Respecto a la contraseña, si no la recuerdas, tienes que cambiarla > http://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4101 Lo siento, pero la guía para cambiar la contraseña solamente la tengo en inglés

The correct RAM specifications for a 13" 2009 MBP are : 204-pin PC3-8500 (1066 MHz) DDR3 SO-DIMM. The maximum RAM supported is 8 GB. Do not deviate from these specifications.

Mi iPad 2 no tiene sonido, solo son audífonos, ya lo lleve hace 3 días a la tienda Apple, volvió a sonar pero otra vez no suena, que hago?

Puede ser un tema de configuración del botón que hay al lado del volumen.
Configurad ese botón para que sea el mute del sonido eso se hace en Configuración.
Después modificando la posición de ese conmutador vuestro iPad volverá a sonar.

Only the two MBP with OS 10.8.5 have the same problem: when gone to sleep, they do not re-find the network after waking up. I've to make them search for it manually (they find it immediately, then).
Any suggestion?

¿Es necesario tener un antivirus para mi MacBook Pro?

Desde hace unos meses que compre mi MacBook Pro, y tengo esa duda, pues tengo información que no quiero perder. ¿Es recomendable estar haciendo copias de seguridad? ¿El Software de mi Mac tiene alguna aplicación para hacer copias de seguridad?

No necesita ningún antivirus. Sin embargo, le recomiendo tener uno si va a almacenar archivos descargados de Internet que copiará a otros ordenadores, ya que puede infectar otros ordenadores aunque al suyo no le afecte. Use Sophos en ese caso. Lea > http://www.thesafemac.com/mmg
Respecto a las copias de seguridad, es importante que las realice. OS X viene con Time Machine, que hace copias de seguridad automatizadas en un disco duro externo, así que compre uno, abra Preferencias del Sistema > Time Machine, y configúrelo. Desde que trabalho com informática, utilizo sistemas Linux e em algunscasos, Windows. Há pouco tempo, meu velho notebook deu problema equando resolvi comprar um novo, decidi ceder-me ao encanto da tãofalada qualidade dos produtos Apple.
Assim o fiz e com muito gosto, comprei um Macbook PRO. Hoje, dia 18/04,com bastante ansiosidade de que meu notebook chegasse logo, liguei paraa Apple para saber sobre detalhes da entrega e felizmente, quandoacabei de desligar o telefone, a campainha daqui de casa tocou, era oentregador. Fui recebe-lo com bastante entusiasmo, o notebook haviachegado bem rápido, muito antes do período previsto. De ínicio pensei,"esta é uma das vantagens em comprar de uma grande fabricante".
Peguei a caixa e dirigi-me ao meu quarto, para saborear meu novonotebook. Quando tirei a caixa do notebook de dentro da caixa depapelão, uma surpresa, era a caixa de um Macbook. Ainda com um pouco deesperança, resolvi abrir a caixa pensando, "vai que eles colocaram nacaixa errada...", mas, infelizmente não, era mesmo um Macbook. De umentusiasmo que eu diria até infantil, passei para uma sensação deextremo descontentamento. A mercadoria que tanto aguardei, não chegoupara mim.
Como disse, trabalho com informática, especificamente, estudo ela.Desde que meu velho notebook queimou e resolvi comprar um novo, estoucom meus projetos parados, minha intenção era retomar assim que meuMacbook PRO chegasse, mas, agora, terei que dar um outro jeito.

How Do I back up mail on my MacBook Pro after deleting it on my MacBook Air?

