Components don't show up in a purchased template

All, hopefully someone can help me.
I'm still very new to designing in flash. I recently purchased a template because I liked the page flipping effect it had. However, I wanted to go in and modify the pages. Specifically, I wanted to place an image gallery on one of the pages.
So when I tried to open up my components to drop my gallery component on the page....nothing. My components box was empty.
Is this because the .fla was created in an earlier version of flash and/or as?
I have CS4.

Nevermind - I figured it out by going into the publish settings. Yep - looks like it was designed for flash 6 and as1.

Templates don't show up in the Assets Templates panel !?

I made some templates but a few don't show up in the Assets > Templates panel.
I opened all the .dwt files in Dreamweaver (within the Templates folder), then closed and restarted Dreamweaver. That should “force” Dreamweaver to recognize the templates so that they show up in the Assets panel, but DW didn't.
I also deleted the DW cache.
What could I do wrong ?

I made a new page from that tmpl and saved it. Closed DW ... opened it ... but nothing.
Also deleted the cachefile while DW was closed.

How do I download previous purchases from the itunes store to my i tunes account speciffically Audiobooks more than 1 year old? They don't show up in my purchase history.

I have been trying to download previously purchased Audiobooks from the itunes store to my new computer and ipad. I tried calling the apple help line but they want me to spend $69.99 for the help plan. these purchases are over a year old and on my old ipod now i want them on my new devices. I am starting to get very irritated!! please help.

Are you running the most current version of iTunes? If you are, you should be able to go into the iTunes Store, and click on Purchased under the Quick Links. (You have to be signed on, and the computer has to be authorized to do this). Once you have selected the Purchased from the Quick Links, you should see a tab for Books - your audiobooks should show up there and be available for downloading.
This is all assuming that you sync'd those books to the iTunes library on your computer. If you have not, you will need to sync the iPod first....

Button Components don't show

I have a problem with the button components disappearing when
I publish the flash file through Dreamweaver on the internet.
The buttons are generated with actionscript 3.0 and are in a
movie clip, with moves with the mouse. I use addChild to add each
button and three sub-buttons in the movie clip.
When I export the swf file to Dreamweaver and view it in the
browser, the graphics on the page appear, but the buttons are
absent.
When I decompiled the swf file, they show again!
What could this be? Any help is appreciated.

Yes, I have Flash 9 on Firefox and IE.
The Decompiler is Trillix.
I've isolated the problem to the XML file that is loaded to
the flash. When the button is labeled with a text string and added
with addChild, it shows. But when I load the XML file with the data
and add with the line below (g[n] is the name of the field, n is
index) it only shows in the preview.

My purchased songs don't show up on my iPod

I have one of the first generation iPod Touch. I've purchased songs and they show up on my music in iTunes but even after synching they don't show up on my device. Can't figure out how to get them there. Any ideas? Since Apple change the version of iTunes I can't figure out how to synch after i buy something so usually end up disconnecting my device, reattaching to my computer and then it synchs. Apple support have been absolutely of no assistance.

Automatic syncing is controlled (set up by the user) using the iPod's Music tab. Select the iPod in the sidebar, under DEVICES. Over to the right (near the top), there is a row of "tabs" (they look like buttons in the latest iTunes), that starts with Summary. Click on Music there.
Make sure Sync Music is checked. Below that, you tell iTunes how you want your iPod synced with music. If your entire iTunes music library will fit on the iPod, you can select Entire music library. Then, any change to your library (such as purchasing new songs from the iTunes Store) should automatically sync to the iPod.
Otherwise, if the entire library will not fit or you don't want to fill up the iPod with only songs, you need to set up syncing based on Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres. Below that setting, set up the rest of the Music tab to tell iTunes what playlists, artists, albums, or genres to sync. Only the songs included in your selection will sync to the iPod, so if you purchased new songs, they will not sync to the iPod unless thay are included in the selection on the Music tab.
One easy way to set it up is to create a new playlist in iTunes, and call it something like "iPod songs." From your music library, add ALL the songs you want on the iPod to this playlist (including those new songs). On the iPod's Music tab, select this playlist for syncing. Going forward, any change you make to this playlist (adding or removing songs) will sync to the iPod automatically when it is connected and you tell it to Sync.
You can also set up the other tabs, such as Movies and Podcasts (and Apps for an iPod touch), to set up syncing for those other categories of media. Just make sure the total size of the selection is less than the capacity of the iPod (shown on the "bar" near the bottom).
All of the above has not changed for the latest version if iTunes. It works the same as before...

