Composition widget auto full extend to browser sides

Hi, it is possible to use a composition with oversize width images, centered?
Like when you set the size of an object to the sides where the red line meets, it will do that...
So when the browser size is smaller shows the centered, and when is full screen onhigh resolution monitor, will show more of the images for design.
So far i just can do it manually, but it will show a navigation bar to the right if the browser size is smaller than the oeversize composition.

i putted 20 iframes (each one routed to its own trigger) in a composite widget. Everything is working perfect for me and the users, but :
The deliverer of the iframe-contents (pretty big picture galeries) told me, his server crashes, because every single time, someome enter the Website, the browser i loading every single iframe-content in this widget automatically > so the traffic is way to large, and i need a solution that simply load every single content after a click on the right trigger, not before.

How can i expand a Composition to the full width of the browser?

I want to have a slideshow on the background of my site in the full browser window so i used the blank composition and added photos, I originally made it close to 2000 pixels wide and then I moved back the selection box to the browser line but for some reason it doesn't expand to the width of the browser as it would it a photo. Can someone please help?

THough muse face book answered me with a link to a work around that is not a fix to a very real bug in bot compositions widget and accordion
Just thought I would put a note here.
I found the id number in Inspector and targeted it by adding <style>my css</style> to the metadata head of the page:

I was then able to center the text frame :-)
on my site its not there for about 3 days start counting lol and if you want my working files I will sell em to you for good price as long as you strip out my content and change design

Composition widget to be full screen left to right

Why if using a composition widget as a dropdown target links fade if they extend over a text area

I am working on a site using the composition widget for a drop down menu. I find that if the target links extend over a text area, they fade out before one can click the link and while this can be overcome for desktop and tablet layouts, it cannot for phone layouts. The link below shows the issue. Any suggestions?

Could Widget Composition Blank be full screen?

I'd like to use a full screen slide show on my homepage, and also put a tooltip to show some information on the photo. So I use a composition blank so that I can put tooltip into it. But I just have no idea how to drag the image to full screen.....Is there any way to do that?

At present only the Slideshow widget supports a full screen mode. It would be non-trivial to create a full screen Composition widget given a Composition widget can contain almost anything and some things can be scaled while others cannot, but I understand what you'd like to achieve.

Composition widget slideshow won't auto resume on mobile

I have a composition widget which is working as a slideshow. Works absolutely fine on desktop but the scaled down mobile version won't auto resume once you touch a slide.
I have tried changing resume after times but it makes no difference. It also makes no difference if show target is set to click or rollover.
If anyone can offer any suggestions, it's the first time I've encountered this issue!

Problems with sound when I embed multiple videos on auto play into a composition widget.

I am having problems with the sound when I embed multiple videos on autoplay into a composition widget in Muse. It sounds as if they are all playing at once. Note that within the compostion widget, options - the auto play is disabeled.
I've a television set that has buttons below and I want the users to flick through the channels.
I need the oriantaion to be stacked as they're contained within a frame (the tv). I have tried the lightbox view (which at first seamed to solve the problem), but unfortunately the position, orientation moves when shown on different divises. It Had to be quite precise as I was ovelaying the original frame within the light box.
Could you please help me with this?
Also, I wanted to let you know that I think this software is amazing. Great job!

How can I change the order of thumbnails so it affects the order in the lightbox when using the composition widget - lightbox display?

Hi, I'm making my portfolio in Muse, and I'm using the composition widget - lightbox display. I imported all the images and then I wanted to reorganize the thumbnails - and when I do that, the order in the lightbox doesn't change and so it's not the same as the order of the thumbnails (after rearranging them). Please let me know if there is a way to fix this quickly, or do I have to do it all one more time

The order the items display in a composition widget is the front to back order of the items. You can rearrange the stacking order of the thumbnails/triggers using the Layers panel and/or the Object > Bring To Front, Send To Back, etc. menu items to adjust the order they're displayed during auto play or when clicking the next/previous buttons.

View widgets in full screen

Is it possible to view widgets in full screen. I have only been able to get the half screen presentation. That is very cluttered and small for my older eyes. Of course, I can click on pictures within updates and see those full screen, but I am talking about the top level facebook page for example.