Hello everyone!
Recently I deleted some emails from my MacBook Air not realising that they would be deleted on my MacBook Pro. When I realised what was going on I turned off the wifi on my Air and continued deleting. Basically I scrubbed just about everything in order to free up space on my Air for my iPhoto collection
Now I want to back up my mail folders and their contents on my MacBook Pro so I don't lose them.
Any suggestions? I had thought about duplicating the Folders on my mac in iCloud. When I select all and then go to the new iClould folder and paste it is very slow.
Does anyone have any other suggestions? Now that I have learned (the hard way!) that when I deleted the mail messages from my MacBook Air I was removing them from the server I am VERY worried. I am afraid that when I reconnect my Air to the Internet it will delete all of my MacBook Air mail folders and emails.
I do have the Time Capsule and spoke to Apple Care here in Sydney about it yesterday. They told me my mail is not backed up there unless I create a special folder. I just tried ringing them again but Apple Care is closed today...

Mail is backed up automatically. If you make backups automatically, open Mail application and then, open the Time Machine app (in /Applications/Utilities). You will access to the Time Machine interface, and you will be able to see all your mails of all the backups you have, and you will be able to restore them. It means that your mails are backed up onto the Time Capsule

Our household has one Macbook Pro & Multiple iOS devices.

My wife has an iPad and iPhone and I have an iPhone. We have separate Apple and iTunes ids. I want to safely backup my wife's data w/o losing anything or merging our data. She hadn't backed up her iPhone or iPad or done any of the updates for 3 months because she'd reached the 5 GB limit on iCloud. There were a lot of pictures and videos from a trip home to New Zealand and my daughter's graduation from college that had not been backed up. Last weekend I read some articles on the internet that said iCloud did not back up videos and suggested using both iCloud and iTunes. I tried iTunes with my iPhone and all went well. Then I attached my wifes iPhone and had two choice 1) new iPhone or 2) restore. I didn't know what option 1 meant so like a fool I chose restore (terrible mistake) and everything in her phone was deleted and replace with a duplicate of my iPhone.
Needless to say I'm in the doghouse in major way! Even so, I still need to know how to safely backup her iPhone and iPad. I bought the additional 20G of iCloud space after getting her phone back the way it was as of the last backup 3 months ago. But that still doesn't help me save videos. And, I'd like to be able to save everything to a stand along hard drive just in case the iCloud backup fails or her devices stop working. I'm able to use Time Machine to back up my laptop to an external drive so one thought is to somehow get her pictures and videos onto my laptop so I could do a Time Machine backup. I don't know if that's possible or the best solution.
Sorry for the long story but I need to know how to do this this safest, easiest and best way. Right now I'm afraid to hook her iPad or iPhone up to my Macbook Pro for fear I'll lose everything yet again.

Backup the IOS devices to iCloud, transfer the vidoes to your Mac with iTunes and backup the Mac with Time Machine

Wireless Problems with my Macbook Pro

I recently bought an Apple Macbook Pro, and I have been experiencing wireless connection issues. I have a D-Link DIR 655, and it is running in the mixed mode (wireless n and wireless g). The problem that I am experiencing is that my Macbook Pro loses connection with my router every once in awhile. But, here is the wierd part. My Macbook Pro shows that it never loses connection in the menu bar. In addition, if I wait about 1 minute, my internet starts working again. I know that it has to be losing connection because when I have lost connection to the internet, I tried accessing the router page, but it would not display. Lastly, I do have a baby monitor and a 5.8 GHz wireless phone. But, I have a Windows machine that uses this router and is on the wireless n spectrum, and it has never dropped a connection. Also, I have many other wireless g devices, and they have never dropped a connection. So, I don't believe it is the router. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I just purchased a new 15" MacBook Pro and I'm so frustrated with the wireless I want to throw it out the window. I have 3 Apple notebooks at home: a 2 year old white MacBook, a 1 year old 17" MacBook Pro, and this new MacBook Pro. I can put them side by side and see how badly the wireless capabilities have deteriorated with the newer computers. The old white MacBook can catch any signal, the 17" needs to be closer and aimed just so. My new MacBook sometimes shows full signal strength but simple won't make connections where both the other MacBooks work fine. **** this. I've been a loyal Apple fan since I made the switch two years ago. But this is about the end. Anyone from Apple listening?