I purchased iCould recently, but all my songs don't show up. I updated iTunes Match and turned it on, but they're not there.

I still cannot see all the music; some I downloaded and some I purchased. For example, I downloaded two CDs by The Band Perry; one is on iTunes and one isn't. I purchased iTunes Match before I changed computers so I could transfer it all to my new machine without have to load CDs again. I also purchased some songs that are no longer there.
I looked at the article you referenced and have completed all the recommended steps. I have authorized this computer and updated iTunes match. Is there any way to recover the music I downloaded, as well as purchases I made? (I purchased Viva la Vida by Coldplay and it's not on my iTunes. There may be others, but I haven't noticed any others specifically.)

I recently bought ringtones from my ipad thinking that they would also be on my iphone. They are not showing up, do i have to purchase them on both devices?

Settings > Sounds > Ringtone > they should appear in the list.
If they don't show, try syncing your iPhone with your PC and then see if they appear.

If you want to delete a song from your iOS device on iOS 7, tap Songs, swipe the song from right to left, then tap Delete. The song is deleted from iPhone, but not from your iTunes library on your Mac or PC, or from iCloud.

Flex builder 3 don't show new components

Hi,
I've installed flex builder 3 beta 3. The new components such
as the advanced datagrid don't show in the components window.
Actually they were showing but for some reasons they are gone now.
I also have flex builder 2 installed on the same pc, but it
shouldn't be an issue.
I've made sure in the preferences that flex builder 3 uses
the right sdk (3.0 beta 3)

Yes I was definitely running 3.0. I've solved the problem by
reinstalling flex 3.
However sometimes I get a nasty crash when I open a component
in Design mode and when the Properties window of this component is
opened. Then Flex closes and I get a popup with error log. Will
post it next time I see it.
Overall it seems ok though, I'm already enjoying the advanced
datagrid :)

Where are you looking on your iPad for the shows? In iTunes? If so, look under Videos.

You can't currently permanently delete purchases, all you can do is hide them so that they are less visible : hiding and unhiding purchases

1. iTunes won't offer cloud downloads for songs that it "thinks" are in your library, even if it "knows" the files are missing. If you've exhaustively searched for the missing files and there is no prospect of repair by restoring to them to their original locations, or connecting to new ones, then delete that tracks that display both the missing exclamation mark and are of media kind Purchased/Protected AAC audio file. Don't hide from iTunes in the cloud when asked, close iTunes, then reopen. You can download from the cloud links or iTunes Store > Quicklinks > Purchased > Music > Not on this computer > All songs > Download all.
2. Why? Not sure, perhaps 3rd party tools or accidental key presses combined with previously hidden warning messages when trying to organize the library. There is a hint that using the feature to downsample media as it is synced to a device may also be involved, though I've not replicated it. Whatever the reason a backup would protect your media.

ITunes Plus Old songs don't show up for upgrades

I occasionally stumble across previously purchased songs, for example "Time of the Season" by the Zombies, which are now in the plus format. They don't show up in the "Upgrade My Library" area in the store.
There are also lots of cases where old cuts have slightly different listings and don't match up to what's in my library.
Is there anyway to get Apple to allow me to upgrade to the Plus versions of these songs?

Ever since iTunes began, there have been problems where the person ripping the music isn't very accurate as to the MP3 tags, and later the titles themselves.
For example (just making this one up) "Yellow Submarine", 3minutes, Beatles Yellow Submarine can change to "Yellow Submarine", 3 minutes, THE Beatles.... and then it won't show up as a match.
You will find LOTS of these examples if you search on titles you bought more than a year ago, and even though the song is there, it will say "no longer available" just because someone typed the title differently.
