Compressor plug-in missing drop down for side chaining

I want to use side chain compression but the Logic Pro X 10.1 compressor seems to be missing the drop down menu to specify what track I want to side chain to. I looked at screen shots of the compressor online and mine looks exactly the same except for missing that and a couple other elements in the header bar of the compressor.
Any thoughts about how to fix this? Should I just delete and reinstall Logic?

Make sure you have the correct Advanced Tools enabled.
Sidenote: lots of people seem to think that reinstalling Logic will solve issues, but it will not, except maybe in very rare and unusual cases (when a harddisk crashed or hung during install, for instance)

was missing from MSDE 2000, but that was fixed in SP1 I think. Since this is SP3
you probably have a missing registry value for the backup directory.

had to fix a similar problem last year on a bunch of laptops. They were all
missing a registry value. Anyway, here is the fix:
1. Fire up regedit and
look under HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSSQLServer\MSSQLServer
2. Ensure you have
a string value called BackupDirectory. The value for this should be the path to
your backup dir. The default value is C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL
Server\MSSQL\BACKUP
btw, this fix assumes you have a default instance
installed. A named instance will have slightly different registry location and
filesystem path.

#Missing Drop Down Label

I'm trying to set up a data form so that the drop down includes the ability to select #missing.
Initially I thought perhaps you could set a Smart List dimension member's value to #missing. But apparently that would be too convenient.
So I followed the advice in this doc for allowing #missing to be entered: Performance Management Architect Administrator's Guide
I opened up the Smart List Dimension properties for Planning and entered in 'Inactive' as the #Missing Drop Down Label. I saved the information, and when I went back to my form, the only options for the drop down are still the dimension members (Yes and No). Ideally, I would like No to be the #Missing Drop Down Label.
So am I missing a step to get the #Missing label to show up first in the drop down, as it says it should in the admin guide?
Other notes: This is a shared dimension.

What is the setting for Missing Form label? Is it Drop Down Setting? Try that and see

You need to create an object of type CL_SALV_WD_UIE_DROPDOWN_BY_KEY, which is the UI element for dropdown by key, and set that to be your individual cell editor.
For whichever column you want a dropdown box, use the method set_cell_editor to make the editor as a dropdown box. Hope this helps.

Rule Policies: Value drop down for category blank

Hello,
We have implemented Rule Policies in CRM 7.0. When entering a condition for attribute "ICWC_Category" the drop down for "Value" is blank. We have checked the following: Categorization schemas are active and user has access to display categorization schemas. When checking in all other systems, this is working with no issue, but in the productioin system, the value drop down is blank.
If you have any ideas to trouble shoot or recreate the issue, it would be appreciated.

How can I enable the automated drop down for the subject line on the email page as I send more than 300 emails everyday with the same subject line. Before it use to happen in my gmail account but now its not. Please help me as its increasing my work time because I have to type the subject line again and again on each email I send. This is usually caused by one or more bookmarks having a long title.
You can check that folder in the Library and shorten long names.

When NOT using icons on the toolbar, side-bar drop-down for additional toolbar items has disappeared with Firefox 4 and accessing these items requires clicking 'Bookmarks', then 'Show all bookmarks' then 'Toolbar'--ugh, what a pain.

On older versions of Firefox, Toolbar links ran across the top of my screen, with a drop-down to the far right which would show additional Toolbar items for which there was not room on the screen.
With Firefox 4, if I'm not using icons (text only), the dedicated Toolbar drop-down is gone and I have to first click 'Bookmarks' to the right of the Toolbar ribbon, then 'Show All Bookmarks', then 'Toolbar' in order to access my additional Toolbar links. Could anyone have made it any harder?
Why doesn't someone just restore the drop-down at the far right of the Toolbar so that all of my Toolbar items (which I prefer to keep separately from the regular Bookmark items, else I would have just plain bookmarked those items in the first place) are readily accessible?

You see the orange (on Linux gray) Firefox button if the Menu Bar is hidden (View > Toolbars > Customize or right-click a toolbar).<br />
If you need to access the hidden Menu bar then press F10 or hold down the Alt key to make the Menu Bar appear temporarily.<br />
You only see the Bookmarks menu button if the Menu bar is hidden.

"manage nuget packages for solution" is missing in the drop down for NuGet Package Manager

I have VS2013 Ultimate on windows 7 PC and that Nuget Option does show in the dropdown. Today, I setup a vm in Azure, from image I select VS2013 Ultimate, just like the one on my PC. However, when I click on the Tools, Nuget, there is only 2
drop down option, "package manager console" and "package manager settings" are the only 2 available. How can I get the ""manage nuget packages for solution"?
I want to install the xamarin.forms extension and I need this.

Based on your issue, generally, I know that there have two ways to see the "manage nuget packages for solution" option after we install the VS2013 Ultimate.
One way is that it is default that we can see the "manage nuget packages for solution" option by right click this Solution->Manage NuGet Packages for Solution option like the following screen shot.
Another way is that we can see the "manage nuget packages for solution" option by clicking the Tools->Library Package Manager-> manage nuget packages for solution like the following screen shot.
So please check if you can get the "manage nuget packages for solution" option from this above two way again.
If you still could not the "manage nuget packages for solution" option in this VS2013 Ultimate, to check if this issue is related to the VS2013 Ultimate set up file. I suggest you could try to copy this setup file and then install it on other machine
and then check if you still get the issue.

Lock drop down for end users

I want to create a from that contains drop down menus so I can pick values to save time not having to type in the information. I have figured this out! The problem is I want to be able to distribute this form to teachers but not allow than to change the values I have picked from the drop menu. I also want the form to have text fields where they can enter the name of student, date etc., so they would have to be able to edit those fields. Is this even possible? I am probably missing something obvious. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks for the info Bob. I tried that but Acrobat seems to treat drop downs like filling in form fields so the end user can still use the drop down menu.

Hi Shashi,
Your code looks okay. Debug & check if everything goes fine and all the required list of values getting bound to node.
Is any code after this logic, which sets data to table ? if so, that logic is wiping out the drop down list values from context node.
Final check point:
Read the context node 'TABLE' and fetch records into internal table in WDDOMODIFYVIEW( ) method to make sure that, every row of your table contains the drop down list entries in "LEAVE_VALUES" attribute
