Component number demand in MD04 missing

A packaging number in a material bom has stopped generating demand in MD04.  It is still in the BOM and has all of the settings that other material’s packaging numbers have.  When a MD41 is ran for the material a summary of components is listed, and that packaging number is not calculated, or listed.  Why has this one particular packaging number stopped generating demand?

If the master data has not been changed and you have deleted and recreated the BOM, then there is little else that can be causing the problem.
Is there any difference in the stock levels of each material?
Create a planning file entry for the component with MD20 and set the NETCH flag on (and the other flags too, to make sure that it will be included in the next MRP run)
Also check the settings on the MRP run, make sure that the planning mode is a 2 or ideally a 3, so that the BOM for the main material will be re-exploded.

    I cannot comment on PrE 3, as I did not start until PrE 4. With the latter, when one went to use one of the modules, they were automatically "registered." Based on comments in the Help file, I asked pretty much this same question, back then. All was done automatically, in PrE 4.
    Maybe those, familiar with PrE 3, can be of help to you.

  • Gap in ibase component number by using FM 'CRM_IBASE_COMP_CREATE'

    i've created a program which creates components for existing IBase from a flat file.
    For the creation im using the fm 'CRM_IBASE_COMP_CREATE' and it's working fine.
    The problem right now is, that is have a gap in the component number. For instance i create 3 components for one IBase and the component numbers than are 9001, 9003, 9005.
    Anybody knows why i have that gap??

    Good day!
    After applying SP18 on Solution Manager I have encountered a problem: iBase component number for productive ERP-system has changed three times.
    (first it was 50, then 250, then 268, now 691).
    Right now the process for keeping up to date information about
    satellite systems in Solution Manager is following:
    1.All system data is stored at System Landscape Directory (SLD).
    2.Once an hour it's automatically transfered to SMSY in Solution Manager via
    scheduled task - RSGET_SMSY.
    3.After that (or every time SMSY is saved) iBase is updated.
    Main question is, why did existing iBase component (productive ERP was
    always in list of iBase components) change its number?
    How to prevent this from happening in the future?

    Please check weather ibase is generated for the development system in IB52, Check the Note 1284794 - SMSY: IBase generation cannot be deactivated.
    if Ibase is created for the development system , go to DSWP and the solution that u have maintained the satelite system and do the initial data transfer for Ibase(path would be edit->initial data transfer for Ibase)

    There is an functionality in APO - DP module called "Forecasting with Bills of Material". You need create DP-BOM (PDS/PPM) from R/3.

  • Message with IDOC number, created by LSMW, missing in job log in SM37

    Hi gurus,
    We have a temporary interface which uses LSMW to create IDOCs and update in SAP. It's used for materials, BOMs and document info records. In LSMW we have defined standard message types MATMAS_BAPI, BOMMAT and DOCUMENT_LOAD for the IDOCs. All these have the same problem.
    A background job runs and starts LSMW. In the job log in SM37 I want to see which IDOCs were created. For some reason this is different in my development system and my test system, and as far as I know all settings should be the same. In the test system LSMW creates more message lines in the job log, than it does in the dev system. Message number E0-097 is "IDOC XXXX added", and this is missing in the dev system.
    This is what it looks like in the dev system:

    In both cases the IDOC is created and update works fine.
    My only issue is that I can't see the IDOC number in the dev system. I know I can get the IDOC number in WE02, but in this case we have program logic which reads the job log to be able to check IDOC status before sending OK message back to the other side of the interface.
    I hope any of you can have an idea how I can update somewhere to get message E0-097 with IDOC number into the log.

    Hi Arun,
    If you want to show your messages in the job log you have to use the MESSAGE statement. In case you use WRITE statements an output list be created which can be found in the spool (there is an icon to go to the spool directly).

  • BAPI to create demands on MD04

    Hello,
    Can anyone direct me to a BAPI that will create the demands for a Goods Issue of a material to a subcontractor?  I need the demands to show up in MD04 and ME2O.
    I plan to use the FM CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2  to explode a subcontracting BOM and then use a BAPI to create the demands for a GI to the subcontractor.
    Any ideas?

    Thanks for the response.
    In this case, I am trying to get a kanban that uses a scheduling agreement with subcontracting to work.
    Standard SAP does not allow scheduling agreements and subcontracting to work together.  The other option is a PO with a reference to a contract and that creates too many POs.
    So I am working on a mod that will allow scheduling agreements to work with subcontracting for our kanbans.
    Does that make sense?

