Failure to Brodcast registration codes for "FREE" Courseware

I have attempted several times to retrieve the registration codes for courseware CD's included with THOMSON Course Technology books. Regardless of how I approach the problem the end result is the same - namely the website seemingly fails to process the requests and broadcast the 2 registration keys I need. I am a registered member of OTN and I am attending Hagerstown Community College, Hagerstown, MD where I am taking 2 courses in Oracle subject matter. I need these materials but can't seem to see any error I am making. Please help resolve this for me.

I get this error as well. When the redeem code "works" I get a blank screen (but no option to download what I redeemed). When the code doesn't work, I get the error you posted.

No code for free shipping through Dec 12 as advertized

I had exactly the same problem as another customer Phil wrote about.. The calendar and book site advertizes free shipping through December 12th. When you are about to place the order, you are asked for a code for the free shipping. No code to be found anywhere. Looked online, Contacted Apple. No response yet. Phil went ahead and paid for the shipping. I think I will just cancel the order. I really hate this kind of bogus come on. I also dislike the fact that while trying to sort this out, the shipping info I entered had all "timed out." I can understand not keeping a credit card, but really, does one need to start over with each delay?

Recently in Dec 2010 I won the Blackberry Torch phone in the Fastest Thumb
texting competition held at 1 court sq , in Long Island
City NY. The Competition was sponsored by RIM & AT&T.
Phone came with no contract and no commitements.

I have to write a very simple LZW algorithm based on the following psuedocode as part of my final year thesis.

and C which is read into a vector which is then updated. The vector is updated with new dictionary entries but the program can't seem to find them!

Thanks a lot. Works absolutly fine except for one small change. When it gets to the end of file it misses out the code for the last word. I've managed to fix this by making a slight change to include a clause when the word is in the dictionary and is at the end of the file - if(i==(original.length()-1))..............

Simple compression algorithm / java & c++ code

We have a java application that sends data back and forth over the internet to a c++ application. the packet sizes are small (30-250 bytes) but many packets are sent back and forth daily. we will be significantly increasing the number of clients where bandwidth utilization will noticably increase
If anyone can point me to some code (java & c++) with employs a very simple compression algorithm, preferrably something turnkey like
compressData(strString);
uncompressData(strString);
I have looked but cant find anything that is for java & c++ and what i found I dont know if it is fast enough for my purposes. it needs to be fast since each second 30-50 packets may be sent/received per application

Interesting... i never considered this.... the packets are very small... in fact the 250 byte packets are when i store packets and dump them every 250ms or so. I really can't go any slower than 250ms, so 250-300bytes will cover 98% of all data
do you know if the packet size is based upon some "standard" of tcp/ip protocol or is it configurable somehow?
Compression isn't going to help much. I believe 250
bytes is small enough that it will fit in one TCPIP
packet. Making it less bytes isn't going to gain you
much. The actual byte transmission time is going to
be swamped by network and TCPIP overhead.
