Component activation in cmod for datasource enchancements

HI GURU,
iam a facing a problem with component activation in cmod for datasource enchancments.in components screen i am unabel to get tick mark on imp column for component "EXIT_SAPLRSAP_002", give to that i am not able to write code in include .

If it is standard it is not allowed to write a code if u wwant edit are write a code go to SE80 and create new once and add into that 002 include program. XRsR and select function group.
SE80----REpository Browser--Select Function group in droup down list -XRSR----Add into includes

I want to activate cost center component in a controlling area(tcode okkp). So I want to know what does mean " 2 component active for validations", and the difference with " 1 component active". It seems that co document will not be created when I choose "2 component active for validations".

1 - Active
CCA is active without limitation. Cost centers are validated against the cost center master. They can be used as account assignment objects. The CO files are updated on posting.
2 - Active for validations
CCA is not active. Cost centers are validated against the cost center master. The cost centers can be used as account assignment objects but the relevant CO files are not updated on posting. If CCA is implemented at a later date, you can subsequently post the cost-relevant business transactions in cost centers to the relevant CO files (OKBA, OKBB, OKBC).
So when you set the activation status to 1, you can post CO documents, and when you set the status to 2, co CO documents will be created but you can set CO objects on posting lines and these CO objects will be validated. This ensures, when you activate CCC at a later date, then these postings can be re-posted to CO.

Transaction code RSA1LEAD YOU TO MODELLING
1. Creation of Info Objects
In left panel select info object
Create info area
Create info object catalog ( characteristics & Key figures ) by right clicking the created info area
Create new characteristics and key figures under respective catalogs according to the project requirement
Create required info objects and Activate.
2. Creation of Data Source
In the left panel select data sources
Create application component(AC)
Right click AC and create datasource
Specify data source name, source system, and data type ( Transaction data )
In general tab give short, medium, and long description.
In extraction tab specify file path, header rows to be ignored, data format(csv) and data separator( , )
In proposal tab load example data and verify it.
In field tab you can you can give the technical name of info objects in the template and you not have to map during the transformation the server will automatically map accordingly. If you are not mapping in this field tab you have to manually map during the transformation in Info providers.
Activate data source and read preview data under preview tab.
Create info package by right clicking data source and in schedule tab click star to load data to PSA.( make sure to close the flat file during loading )
3. Creation of data targets
In left panel select info provider
Select created info area and right click to create ODS( Data store object ) or Cube.
Specify name fro the ODS or cube and click create
From the template window select the required characteristics and key figures and drag and drop it into the DATA FIELD and KEY FIELDS
Click Activate.
Right click on ODS or Cube and select create transformation.
In source of transformation , select object type( data source) and specify its name and source system Note: Source system will be a temporary folder or package into which data is getting stored
Activate created transformation
Create Data transfer process (DTP) by right clicking the master data attributes
In extraction tab specify extraction mode ( full)
In update tab specify error handling ( request green)
Activate DTP and in execute tab click execute button to load data in data targets.
4. Monitor
Right Click data targets and select manage and in contents tab select contents to view the loaded data. There are two tables in ODS new table and active table to load data from new table to active table you have to activate after selecting the loaded data . Alternatively monitor icon can be used.

Changes are not reflecting in BI for datasource 0CRM_CONTACT_OUT

Hi All,
I have written some code for datasource 0CRM_CONTACT_OUT (Text data source), for some language thing in CMOD where i am just checking wether the language key is english or not if not then i am modifying the Language code to english.
I have activated the code and checked that in RSA3 as well, where i am getting 3859 records and this is the total number of records as well . There are 2 fields for selection as well 1. is language key and other is changed at. So in RSA3 i have two options for selection as well.
After all this i replicated the datasource in BI system but two problems i am facing there.
1. No field is coming in selection screen at infopackage level.
2. I am getting less records than what i am getting in RSA3.
I tried every possible thing - replication, deleted the source system assignement and again re-created it. But nothing is working.
We are on 3.5 version of BI.
Any help will be apreciated.

Hi Tyagi,
Is ur issue is resolved related to the language.
1.If the fields are not appearing in the Info package selection tab:
Then u might not have marked the same in the datasource/transfer structure in the transfer rules level.
2. If the records are becoming less:
Then u need to take the same records into excel from R/3 datasource & after applying filters u check it.
Some records might be differing with the values only. In that case, the no. of records will be getting aggregated at the BW side.
I hope u might have got some idea in regard to this issue.

