all of them but create an exception within the policy to identify the 'SMTP server' itself so the mail server can send emails while others shouldn't (perhaps a poor
example to explain my scenario but I hope you understood where I want to go)
But while creating my compliance policy in sccm 2012, I did not find an option to create any kind of exception. I did some research and all I came across was firewall exceptions or something similar but even then, it was not done within the 'compliance settings'
but rather in a GPO policy or other places.

It's not "straight forward", it's by in general design of how ConfigMgr works:
You do things that you want to deploy (applications, baselines..)
You deploy your things to the targets (collections)
There's always the thing you want to do and the target where you want your thing to be done.

Gnome-control-center - User deleting not working,

Using gnome shell, I am trying to delete a user I created for test using the same gnome-control-center; but trying to delete it now but when I press the delete key gnome-control-center crash with the option to delete files - and if I choose to keep the file an error come up: "Failed to delete user - Method "DeleteUser" with signature "x" on interface "org.freedesktop.Accounts" doesn't exist"

Profit center document

How and why line items of a profit center document can be deleted.
I have a profit center document with no line items. Does this mean some one has deleted the line items or profit center document is created with out any line items ??

If it is authorization problem, then first go to 9KE9
Then once you get the error, you open another session with /OSU53
This is give you list of authorization objects / authorization values that are missing. You can forward this screen shot to your security team, they should be able to help you.

B&C Error when deploying lots of updates "Failed to delete policies compiled by TaskSequence (0x80041032)"

We are having an issue with a Win7 B&C that I can't seem to get around at the moment.
The B&C TS goes something like this :
Apply Image - Win7 vanilla install that has been captured with all deployed updates on it.
Install Standard Apps - Various standard apps including Office and Lync etc.
Apply Updates - There are a number of these because of the amount of apps installed.
Prepare Config Manager Client & OS
Capture Image
The TS seems to fail at the Prepare Config Manager Client stage and gives the error :
Failed to delete policies compiled by TaskSequence (0x80041032)
I've read around about the problem and it seemed to suggest that this is a problem when there are too many updates being applied but it was solved with SP1. We are running 2012 SP1 CU3 but we are still seeing the problem.
Some of the posts suggest dividing the B&C TS into multiple TS's to solve this but we have already divided it into 4 different sections and are seeing the issue still. I am also tried offline servicing to reduce the number of updates but as this
doesn't do Office updates etc it's only of limited use.
Below is the smsts.log file (section with the errors).
Is anyone else seeing this issue or have any thoughts on what it might be?

Profit Center Documents for Asset accounts

Hi
Can someone please assist me with my problem.
For documents created from the depreciation run. The fi document is created and the profit center document is created. But it only has the lines for the expense and not the balance sheet side.
if I use 1ke8 it shows that it has been done already which is correct but not all the lines. I have also used the reversal option, it reverses the document and creates it again but with the same lines.
Should the balance sheet side which is the accumulated depreciation lines not be determined depending on the cost center assigned to the asset??
How can I rectify this???

Hello Richard，
I I think The problem is caused by missing customizing in trx. ACSET. the profit center can not be directly assigned to assets in asset master data. Therefore it has to be derived from cost center that is linked to asset.
To derive the cost center on FI document and then onto NewGL, it is necessary to:
1) set cost center field 'optional' in field status (trx. OB14 & OB41)
2) set cost center as account assignment at trx. ACSET

Change text field in profit center document

Hi,
We have a requirement like whenever we changed the text field for an accounting document, it should change the text field of relevant profit center document also.
Is there a way to get this change automatically in profit center document.
There was no change option for profit center documents, so we are not able to change the text manually in profit center document.
Let us know if there is any possibility to change the text field in profit center document.
also suggest me, if there is any user exit available for this purpose.

Document deletion - MCDOKDEL

Hello Friends,
I have a problem with document deletion in SAP DMS.
Documents were marked with deletion indicator which i deleted with report MCDOKDEL. These documents are no longer available in the system (no result with CV03N). Document hierarchy was maintained for these docuemnts.
These documents are still visible in document hierarchy (with decription deleted) under superior document. I want to permanently remove these document records from the system. Please help.

The activities to delete the doucment are all correct. Kindly check in the transaction SE38 as soon as when you Enter
MCDOKDEL, here you can find the system gives three options as Document Type, Test Mode, and Execute Checks. When u want
to delete the document from the system then u should not mark for TEST MODE option.
After doing this activity kind now check the Hierrarchy u will find only one document. so kindly, DONOT MARK "x" IN THE
TEST MODE.

Park Document delete authorization

Dear All,
We want that business users should not be able to delete the park document created with MIR7.
Is there any authorization control so that users should be able to create/change the park document but cannot delete the document.

I also tried with different options but could not find authorization object which restricts only delete option.
Also, I need suggestion whether this is ok to remove delete authorization form all users (may be through a custom authorization object)
Reason is that there are scenarios such as below where delete is the option we need to choose. Delete functionality is integrated with standard system design. -
a) different number range if park document is posted in different financial year, so we need to delete the park document or it is automatically deleted while posting.
b) If document is parked in different Company Code than the purchase order Company Code, such park document needs to be deleted as posting will not be allowed.
Kindly suggest.
