Composer Profiler configuration

I'm trying to configure Composer to use the profiler in Data Services XI 3.0. I can't get Composer to connect to the Access-server for DS.
Tip-offs anyone?

Logical system and partner profile configuration

Hi,
I have a SQL server which is defined as a Business system in my landscape. It is sending records to ECC 6.0 which makes it a JDBC to IDOC scenario (inbound IDocs)
First question is do I have to mention a logical system name for the SQL server Business system too ?
Second question is do I create a Logical system in the ECC system (BD54/SALE) for the SQL system or would it be for the client of the ECC system itslef?
Third question is do I maintain partner profile configurations in WE20 for the SQL business system or for the ECC business system?

Yes, In SLD You have to specify logical system name of the SQL server business system while creating SQL system.After importing business system into Integration directory,in Adepter-Specific Identifiers you can see logical system name of SQL server business sytem which you defined in SLD.

Yes,You have to create Logical system in ECC system for SQL system(Logical system name must be with the same name as logical system name you have given in XI SLD in previous question)

In WE20 You have to maintain partner profiles for SQL server Logical system
For example: If SQL server Business system name is SQLDEVBS and logical system name is SQLDEVLS
In ECC you have to create logical system as SQLDEVLS and
Partner profiles for SQLDEVLS in WE20.

Well, after another call with Apple support and the engineers, no success. After spending over 20 hours trying to debug this, I give up. Apple was basically fishing for a solution with trial-and-error settings on the iphone. Then they wanted me to plug in software to log my iphone connections to the router, etc, etc., etc., at which point I decided I no longer wanted to participate in their testing process and will simply return the router.
25 hours of my life I'll never get back.
Big bummer, and frustrating for all the obvious reasons.

Websphere Integration Question: No profile configured

Hi Everyone,
I am integrating websphere 6.1 without reverse proxy.
I had the following configure and working.
- NetpointWASregistry
- TAI configured and loaded
- OblixAnonymous Mapped Roles to users
- Anonymous Policy for the protected site setup at the DomainPolicy.
Could anyone explain to me what causes this error and advice me what should i do?

I think it is able to find the group, it only failed when it try to view the group. There are more logs from the identity servers. please give me some advice or insights that i should do or to look into.

IDocs, INVOIC partner profile configuration

Hi,
I need to receive the INVOIC IDocs from sender system.
Sender(S) system is new system
receiver(R) system is already exisitng system.
I tried to configure the inbound settings in receiver syste. But message type INVOIC, process code INVL, FM all are already available and configured for some ohter systems.
Now if i configure only partner profiles and distribution model, then is it work.

Kiran,
INOVOIC, INVL, Process codes etc come with the standard system. They can be configured for any partner profile and any sender system.
First, you need to determine the inbound connection. Will the new sender system (S) going to follow the same RFC connection already setup for other sender systems? E.g. Are all the inbound IDOC's flowing through PI or a single EAI system?
If yes, then you just need to setup a new partner profile and use the same port already setup for your existing connections.
If no, then you have to determine how the sender system will connect with SAP. Will they drop files in the SAP's application server? After dropping can they execute the startrfc.exe with required parameters. If they can then you can just proceed with creation of a port to listen that folder (assuming the RFC connection is already setup for that connection) and move ahead with partner profile creation and other mandatory setups. If they cannot trigger the startrfc.exe, then you have to define a new RFC destination (SM59) and a new port (WE21) to read data for this RFC destination. You have to determine when to read the data (e.g. explicit host type etc).

i think this is for inbound idoc of Payment Order/Remittance Advice. When yuo setup inbound partner profile, you do not need to know application

BPM Composer Player Configuration

I Configure my BPM server Behind a proxy (3 SOA Cluster and Proxy Server). when I want To play a process in BPM Composer, and launch to web Form (Not ADF form), BPM Composer try to load form from url that contain server name instead of Proxy url.
for example my proxy server URL is : obpm.test.com:99
and url to Access to Composer is : obpm.test.com:99/bpm/composer
But call Form from this URL : ServerName(computer name):99/workflow/DefaultToDoTaskFlow/faces/adf.task-flow ..........
and Cannot load Form.