    You mean to say u want to get the associated person to that Partner.
    Which we define as Role type in CRM.
    Say a person ABC is having a team lead XYZ , then you can use the table BUT050 and give the relation ship type key value
    Partner ABC must be associated with Team Lead XYZ with some BP Role.
    Ask it from your fucntional and use a select query to get that Team Lead name.

    Hi,  I bought Lightroom 5 a year or so ago from a shop, it was a download card with a serial number on it.  I have just bought the upgrade to version 6, but have been asked for the old version 5 serial number. The card is now missing and so I wondered where I can find the version 5 serial number?

    Excellent thank for your help.  I fixed it another way eventually.  The serial number in Lightroom has xxxx for the last 4 digits.  Luckily I was upgrading to 6 on the same computer and so I was able to register Lightroom 5, which gave me the full serial number when I logged into my account.

          Hi, I have the iphone4 on i.o.s 5.0.1 (jailbroken with sn0wbreeze) and everytime i get a missed call/text, I am reminded within 1 minute or so. How do I change the number of times I am reminded/or the interval in which I am reminded ?
        I've searched but only see people talking about MissReminder for the i.o.s 4 firmware. I remember I was able to do so in the i.o.s 4.3.5 (what I bought my phone with) before, but cannot finding anything in settings to do so this time. Am I just missing something ? or does it have to do with how I jailbroke it ?

    On an unjailbroken iPhone you adjust the missed reminder for texts in Settings>Notifications>Messages.

  • Mail - Number of Unread messages missing in Mailbox list

    Although the number of unread messages is properly shown under Inbox on the Mailboxes list next to two of my three Mail accounts, the other one shows none when there some.  The quantity is also missing from the total number of messages next to Inbox when I collapse the list.  This was working fine for many years.
    How can I restore this feature?

    Quit Mail.
    Back up all data if you haven’t already done so. Before proceeding, you must be sure you can restore your system to the state it’s in now.
    In the Finder, select Go ▹ Go to Folder... from the menu bar, copy the text on the line below into the box that opens, and press return:
    ~/Library/Mail/V2/MailData/Envelope Index
    Delete the selected file. Relaunch Mail and test. It should re-index your mailboxes.

  • Lexmark printer says "a component required for printing is missing."

    hi, im new to this forum so bear with me.
    i use a lexmark x5470 printer and it worked fine for the past few years and suddenly it says, "Missing component: /Library/Printers/Lexmark/Drivers/.Resources/5400 Series Color 1.lut"
    i just refilled the ink cartriges and it printed out the test paper (whenever you refill the cartridges it automatically prints the test page), so my printer definitely works, it just cant print out the files from my macbook.
    i havent re-installed or installed my printer because i don't have the installation disc or anything of the sort.
    any help would be appreciated.

    In the finder, select Go menu, Go to Folder... menu item.  Then enter (or cut/paste) /Library/Printers/Lexmark/Drivers/.Resources/ and click the Go button.  The Drivers/.Resources folder will open in the finder.  See if 5400 Series Color 1.lut is in there.  I'm guessing it's not.
    I did some google searching for that X5470 printer and found a page to download it's support files and found this page.  Then I clicked "change OS" and selected Macintosh and 10.6 from the popups on that page and clicked Filter.  It brought up a link to support code to download; Lexmark 5400 Software support for Mac OS X 10.6.  I downloaded that suff and took a look at it and it will install the requisite 5400 Series Color 1.lut file (among other stuff) in the proper place.

    Recently my copy of Aperture stopped displaying the number badge that indicates the number of times an image has been placed in a book. The example of the indicator is shown on p. 372 of the Aperture User Manual. I have searched the Book preferences and general preferences to see if there is a means of turning this back on, but have found none. I would appreciate any help toward restoring this useful feature of Aperture.
    I recently installed the '08 versions of iLife and iWork, but I doubt that has any affect.

    The answer is that the Grid View must be turned on in View Optics (Cmd-J).
    Tinker with Aperture long enough you eventually run across the inobvious.

  • When using fFire Fox with eBay a number of tabs are missing EG. respond tab for email Drop down buttons for active listings etc.. Parts of dropdowns are missing eg. rigt side of messages.

    I guess I should have used the word buttons. The buttons for drop down boxes are missing. The respond button is missing in email. The button for active listings options is missing. The accept offer buttons is missing for offers I receive. Some drop down boxes are only half shown (right side missing) I have cleared my cache, removed cookies, done something with online storage. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Fire Fox. This all seems to have started around the time I upgraded to 4.0. How can I correct this problem. I love Fire Fox. Right now I have gone to Internet Explorer and everything works fine there. HELP PLEASE
