Component and text not visible in dashboard

Hi expert,
After launching Dashboard in BI Portal Calender component and Button text and normal was not displaying.
Dashboard Design layout component is displayed.
After launching calender component text,button text,normal text was not displaying
there is no dynamic visibility applied.
Please help me what is issues

it is running on Internet explore and not running on Chrome,,

they are seeing the application in planning. they created a scenario dimension containing , budget, actual and forecast.. but in the planing application they can only see budget. the rest 2 are not visible.

Vendor text not visible in SAP R/3

Hello All,
When a purchase order is created in SRM with additional text - ie. Vendor text. ( Either at item or header level) This text is not visible when viewing the purchase order in SAP R/3.Does it not come default ??? i am expecting the text to be reflected In the text tab in the item detail section.
Does it require any BADI or config for the same to reflect in R/3

Hi
You can transfer the long text to the backend through the R/3 backend bbp_po_inbound_badi. Your code must be placed in the BBP_MAP_BEFORE_BAPI method.
Use any of the SRM BADIs :
1) BBP_ECS_PO_OUT_BADI
2) BBP_CREATE_BE_PO_NEW
3) BBP_CREATE_PO_BACK
4) BBP_LONGTEXT_BADI

Pages to PDF export and text not showing

I exported a pages document from Pages to PDF and I can not see the text???
Font is Tex Gyre Adventor and it is in the color white with a shadow and a tangerine box backdrop

I'm not sure exactly why this happened, but I think I might have some reasons why.
Maybe try changing the color of your text to another color instead of white and see if that works. Or maybe try changing the background from tangerine to something else and see if anything changed once it is converted to a PDF.
Another reason is maybe you did it completely wrong when you converted it. I'll explain how to, incase you completed any steps incorrectly.
1) At the top of your screen, press "File" then "Export". At the top, make sure the "PDF" option is selected and not anything else like "Word" or "ePub" or any of the other options.
2) Select the image quality. Perhaps adjusting this to "Best Quality" rather than just "Good" will help in being able to see the white text. I don't know, just a suggestion.
3) Press "Next" which should be flashing in a light blue color.
4) Save your PDF where you want it and call it what you want.
5) Now press "Export"
6) Open the PDF document and see if anything changed.
Sorry if I haven't been much help but just see if that works.
Another thing I will suggest is to try printing it out and seeing if the text is visible and that might help out.
I'd also suggest, finally, start all over again with converting and follow the steps above, and see if anything changes.

Why is my text not visible in text boxes?

I have a set of text boxes that I have used throughout my book as little sidebars providing tips to the reader. These text boxes lay out beautifully within iBook Author. When I preview on my iPad, the text within these boxes becomes invisible. The text is still there — if I double tap on the iPad to use the search function, the text can be selected and shows up in the search box, but is still invisible.
I am hoping this is some kind of user error on my part that can be easilly corrected. It appears to affect all two dozen tips I have inserted into the doccument. However, when I create a new text box it seems to function fine, even when following all the same steps to lay it out. You will see this in the green box in I stuck in example for the purposes of obtaining your help. (Please help! )
All the affected text boxes were cut and pasted from the original, so perhaps I set something wrong? It's odd that the preview does not match the iPad layout.

It may also be noteworthy that as the preview loads into the iPad, the text is visible, then vanishes as soon as the upload is complete. The small page previews on the ipad when 'zoomed out' to the overview also show the text, though when you go to the page it is still blank. Here is what the small page view looks like:

Did you confirm the text/box is 'to the front'...on the top of everything in that same location? Should work if so.

Yes. Font, style and color (black, white, grey, green purple) do not appear to have any effect.
Are the boxes anchored graphics...
No, they are free floating but the problem persists if I anchor them.
and is the text in a box on top of the graphic?
No, the text is integrated. The box was made by creating a text box.
Even with different answers, this problem should not occur — if the text were hidden behind something, it should show that way within the program and the small preview, no?

DW8 text not visible in design view

I have imported a site from DWMX(6?) to DW8.
In DWMX everything is visible in design view.
In DW8 the text is NOT visible in design view unless I switch off rendering using CSS (Display Styles Off), but displays fine in a browser.
If I switch off rendering using CSS I can see and edit the text but it is not remotely WYSIWYG
The pages are created from templates and were originally created using DW4 or DW3.

It means that your selector "font verdana" is not a legal selector. It says to find all "verdana" tags that are descendents of a font tag. Clearly there is no valid HTML tag called "verdana". If it was your intention to create a rule that would allow you to format text as verdana, or geneva or sans-serif, then that would have to be done with a CLASS selector, e.g.,
.font_verdana { font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; }
Note the leading 'dot' and the underscore - spaces are not allowed in selector names.

