working with
components (scrollpane) in Flash 8? Nothing to advanced or
actionscript
heavy if possible.

Not much to make tutorial about :) honestly... Make a movie
clip, give
it linkage name, define in component properties in the
content path.
That's pretty much it to scroll pane component.

A dialog program consists of the following basic components:
Screens (dynpros)
Each dialog in an SAP system is controlled by dynpros. A dynpro (DYnamic PROgram) consists of a screen and its flow logic and controls exactly one dialog step. The flow logic determines which processing takes place before displaying the screen (PBO-Process Before Output) and after receiving the entries the user made on the screen (PAI-Process After Input).
The screen layout fixed in the Screen Painter determines the positions of input/output fields, text fields, and graphical elements such as radio buttons and checkboxes. In addition, the Menu Painter allows to store menus, icons, pushbuttons, and function keys in one or more GUI statuses. Dynpros and GUI statuses refer to the ABAP/4 program that control the sequence of the dynpros and GUI statuses at runtime.
ABAP/4 module pool
Each dynpro refers to exactly one ABAP/4 dialog program. Such a dialog program is also called a module pool, since it consists of interactive modules. The flow logic of a dynpro contains calls of modules from the corresponding module pool. Interactive modules called at the PBO event are used to prepare the screen template in accordance to the context, for example by setting field contents or by suppressing fields from the display that are not needed. Interactive modules called at the PAI event are used to check the user input and to trigger appropriate dialog steps, such as the update task.
All dynpros to be called from within one transaction refer to a common module pool. The dynpros of a module pool are numbered. By default, the system stores for each dynpro the dynpro to be displayed next. This dynpro sequence or chain can be linear as well as cyclic. From within a dynpro chain, you can even call another dynpro chain and, after processing it, return to the original chain.

Adobe TV helps tutorials for Photoshop CS6

When trying to view Adobe TV help tutorials for Photoshop CS6 all I see is a black screen/box where the video should be. I am running XP, with maximum memory, IE 8, and the latest Flash player. I have also run through all of the check points noted in the following link:

Where to find tutorials for generating standard financial reports in SAP

Hi,
I am an accounting major student who do not have any background in IT programming and SAP as well. I am taking a class about SAP and I have to do a project with the topic "Managerial reporting in SAP". Basically, I will have to do a step-by-step tutorials for the whole class about how to generate standard reports and customized reports from SAP, mainly financial statement reports and the analysis of those statements.
I have been searching a lot from sdn.sap.com but not found anything. Please help me to find the tutorials.

Recommended tutorials for using paths/vector art in Photoshop?

Hi all!
Can you recommend any good tutorials for using paths/vector art in Photoshop?
Honestly, I've had a good look for even one - without much success.
I Have lots of experience with paths/vector art in Illustrator, Fireworks and InDesign but I believe you really can do great things with them in Photoshop now for illustration work.
i'm just baffled by it. I can fill and stroke and edit a vector shape in PS - but if I custom DRAW a vector path or shape, things get confusing!
Hoping someone can point me in a helpful direction

I wouldn't claim to know everything there is to know, but I'm reasonably certain it hasn't changed.
Are the 'shapes' just vector masks with a raster element inside?
Yes. That's an accurate enough description.
And if you apply a colour to a path that you've drawn - does it rasterise?
It doesn't have to rasterize. If you see color, it's pixels.
I was definitely of the impression that a lot more could be done in PS these days that might formerly have been done in ILLUSTRATOR.
The shape/path tools in Photoshop have been enhanced and improved in recent years, but the product of their use still differs from Illustrator's true vector output.

Ripple Training produce some excellent tutorials on CD.
However, they also give away over 50 video tutorials for FCE/FCP.
Many of them are for FCP BUT (most) also apply to FCE.
They deal with each topic in a short and punchy style. I found them easy to follow and learned some useful quick tips.
They are QT movies which can be downloaded so that you can use them whenever you want. (Allow about an hour to download them all - you have to do them one at a time). I found it quicker to download all of them (except for a few dealing with multi-camera work etc.) rather than viewing them on the website to sort them out.

