Compressor choosing multiple outputs for export

Since adding the new pro codecs, every time I send a project to compressor it sets up the project to export in every different MXF output available. When this happens I have to remove them all except for the output I want. Has anyone else experienced this? I feel it has to be a bug somewhere.

What happens here Russ is every time I set up a file to process through Compressor, Compressor chooses EVERY option in the MXF output options and starts exporting the file in every one of these options. As you can see from the screenshot below, Compressor is chewing its way through exporting about 40 versions of the one file. I only wanted it to output in one version, the CUSTOM one at the top of the list. The only way I can prevent this is to methodically delete every other output option, and I have to do this with every file I want to output.

Good advice for the SD DVD, so for the ftp upload, in Compressor, choose Quicktime > H.264 - which does a very good job of maintaining quality while reducing the size of the file dramatically. Once you drag the preset for H.264 to the file in the Compressor job, you can make adjustments to the setting by changing the frame size and or quality and even choose between stereo or mono and what sample rate. So I recommend reducing a 1920x1080 to a 1280 x 720 resolution, and changing the audio sample rate from 48k to 44.1k (unless you're already there). youtube, Vimeo, and other hosts of HD content usualy accept a 1280 x 720 clip and further encode the uploaded file to their own thing - usually flash and the settings I've given you have worked well for me on Vimeo.

Multiple output for Production Order

Can we have multiple output(more than 2 different finished goods part number) for one Production Order?
Or we can have the different way to handle this case.

A production order can be created only for a single product. But if you have multiple items produced from the same process or production line with the same set of activities then you can treat them as co-products or bi-products.
The product with high value can be the main product for which the production order will be created and the all other outputs can become bi-products or co-products.

Potential [BUG] in PS Touch for Android, v. 1.7.5; can't select multiple images for export in different folders

Can anyone repro this; it's somewhat situational depending on how you organize your projects:
In the project selection user interface, go to export (5th icon from upper right) > choose a desired destination (like Save to Gallery or Camera Roll). Choose a project.
If you have projects residing in multiple folders, try and navigate to another folder by using the "back arrow" icon in the upper left. Once you're out of the folder you just left and try to choose another, PS Touch simply does not respond. (It doesn't lock up; it just doesn't register tapping another folder.) I could have sworn I was able to export images in multiple folder at once before.
Using a Google Nexus 2013 Wi-Fi model with Android Lollipop 5.0.1. I can record a movie if need be illustrating this potential issue.

Update: I've worked out the difference between the two sets of errors I get.
The basic error is this:
ORA-00200: control file could not be created
ORA-00202: control file: '+DBLIVE1'
ORA-17502: ksfdcre:4 Failed to create file +DBLIVE1
ORA-15001: diskgroup "DBLIVE1" does not exist or is not mounted
ORA-15055: Message 15055 not found; No message file for product=RDBMS, facility=ORA
ORA-01031: insufficient privileges
However if my init.ora contains the line:
control_files=/opt/oracle/server/10.2.0/dbs/cntrlNEONREL1.dbf
then I instead get the second error:
CREATE DATABASE "NEONREL1"
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01501: CREATE DATABASE failed
ORA-00349: failure obtaining block size for '+DBLIVE1'
ORA-01031: insufficient privileges
So basically these must be the same error, just in the second case I'm not trying to put the control file on the ASM so it fails at a different point.
But both errors must be because of the same cause, I suppose.

Syndicating multiple Outputs for 1 Input file

Hi SDners,
When I am syndicating records output is splitting into 2 Files for 1 Input file.
Example:- 10 records are there in Input file. While importing Import Manager Identifies 2 records as Duplicates and it will create only 8 records in MDM. While syndicating these 8 records are splitting into 2 output files. I want these 2 output files in 1 Output File.
This is not happeneing everytime, Only some times. If I process the same file agian in MDM then it will syndicate in 1 Output file only.
I configured Parameters like this:
Suppress unchanged records=Yes
Max Records per Output file=0
XML File Output=Single File (All Records)
and the PORT Map also like this
"Processing type=Automatic"
"Processing Interval=Continues".
Still I facing the Same problem.
Why it is happening only sometimes. If I configured the parametrs wrongly then it should syndicate everytime output into 2 file. But it is happening only once in a Week like that tooo 1 or 2 files only.
MDM Version I am using is : SAP MDM 5.5 AP06 (5.5.63.71). Any help ASAP.

Hi Kiran,
Can you check the key mappings for the records .If you have multiple key mappings maintained and you have overridden the key mapping in the remote systems property then MDM will generate identical copies for each remote key

Multiple output for the purchase order

Hi Gurus,
My client requirement is to get additional output to the additional partner (forwarding agent) in addition to the existing output going to the partner (ordering address or vendor).
Currently one output is going to one partner by automatically. Now the copy of the same output form should go to forwarding agent.
Please seeking guidance here.

Can you try the following:
Check what is the partner function you have defilnd in the SPRO MM-> Purchasing->Output control.....
Alternatively use NACE t-code , choose EF - Applcation type,
You should have all the additional partner defined then , ifyou have defined the conditon records for all those partners,
you shold be able to generate the output message for all the partners.

Multiple Output for PO at once

Hi Gurus,
We have a requirement wherein we need to send one copy of the purchase order to the vendor and the other copy to the user who created the purchase order simulataneously. The output type is the same for both. How can this be achieved? I tried to do it by entering the same order type twice wth different partner functions, but the system does not allow.
Please guide and suggest me if any special config is required.

