Compromised BT Yahoo Email accounts.
There appears to be another spate of the above happening.
Compromised hotmail accounts are sending out emails that if read and links clicked are leading to BT Yahoo accounts being
similarly compromised.
Has anyone any evidence of this happening in the last week ?
Sometimes what appear to be repeat attacks are not new breaches of your account - it may simply be the contacts that were nicked in the first attack being used again as destinations for malware infested mail. Of course if BT have told you that your account has been compromised again and you have evidence, then fair enough.

- enter the full BTYahoo email address and password and it will tell you which IP addresses and locations are shown as accessing your account and what sort of access (it doesn't record pop3 sessions). Bear in mind of course that those can be spoofed.

There is no known malware capable of infecting an iPad, unless it has been jailbroken (ie, hacked to allow apps from outside the App Store). So you didn't get infected with anything, and opening the message had nothing to do with it.
Your e-mail account probably got hacked and is being used to send spam. Changing the password was all that is needed, just make sure it's a good, strong password not used by any other online accounts. Also, if you were using your old e-mail password for any other online accounts, they may have been compromised. There's a lot of information in the typical e-mail account that can help a hacker locate all your other online accounts. -
We just purchased our first Ipad. It is a mini with retina display 16 GB. How do I go back a page? I see no arrows to page back. Also when I log into a yahoo email account and open an email I see now way to log out? Thank you for any help
In Safari, (the web browser), there are specific arrows to go back and forward through website pages.
In other Apps, it will depend on how the App is built.
As to Yahoo Mai it depends on where you are viewing the email. If you are using the Mail App, then you don't log out. The Mail accounts in the Mail App are always there.
If you are using the Yahoo App, You can Tap on the folder at the top, then on your account/name, and then on Sign Out. -
iPhone 5 with iOS 8.1.2 stopped receiving mail yesterday. Have yahoo email account. Can still send emails. Have turned device off/on. Have done the dual off/on thing using top button and menu button. Issue seems to be only with main inbox, as sub folders are receiving mail. Other Apple device is not having issues like this, just on iPhone.

Your issue is with the Yahoo email account which is notoriously bad.
you can try deleting and reinstalling the email account.
If that doesn't fix it try the yahoo email app. -
Since updating Firefox browser, i am unable to gain access to my yahoo email account. I can access the email with Interent Explorer with no trouble. Whenever I click on a mail link on the yahoo sites to check my mail, I get rerouted to an error page ..... "Sorry, we can't find "ca.mg4.mail.yahoo.com/dc/launch?.gx=1". Please check the spelling of the web address." is what is said at top of page whenever I click on any mail links.
This is how I fixed it on my new iPhone 5S. Using the standard yahoo setting on my phone.
You will have to access "managing your app passwords" on your account profile for yahoo. Generate password for your app. For example: "My iPhone 5S'
Go to your Iphone and set up your yahoo mail account on your phone the normal way and you have to use the generated password. instead of the yahoo account password.

I had connected my yahoo email account with my apple email and now wish to disconnect this link. How do I do this?
Open Mail preferences and delete the account. This only removes it from the Mail app and doesn't close out the service.

Should my "Contacts" be "On" or "Off" for my Yahoo email account?
I lost all of my Contacts in my COMPUTER for my Yahoo email account; I then looked through my iPhone to see what my email settings showed and it showed my Contacts were turned "Off". I turned them 'On" and now I'm getting ominous messages about turning it back "Off" again. (I don't know what I'm doing and should never have turned them "ON" without knowing what I was doing.)
Does anyone know if I can get my iPhone email contacts back onto my computer? And Should my iPhone be "On" or "OFF" for my Contacts in my Yahoo email settings?? Help!You only turn that off if you have very sensitive operations and data that cannot be corrupted by power loss or serious loss incurs. Mainly server operations and database files.

hello, this is a scam tactic that is trying to trick you into installing malware, so don't download or execute this kind of stuff! as you've rightly mentioned, you're already using the latest version of firefox installed and you can always initiate a check for ''updates in firefox > help > about firefox''.
you might also want to run a full scan of your system with the security software already in place and different tools like the [http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free free version of malwarebytes], [http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/ adwcleaner] & [http://www.kaspersky.com/security-scan kaspersky security scan] in order to make sure that there isn't already some sort of malware active on your system that triggers these false alerts.

Tap the account id 'button' at the top left of your list of emails to go to list of the folders in that account, and then tap the Mailboxes button top left of that to go to the list of email accounts that you've set up - then just tap the account name that you want to switch into and then Inbox (or just the account id under the Inboxes section on that screen to go straight to the Inbox)