Just a couple of additional points for newcomers:-
1. The estimation of an hour (or so) to download them all refers to Broadband (ADSL). Normal "Snailmail" internet will take around 10 hours!
2. To download each lesson choose File>Save Page As. A window will appear saying it will be saved as a QuickTime Movie on the Desktop. Click Save.

Good tutorials for making objects drop or fly in?

I've been using the Adobe CS for years now, but just getting started using After Effects.
I'm trying to make a video where 2D images/objects appear to drop in from above, stay put for a second, and then fly out into the background. I figured tutorials for something this simple would be all over the web, but I've yet to find one exactly like this.
So far I'm assuming it will be something easy like using the scale effect? Any tips or advice are much appreciated!

Just pick a property like position then hold down the alt or option key and click the stop watch or with Position selected go to Animation Add Expression.
Did you try adding the animation preset to a layer in the timeline? Save the animation preset to your animation presets file and then select the layer, position it where you want it to end, then select Animation>Apply Animation Preset> and browse to the preset I sent you. Works with 2D and 3D layers.
The drop in and fly back animation that you want to do will work better with 3D layers and this Animation Preset could easily be modified to move in Z instead of fall out of frame.
It doesn't sound like you are very familiar with expressions. This one is fairly complex. It uses the in point and out point of the layer along with value at time to create the motion. If this looks like greek to you you'd better explain more about what you want to do with the expression.

you should be able to find the SCA files in service market place using these component name.
Interesting to know why would you migrate from 7.0 to 7.1? or you just want to PoC? I don't think SAP will you support you unless you have made a very good deal with them.
I also heard the version of web channel will bring some really good feature though it's still based on NW 7.0 with ehp, are you going to "migrate" it once again?

If the FM is not released, then any "tutorial" you might find would only be as reliable as the FM itself (particularly it's interface).
Perhaps what you are looking for is FM [SSFT_PPPI_SIGN|Is it possible to use SNC and SSF together ?;?
Note that I have a development request open on this function, but I hope that the interface will remain stable and only the existing "auth_method" (cannot remember the exact name) will be enhanced within the FM coding to make it more configurable.
The reason for this relates to Single-Sign-On, in which case it is advisable to delete the ABAP password. But then the FM cannot work locally, and using the remote option is too confusing for the user as they cannot be expected to know where they are authenticating, as they innocently logged on (the opposite of what this method was intended to solve in the olden days).
What I am hoping for, is that SAP will provide a secure LDAP bind to verify the signature (or at least add a configurable custom method to add custom coding to verify the authenticity of the caller).
My understanding of interpretations of legal reasons, is that just clicking somewhere is not enough (even if it is unintuitive - which some cell phones are as well...).

Where do i find video tutorials for GarageBand '08?

I can only locate video tutorials for GarageBand '09... I have GarageBand '08. Where do I find tutorials for this?

Tutorials for SAP NETWEAVER 7.1

I installed SAP netweaver 7.1 version in my system.PLease provide the tutorials for that.
Please tell me the exact difference between between SAP netweaver 7. 0 and SAP NW 7.1.
What are the added features in 7.1.
please help me.

there are many features that have been intriduced in CE 7.1 ,
one thing is there is no visual admin tool and all the features have been put in NWA ,
you need not create webdynpro java iview in the portal , as soon as you deploy your application
you would be able get the application in POrtal , there is some thing called GPAL (general portal
application layer ) that has been introduced in CE 7.1 , and integrating webservices in easy here
you need not go to visual admin or ask for the access to create the logical destination ,
you can directly create them in the NWA it self , there is SOAMANAGEMENT that has
introduced in CE 7.1 , you can call the external services where you can get the standard
services that can be integrated in NWDS .