Status Profile: Configuration required for authorisation based on user

hi friends
from the sale order , i configured the status profile for authorisation for release the item level .
so what i do for cofiguration to give authorisation particular user(manager) and also not required for user(end user)

Send pdf or photo via email and mailboxes configured via profile configuration (iPCU)

We have bought 2000 ipads, and have pushed a profil config file to them.
In this profile, we configured exchange mailboxes for each users. It works fine, BUT, when we tried to send a pdf or photo file from IOS menu, it tells me that there is no mailbox configured on it and bring me to the menu to configure one and I can check that the mail box is configured on it !!
Please help, it is urgent and can affect the project....

Thanks for the response but I think you missed the point here. I am using different output types for RFQ and PO as well as different custom smart forms and we are using the same custom print program to generate output for both.
The issue is with the print program and not the output type as I mentioned that I have already got this thing working on our IDES using the standard print program and standard forms.
Tomas Talpa's response seems to be helpful. I'll get my technical consultant to amend the code accordingly and see if it works.

Mac Mini Intel Duo - Quartz Composer - Unsupported Configuration ?

Hello Group,
Mac Mini Intel Core Duo 1.66 with 1GB RAM
I cant seem to be able to get Quartz Composer to open a qtz file. When I try to open the RSS visualizer screen saver file, Quartz tries to open iot, and then displays a message saying that I need an Nvidia or ATI card and 16mB of VRAM or more.
System profiler doesnt have any info on graphics/displays below the display line on the roght side.
This Mini is accessed using Remote Desktop/VNC/SSH only.
It does not have a monitor attached (only the DVI-VGA adapter is attached).
Would this be the reason Quartz Composer will not open the qtz files ?

How is Common Phone Profile configured in CME (or CLI)?

Hello everyone.
I have 8945 phones configured using SIP, and when attempting to access the Phone administrative menu, it prompts for a password. Unfortunately, I have no idea what the admin password is. 'cisco' doesn't work. Neither does 'secret'.
Research indicates this can be configured in the Common Phone profile, but it always mentioned CUCM. How can this be done with CME? Or, does it need done via CLI?
Does anyone have an idea regarding what the 8945 default admin password is, or how I can set (reset) using CME/CLI?

was this phone used earlier on CUCM, and have you moved this from CUCM to CME now?
if this is the cause you need to plug this phone back to CUCM and reset the password/remove common profile of this Phone from CUCM, you can't reset this old password from CME now.
other than that you can restore the phone to factory default in order to make the password none<blank> and use further on CME.

Please check EDI profiles.
And it directed me to transaction code WE20.
Could you please help me in making the desired settings and explain why this needs to be done.

I guess either you are using CRM or Flexible Real Estate Management.
Pl confirm the exact transaction code you are using. Are you using BAPI ?
For creating the Partner profile,
Go to WE20,
Click on Create button.
Give the Partner Number, Give Partner Type as " LS"
User type- US
Agent - Your User ID
Give the Message types in the Outbound/ inbound parameters.

DMS profile configuration

We have implemented DMS and created profiles to restrict viewing by document type based on security roles, which works as expected. We did notice that with this set up a filter icon shows up when in the DIR and when clicked displays the documents that are suppose to be restricted, although the user cannot view or open. We were wondering if there was a way to remove this filter icon from showing up?

Maybe I didn't explain correctly. We only want users with display roles to see PDF attachments, so we used the profile to do this. We created a profile and used the "Determine definitions for applications" with display check box for type PDF. This seems to work as expected. When we tested logging in with a display role ID only the PDF doc came up in the Originals section BUT there appeared a filer icon (which doesn't appear in our view all role) in which when clicked shows all other document types in the originals section - this is what we want to get rid of if possible (without ABAP)....hope this is more clear as to what we're looking for.