If you want to send the copy to Vendor and the person who created a PO , then u need to maintain both the mail id 's in Vendor Master.Also note that coding is required by ur ABAP consultant inorder to pick both the mail id's based on Sequence no ( Table : ADSMTP - CONSNUMBER ).
Other alternative would be maintain the logical destination ( Local as that of user ) in the condition record.ABAP Coding is required in the driver program so that a printout is generated and later converted to PDF and is sent simultaneously .
Here print will be at local destination and PDF will be send to the vendor based on the mail id entered.
Kindly note that without development it is not possible to achieve ur requirement.

Problem with multiple output for software simulated project

When a software simulated project in captivate is published more than thrice, the output is not generated properly, i.e not in-line with the project. Is this a problem with my system or due to some settings in captivate which is not activated?

They're very handy app's for sure, but unfortunately they didn't fix the problem.
Detour DID overide the routing for iChat's general bleeps & noises, but not the audio stream from video conferences (which is the problem I want to fix).
If anyone has any other suggestions for fixes, I'd appreciate it!

Choose multiple languages for OCR in a pdf document?

I use Adobe Acrobat X Pro (version 10.1.12) for OCR. Two scenarios:
1. I have a scanned pdf file, which has English for text, and English and Greek letters for math symbols and formulas. How shall I specify the languages for OCR, so that both can be recognized?
2. I have another scanned pdf file, which has Chinese for text, and English and Greek letters for math symbols and formulas. How shall I specify the languages for OCR, so that all the three can be recognized?

Multiple outputs from LE9 ( to soundcard cuemix/ outs? )

I know it is possible in Logic PRO 9 but I got confused by the comparison charts saying express cannot do 7.1 mixing..

This is my point - the currently active channel does not produce sound through its multiple outputs unless Logic is playing.
So, for example, if I am auditioning different drum grooves from RMX through the multiple outputs (for the purpose of putting effects/processors on the outputs in Logic) this only works when Logic is playing.
Or if, in BFD, I have the direct Snare coming out of one output into an aux, and then a direct Kick coming out and output into another aux, I cannot hear them unless Logic is playing - I can only hear the ambient mic's as these are mapped to Outputs 1-2 which are the initial track you set the multiple output AU up on.
If none of this is something you tend to do, I guess it's hard to understand!

Single invoice for multiple DO & Output for the same!

Dear Gurus,
I have configured an output type for Export & its for Collective billing,where we have a contact,a sales order and multiple Outbound deliveries but have one collective billing for multiple DOs.
Here the issue is :-
1-when i go for collective invoice ,it does not generate a single invoice with all DOs
2-thus due to which output too is not getting generated.
I want the settings needed for collective invoice & output type for this export invoice.

Now let's say I want to reprint that same image in a 12" x 16" size ... to fit within a mat of with overall size of 20" x 24"? Or will the 1st export be "locked" at 6.5" X 9" (proportionately)?

So, for the first one Export it cropped to 6.5 x 9 - and in the Export Dialog box there is a capability to rename the file for exported output - which would allow you to add something like the crop or intention to the base name of the file. e.g. for _IMG0846.nef - setup the output filename to _IMG0846-65x9 for 11x14.jpg and output it at, say 300 or 360 dpi. So, it has a unique name and purpose in your output folder.
For best results, now, re-crop the picture in LR - just open the crop [R] dialog again, reframe the image to the new ratio, 12x16 and Export again - with an adjustment to the filename. e.g. _IMG0846-12x16 for 20x24.jpg
So, now you have two clearly identified image files in your output area and you can provide those to whomever is printing for you, etc. Discard them when you're done since you always have the original to return to to re-frame again as necessary.
This way you get output sharpening and resolution (in pixels) optimized for your output print size. Maybe not super important for smallish prints-but more important for larger ones. Output at 100 quality.

Multiple Output Medium for vendors in Manage Business Partner

I'm trying to put more than one output medium in Manage Business Partner for a Vendor, Transaction BBPMAININT.
But unable to do so.
1. I would need assisstance that is it right to have multiple output medium for a Vendor functionally?

You can maintain Alternate Vendor Contact for the Vendors in the transaction BP; The Purchaser here after can choose which one to use during a particular time of the ordering the purchase order. This will be possible for the purchaser at the time of creating the purchase order in the Basic Data Tab - Alternate Vendor Contacts.
For every vendor contact you will need to have a default medium for output; which will be used to send the PO to the vendor.

Still no multiple selection for output destination?

Selecting multiple transcodes and clicking the settings dropdown changes the settings for all the transcodes at once (you don't have to do it individually for every transcode). Why can't I do the same with the output destination? Apple Compressor has done this for years and it is the one function I was hoping would be added to media encoder in cs6. Can we expect this basic functionality anytime soon?

Thank you Dima, I have used both of those methods to do batch transcodes with a specific output folder and they certainly work but they are fairly clunky workarounds for a simple process.
I think most perplexing is the idea that transcoding serves the express purpose of preparing files for use in different contexts which by and large is how the idea of folders is presented to computer users on a daily basis. Think of your Music, Photos, and My Documents folders. So it requires a backward step in logic to assume that someone would want to put files that have had their intended use changed into the same mental category as the unchanged files.
Please don't mistake my criticism for anything but wanting Media Encoder to be a better product for everyone. I just don't want to have to add caveats and workarounds when I'm preaching the ease of use and functionality of the programs in the Adobe Creative Suite!