Goto TADIR table give program id as R3TR ,Objec type as CMOD and execute.
You will get all active exits in system.
Exits related to SD may be in ZSD package.

Help error on activation - No active nametab exists for SY

In ABAP web dynpro I create a SERVICE CALL. Everything looks ok, but when I activate this project,
it displays an error message as the following:
Web Dynpro Comp. / Intf. ZW_Test_BAPI, Web Dynpro Component Controller
No active nametab exists for SY
When I click on the error message, it brings my cursor to the import value of the component controller context.
What is going on here? Can someone help me?

I have created a BAPI and it has IMPORT and EXPORT values. I have checked the REMOTE-ENABLED MUDULE redio buttoms.
This bapi works perfectly well for Java Web Dynpro.
I now create a ABAP web dynpro and create a SERVICE CALL. Everything looks ok, but when I activate this project,

Hi Anna,
I got the same problem with a customer of mine. I'm looking for a solution but I am unable to find anything at this moment.
I thought that regenerating objects from SGEN transaction would solve this problem. Also, I've checked inactive object in SE80 transaction but nothing yet.
Could you please tell me how did you solve this?

Actual activity price calculation for production order

Can any one guide me in how many ways we can assign actual activity price calculation for production order?
I knew only one way by assigning PPP2 costing variant?
I have another doubt is: if we don't mention any material valuation indicator (moving average, standard) in valuation variant, how system will calculate material prices? is there any other way, to recognize the prices by system?

Costing variant PPP2 is linked to some valuation variant inn OPL1
System will check the valuation of material and activity according to this valuation variant
For material valuation there are many stg acceding to which system will take the price the raw material,
Valuation strategy for material component
Strategy sequence that determines the valuation of the materials used in the cost estimate.
Use
The materials are valuated using the price in the material master record or the values calculated in a material cost estimate.
Procedure
You can enter a single strategy, or you can enter multiple strategies in the form of a strategy sequence. If you enter multiple strategies, the priority of the strategy determines what price or what values are selected.
Examples
Assume that the following strategy sequence is entered for material valuation:
1. Planned price 1
2. Standard price
3. Moving average price
If the system finds a value in the Planned price 1 field (costing view), this value is taken as the value for valuating the material.
If the system does not find a value, the value in the Standard price field (accounting view) is used.
If the material does not have a standard price, the system uses the value from the Moving average price field.
if you have not mentioned, then system will give error that "valuation stg not found"
Valuation strategy for internal activities and processes-
Strategy sequence that determines how internal activities and processes are valuated in costing.
Use
The activities and business processes used are valuated with the prices from Cost Center Accounting or Activity-Based Costing to determine the production costs or process costs. The prices can either be calculated iteratively through price calculation, or entered manually by the user.
Procedure
You can enter either a single strategy or more than one strategy in the form of a strategy sequence. If you enter more than one strategy, the priority of the strategy determines which price is selected.
Examples
The following strategy sequence is entered:
1. Actual price of the previous period
2. Plan price of the previous period
3. The most current plan price
If the system finds a price for the activity type, this price is used for valuating the internal activities. If no price was calculated for the previous period, the plan price from the previous period is used to valuate the activity type.
If the system cannot find a plan price for the previous period, it looks for a future plan price, using the next price in the posting period to valuate the internal activities. For example, if plan prices have been entered for periods 2 and 3, and a plan price is calculated in period 1 for period 4, the system uses the price from period 3 in accordance with the valuation strategy Most up-to-date plan price.
Again if you have not mentioned, then system will give error that "valuation stg not found".
You can use any costing variant for actual (PPP2)and planned(PPP1) according to your requirement.. check in OPL1

Delta not working for datasource 0CRM_SRV_IBASE_TRAN

Hi All
We are facing problem with setting up delta for datasource 0CRM_SRV_IBASE_TRAN after transporting to QA system.
In QA System:
a.Initialization and Full load has worked successfully and it did fetch the
records.
b.But the newly created records are not coming through delta.
c.Moreover delta is working in Dev but not in QA environment. All the transports
have gone in successfully from Dev to QA system.
d.Only difference we found between dev & QA is: Datasource not listed in SMQ1(Outbound Queue) whereas it is listed in Dev System
We have already checked & ensure that following things are in order:
Source System Checks:
1.Init successfully in place. Entry present in RSA7.
2.SMW01 checked.
3.BWA5 & BWA7 checked.
4.GNRWB checked
5.No entry present in SMQ1 in QA system but its present in Dev system???
BW Checks:
6.Datasource replication done. Info source activated.
Would appreciate any help on this.