Not vision impaired, just getting older. I just do not like the distraction of having something happening on the left hand side of the screen. This makes the facebook widget unattractive to me. I will just continue to use the computer instead of the TV. Maybe a future enhancement?

Slideshow within composition widget - 100%width image causes bug

Hi community,
I asked once before for a solution.
Tried to solve it by myself, but everything I tried didn't change the problem and no one posted something similar.
I placed a combination of a composition and a slideshow widget at my site because I want to have
- triggers on which you can klick
- 100% width images
- the background images of the middle part of the site should change together with the slideshow image
So I placed in every target of the composition widget a slideshow with only one image (set to 100% width) and the other elements.
When I start the preview in the browser (Safari+Firefox), the images of the slideshow are set to 100% indeed, but the most times during the slideshow they are shifted to the right (always to the position where the other content starts),
or - if I have a very small browser window - they are shifted to the left.
In that moment I change the size of browser window a bit, they switch back to their 100%width look.
Can anyone help me?

Did you find an answer to this? If so, it would be great to see what you found.
If not, I've come up with a workaround although it's not the best designed solution, but it works.
First an explanation. Although I didn't spend enough time researching Adobe Muse generated JavaScript for all the details, I found that the slideshow seems to correctly dynamically set its pixel width to a width that spans the browser window, however the css left property is not always dynamically adjusting properly and therefore shifts the image off of the screen. This appears to be something buggy or unintentional with the Adobe Muse generated code.
So to solve this, the workaround is to keep triggering the window resize event so that the left property updates through the Adobe Muse generated script. It would be better of course to trigger this only when the slideshow changes. Or would even be better if the Adobe Muse team fixes the bug as well as makes it easier to create 100% width compositions so that the slideshow workaround is not even needed.
In the meantime, here's how to implement the fix:
1) In Adobe Muse, go to the page that your slideshow exists on
2) Object > Insert HTML...
3) Paste the below JavaScript

Muse Crashes After Editing Composition Widget and Trying to Preview

I'm working on a site that has a Composition widget (used as a slideshow, stacked options). To duplicate some content I go to one trigger container, Copy a graphic, select the next trigger then Paste In Place. After doing a few of these I try to Preview (sometimes in Muse, sometimes in Browser) but Muse invariable crashes with the message "DBCW/assertTheDataBaseFileIsUnchange- Database file has been modified externally".
I tried saving the site first, then Previewing, but Must still crashes with the same message.
Right now I need to shut Muse down before Previewing my work, not the greatest workflow.
This is Release v 7.2, Build 232, Build 779928.

Yup, that was it. The site muse file was on an NAS; I moved it to my local drive and the problem went away. Inconvenient to be sure, but at least I can work. I'm going to try to put the site muse file on an external USB drive, maybe I can make it portable that way.

Composition widget

Hi,
I have built a fly-out menu for mobile like with help of the composition widget. It took much try-and-error, mainly because I can't figure out how items get *connected* with th widget. It seems like it just has to touch and then it becomes part of the widget. How can I prevent it from becoming part of the widget?
Maybe the layers palette will help with controlling what gets incorporated, and what doesn't?

Why can't I reduce the height of my container box in the Lightbox Display composition widget?

I'm using the Lightbox Display composition widget, I would like to place my trigger at the bottom of my lightbox, I've reduced the height of my image frame but the container box cannot be reduced accordingly. I need to reduce the height of the container box or my triggers will be hidden behind the box. Please advice, thank you.

When you insert the light box display, by default it has 3 slides with different components like trigger, container, target, image frame, text box, next button, preview button. You have to change the dimensions for all components for these default 3 images one by one.
Or you can delete 2 of the triggers (that will resul in deleting all of their components from the widget), then you are left with only one image and its components. Later, you can add more images to lightbox display.
Resize the components as per following video:

The steps are, after you have added the widget on the page:
Delete the triggers.
Then select Image frame, resize it. Move close button near it (the 'X' button), resize the text box,resize next and previous buttons and move all of these near the image frame.
Then click on the image frame, till you get "Target" area selected, resize target area and container will be resized automatically.

My composition widget is not working after the November Update

Since i republished said site, my composition widget doesn't change when targets are hovered over, containers are not matched up with the right targets and the text is missing off the targets on a couple as well.
