Compressor not showing sidechain button

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'm fairly new with logic pro x and I have been trying to learn about the new compressor and I notice in all the tutorial videos I see on youtube that in the top right corner of the compressor, right above the "view:" there should be a sidechain button/or option with what appears to be a busing option as well. My compressor is not giving me those options and its a little frustrating because I am trying to figure out how to sidechain compress certain instruments with the kick I would appreciate any help/suggestions/etc. Thank you.

Extended Profile Taskflow not Showing Edit button

I am using the Extended Profile Taskflow within a Custom Portal implementation. I have set all the necessary security through the jazn-data.xml so that users can both view and edit within the taskflow. I have also made sure to run the necessary sql scripts to make the sections of a profile editable, but the Edit button is not showing up at the top of the Extended Profile taskflow.
Any ideas?

IPhoto suddendly not showing import button

My iPhoto suddendly stopped launching the import button and not showing my new photos. version OS X 10.7.5 iPhoto 11 version 9.2

Using Photoshop or Photoshop Elements as Your Editor of Choice in iPhoto.
1 - select Photoshop or Photoshop Elememts as your editor of choice in iPhoto's General Preference Section's under the "Edit photo:" menu.
2 - double click on the thumbnail in iPhoto to open it in Photoshop. When you're finished editing click on the Save button. If you immediately get the JPEG Options window make your selection (Baseline standard seems to be the most compatible jpeg format) and click on the OK button. Your done.
3 - however, if you get the navigation window
that indicates that PS wants to save it as a PS formatted file. You'll need to either select JPEG from the menu and save (top image) or click on the desktop in the Navigation window (bottom image) and save it to the desktop for importing as a new photo.
This method will let iPhoto know that the photo has been editied and will update the thumbnail file to reflect the edit..
With Photoshop Elements the Saving File preferences should be configured as shown:
I also suggest the Maximize PSD File Compatabilty be set to Always. In PSE’s General preference pane set the Color Picker to Apple as shown:

Note 1: to switch between iPhoto and PS or PSE as the editor of choice Control (right)-click on the thumbnail and select either Edit in iPhoto or Edit in External Editor from the contextual menu. If you use iPhoto to edit more than PSE re-select iPhoto in the iPhoto General preference pane. Then iPhoto will be the default editor and you can use the contextual menu to select PSE for your editor when desired.
Note 2: editing a RAW file with either PSE or PS creates a new file which must be saved outside of iPhoto, i.e. the Desktop, and imported as a new photo into the iPhoto Library.

Premiere Pro CC Not Showing R button in Audio Clip Mixer

Hello everyone, I am having a problem with PP not showing the R button in my audio clip mixer. I have my mic set up under the prefrences under audio hardware and the mic is showing a good signal under windows however when I import a clip to do a voice over I Only see the M, S and Keyframe button. Am I do doing something wrong? How to I get the R button to show up and activate?

Have you tried the Audio Track Mixer? Choose Window > Audio Track Mixer.
The Clip Mixer is not the right location to record VOs.

The component selectInputDate does not show the button

Hi all!
The document of the component selectInputDate of ADF Faces says: "The selectInputDate component creates a text field for entering dates and a button for picking dates from a calendar."
I'm using this component, but the button never appear.
Does anybody know what is wrong?

the reason why you are not getting a button to press is because you are specifying a chooseId, this defers the button to a chooseDate component that is on your page....the button is only to pop up an auto chooseDate component when there is nothing else specified by chooseId

Problems with my Form not showing " Submit" button.

Hello.
I have finally managed to load my website thanks to the wonderful help from these forums, however, I now have a new problem!
My form on my contacts page does not display the “ Submit” button even though it clearly shows on my Mac on Iweb.
I have properly copied and written the html snippet, and it only shows people viewing my site on a Mac through Safari, but not on explorer or Firefox on standard PC’s. Why does it not work?
I am only using a form as people have told me by placing just your e-mail as a contact it attracts spam and so on.
Also the pages take a hundred years to load!
Is it possible that I need to reduce the size of the photos? Or, as friends have told me, is it because of my provider?

It seems there is always a problem.
I noticed the olives at the bottom of the page display as a “ boxed “ picture also and each of the boxes do not display properly on the outlets page.
What is going on? As I have mentioned it all looks fine in Iweb on my mac.

You will need to make the snippet larger; large enough for Firefox and IE to be able to draw the submit button. Browsers draw elements in different ways and Firefox and IE are known to consume more space on the page to draw elements than all other browsers. In web design WYSI not necessarily WYG.
On the Contact page it's the Google map photo that requires some time to load. When you choose to draw a map instead of a satellite photo, loading time will be considerable less.

Re-install FCP Studio 1 Compressor not show up

I eliminate all softwares in FCS 1. Then I reinstall... all show up except Compressor. I don't understand... HELP!

Websites are not displaying all graphics. Amazon does not show any buttons/links to place orders. My Yahoo home page is not complete. What do I do besides going back to IE?

Colors, icons, links, buttons for ordering on Amazon do not appear through Firefox, but do with IE. My Yahoo homepage is also missing a lot of graphics, pictures, etc. Text is all in blue rather than black

I'm just going to repeat the relevant sections from my previous post with the screenshots this time:
Below you'll see a snip of how my current folder structure appears. It's identical to yours, except there are no button files in the General Folder. Since you were kind enough to include a file name, I did a search on that specific one and it's nowhere to be found on my hard drive. Hmmm....
I've seen others remark on how... "challenging".... Adobe's instructions can be sometime. I'll admit to having the same feeling when I was trying to download and install all the content files and the 7-zip stuff. Is the answer somehow that I screwed up that? Note the 7-zip folder right above the Adobe folder. Here's a screen shot of that expanded folder contents:
Does that look like you think it should? Have I not installed or extracted something correctly?
Finally, the only other thing I can think of to give you as much info as you might need is to include a screenshot of where the "Functional Content" stuff got saved. Adobe's instructions about this (if I recall correctly) were that it did NOT have to be installed anywhere specific, but you then had to go into Encore (& Premiere) and through preferences point to this stuff, which I believe I did. But I don't see any button type files in these anyway.
Other thoughts or advice?

Why is the Hand not showing over button on one level?

I have site with multiple .swf files working on levels. many buttons working properly - but when I get to one level - the cursor is not changing to a hand over any of the buttons. I don't know how to trouble shoot that at all. I am using as2 Flash player 11.
When I test the site locally - I get the hand - when I test on the internet - I don't see the hand on this one level only. And - I tested on a mac with an earlier operating system - I did get the hand. What should I do?

if the button responds to a mouse click then there's nothing covering them.
the only way, i know, you can have a button respond to a click but not display the hand cursor on rollover AND have it be a flash issue is if useHandCursor was assigned to false.
however, there are browser issues that can cause this problem and you may be able to prevent them by making sure your embedding html has wmode="window" (or, just about anything other than "transparent").