JTree - dashed lines and + and - icons not visible

...the icons of the nodes are displayed correctly, but the dashed lines to visualize the level of a node and the + and - icons for collapsed or not collapsed nodes are not visible. I am using Windows LAF. What's wrong ?

2) What is the Image URI?
3) Snapshot of the Structure window, property inspector window?
4) Are you using any switcher?

while creating production order with co01 i entered long text in longtext tab of the production order
after that in display mode co03 that long text is not visilbe. tell me why and what are the setting required.

i enter total quantiy 1 and scheduling type current date in genaral tab

Security text not visible

Trying to place classified ad on craigslist and at the "confirm ad" page it asks you to "type each of the following words into the box" and continue. These security text are not visible....no box, text...nothing. Seems as though it happens only on the craigslist site.

There are also extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) that can block images.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

Digital graph cursor text not visible after build

We are using Labview 2011. Our application has been using digital graphs, with cursor text to define digital transition information since Labview 7.1. We have ported our application to Labview 2011 (and also 8.6.1 in which it works fine). While in the Labview development environment, the cursor text displays correctly. However when we build it, and run the .exe, we cannot see the cursor text. Our debugging efforts have been in vain - the xy locations are correct, but the cursor text is not visible.
We want to standardize our next version software on 2011 (even though the Labview 2011 version is 4x larger and 2.2 x slower than the Labview 7.1 version) because we need x64 support, and want to run in Linux as well. We have spent considerable time trying to find out what is wrong, but the debugging time is very long to go through the thought - build - run cycle.
Any help on why this might be would be gratefully appreciated.

Droid Mini notifications for email and text not working

I am having a problem with notification sounds not working for email and text messages with my Droid Mini. I took my original phone to the Verizon shop. They did a factory reset. Sound worked for two days. Went back to Verizon and they reset it again. But they did tell me if it happened again to call Verizon and they would send me a new phone. Well it happened again. Got my new phone just last week. Well yesterday and today the sound notifications for text messages and email is not working on the new phone. Last night I powered the phone off and back on and all was working well until this morning.
This is very upsetting as I really do like this phone. Would like to know what is going on with it. Have checked all the volumes and they are all up.
Is there a fix for this.

For Gmail it is: open Gmail > menu > settings > your gmail address > notifications check box is unchecked.
There are some additional notification options for labels too.

Lightbox Gallery previous and next not visible

I'm still looking for a solution to the other Lightbox Gallery question I posted earlier, but in the meantime I've copied files from the application support folder mentioned before and have the gallery working up to a point.
It works perfectly well locally in Dreamweaver Live View but having uploaded the files to the server the gallery functions without displaying the Previous, Next or Close tabs. They're active but not visible which makes me think there is a failure to load the icons

Looks like you need to fix the links to those images in your javascript.
You have a mix of "images" and "Images" for the directory names in the links. It looks like your actual folder is capital "i" Images. Your local files will work fine, because your OS sees no difference between "images" and "Images" however your server treats them as two different directories so you're getting 404 File Not Found errors because it is looking for a directory that doesn't exist
File names should be all lower case with no special characters ($%&* etc). You should also use hyphens and underscores instead of spaces to avoid issues like this.

Previous bean modification next and modification not visible

I have a succession of jsf pages. On the first I set values of my managed bean then I click next. On the second I set other values. If I return on the first page and change the values I reinitialize the values of the second page but if I click on the next button the changes are not visible.
If someone can help me it will be great.

Baltaar, this is very frustrating. Either I am not making myself clear, or you are not listening. Please search the forums for pop-ups, follow the link I already gave you, and fix your JavaScript. I'm convinced you are simply not executing things in the right order, or are resetting values after the response has already been committed.
Here's why... The following code works for me.
Page1 just has a next button on it. I click it to get to a second page.
Page2 has a selectBooleanCheckbox, and a back button. Page2:

Top component in JLayeredPane not visible but there

I'm using a JLayeredPane to overlay a component in a corner on top of another.
When the top component is a JLabel, everything works fine. When I switch it to be the (third party) component (JComponent) I want to use, the component is invisible (not being painted) but I can tell from the mouse over handling that it is there - I just can't see it. I can confirm this by drawing a border around it - I see the border but not the internals.
Presumably the problem is somewhere in the component's paint stuff. Same component works fine when it's not in an overlay.
I have no hope of the component vendor helping me out. I can imagine some ghastly workaround using a Popup, but is there anything else I can try??

Nope, I have no source. And yes, it is obfuscated. Though needless to say I would never dream of decompiling it either ;-)
It is in the right place. That's validated twice, once by swapping it for a JLabel and again by the fact that I can recognize from the mouse over handling that it is there (or thinks it is). Same answers apply for the component bounds.
T'is a real bummer!