Hi Pramod,
SMQ1 will only show an entry, when there are available data for the delta queue, i.e. someone has made a change or added new data.So checking RSA7 and SMQ1 will give the same result, if RSA7 shows more than 0 entries.
The problem may be the init. What init did you do: an init with data, or an init without data, or an init with a filter. Experience with our CRM system tells me, best way to initialize any CRM data is to do a full data init (without filter) or a init without data (without filter). I wonder about the FULL load you mentioned ? When did you do it ?

Data Extraction.Init & Delta for datasource 0CRM_CONF_COSTS ControllingData

Dear Experts,
We are facing problem with Data Extraction for BW. Prerequisites all checked and done.
No data for Initial & Delta upload for datasource 0CRM_CONF_COSTS,
0CRM_SRV_CO_PLAN and 0CRM_C_ITEM
Other related data source 0CRM_SRV_COSTS and 0CRM_SERVICE_COSTS we are getting data.
Request your help on this issue.

yes we did enhancement to this data source. In PRDOCTION its taking 27 hours time to load data.
For extraction from source system (CRM) its taking nearly 24 hours time as per JOb LOG .

MPEG2 Component activation as normal user

Our users with normal privileges (non admins) using ADOBE Premiere Elements 12 on Windows 7 64-Bit are running in to UAC when MPEG2 Component activation happens.Does there exists any possibility to preinstall this component (and even others) during silent installation of ADOBE Premiere Elements 12 (happens with SCCM 2012 as lokal admin)?

Thanks for your answer - I am coming from a company with a volume license agreement and silent installation of PRE 12 works fine. The only problem is as mentioned the UAC when MPEG2 Component activation happens (during/after rendering). If a "normal" user cancels the UAC (trying to register the two files C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Elements 12\mc_dec_mpa_ds.ax and C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Elements 12\32\mc_dec_mp2v_ds.ax), rendering works anyway and no UAC appears in future!? Giving the necessary permissions on this files doesn't work...
Unfortunately Adobe Chat for me is unusable!

1. make sure that your datasources have activated (trans RSA5 in SAP Source System) from the SAP Source system (Ex: R/3 or SCM System)
2. after that you have to run trans RSA9 in SAP Source System to transfer new datasource in to BI System.
3. log-on into BI System, run trans RSA1, choose SourceSystem Tab in the left panel. Right click on to your SAP Source System then choose Replicate.
4. in the left panel choose BI Content tab, select infoObjects by infoArea.
5. then Click on Grouping, select in Dataflow Before and afterward. Click Collection Mode, select Collect Automatically.
6.in the middle panel, expand "Supply Chain Management" infoArea, select both Characteristics: Logistics General and Key Figures: Logistics General. Right click on it and select Insert Objects for Collections.
7. After the objects have been inserted into Collected Objects then choose install with option Install in Background.
8. Wait for the result.

No PSA exists for DataSource 0ROUTE_TEXT

When executing a Adobe Interactive [web Dynpro for Java application on IE6.0 and Adobe 7.0.9, I am getting the following info in the log "resourceBundle=java.util.PropertyResourceBundle@6ada73d0, locale=en, key=SAPUR_AX_ALT, string=Due to browser or system restrictions, this active component (Active X) cannot be installed, executed or displayed". Instead of PDF form I am getting a blank page [with no errors in the log], can you please help me out.
I have followed the notes 766191 and 834573 but with no success.

Has anyone had this kind of a problem? There is no other error in the log, IE comes up with a blank page [no embedded pdf in it]. Sometimes IE allows to download the "unknown.pdf" file but it does not embed, I feel its a clear Active X problem, please help me out.
We are having windows 64bit, NW04s SP11 and ADs is also at the same level EP7.0 SP11 with patch1.
And the client is Windows XP IE6.0 SP2
