Compund data error for query

Hi All,
Iss Of Compund data,
Controlling area is a compound object for cost center.
Suppose .......
Controlling are is - ca01
cost center - cc01, cc02
now while we use thes in report variable.
controlling area value given CA01
for cost center value should be CA01/CC01 AND CA01/CC02.
But in Query it's showing me 3 values
CA01/#
CC01
CC02.
Why this data is is available for cost center.
that should be CA01/CC01 AND CA01/CC02.
i checked master data thes combination record is there and coming in cost center data also.
why CA01/CC01 AND CA01/CC02 is not coming ??

Hi,
if you filter your query with 0CO_AREA = CA01, the keys of the costcentre won't be displayed as "CO_AREA/COSTCENTER"; except perhaps the "not assigned" cost centre: CA01/#.
CA01/CC01 and CA01/CC02 will therefore be displayed as CC01 and CC02 (since the CO_AREA is known and well defined as CA01)
If you run the same query with no filter on CO_AREA the system will display the double key.
CA01/CC01 AND CA01/CC02 will be display as is.
If you have both object in the drilldown, CO_AREA and COSTCENTRE in this order, the system won't display the double key either...
CA01/CC01 AND CA01/CC02 will be displayed as
CA01_____CC01
CA01_____CC02

Can you please validated the Edifecs XML you are genering from BPEL against the XSD generated out of spec builder. If you still find this as an issue please send us the ecs, xsd and the xml generated from BPEL for further review.

No data Found for Query with hierarchy in 2004S SP10 in JAVA Stack

Hello,
I have typical issue while running the simple query in ABAP Web and JAVA Web (RSRT) with One row and one column. The char in the row is restricted with external hierarchy.
If I run in ABAP web, I get the results.
If I run in JAVA Web, No data found message displayed.
Does any one come across this issue. Tried to get SAP note but not clear solution.
If any one give me information where I can find the values used for query variable in the dictionary tables I might help in my investigation.

Data Blocks - Different data source for Query and DML

Would anyone please tell me if it is possible in a BLOCK to define a stored procedure for queriying and a table for DML operations or vice-versa at the SAME time.
If possible how do you do it using DATA BLOCK WIZARD? If you select your block to be based on stored procedure then it gives only stored procedure options for Querying and DML operations in next few screens.
Also, suppose I used a stored procedure defined in a block for insert operations, is it implicitly called by INSERT RECORD function key in default menu? How does it take values from different fields on its own?

We get data from both BSIK(open items)and BSAK (cleared items). Obviously if a accounting doc is not cleared it would be in open items and vice versa..

Date Picker for Query Variable

Hello,
I have a query, which has a input variable as date. For the Query Variables when i drag and create an input form, i have the field as input field. How do i change this field to a date picker drop down...I do not get any option to make it as a date picker/calendar...

Hello Vikram,
If I understand correctly, the field type is String, but it represents a Date. You want to be able to edit it as such.
1. In the input Form open the Define Data dialog (using the Right Click context menu) and add a field of type Date (letu2019s say its name is u201CDATE1u201D).
2. On the link between the input Form and the Service Open the Map Data dialog using Right Click => Map Datau2026
3. Find the relevant Field Assign in the table. Here you want to get the Date value converted into a String. From the Assign Value drop down you can choose Define Expression to open the Dynamic Expression Editor (you can skip this and write the value yourself in the Assign Value input if you know what to write).
4. On the right hand side you have model elements and functions to create an expression. You can use the function DSTR(@DATE,[format]) u2013 where parameter 1 is the Date field and parameter 2 is the Format (optional). The function returns a String representation of a given Date.
5. Your expression can look like this for example: =DSTR(@DATE1,"dd/mm/yyyy"), assuming the name of the new Date field in the Form is DATE1.
6. You can remove the old Text field from the Input Form if you donu2019t need it u2013 using the Define Data dialog.

in our scenario any changes to be done in material bom ecm to be created,but when i m trying to do chnages with that no. it gives enter a valid date error.

When ever any changes done in BOM , it can be captured in the same ECM number generated during the creation of bom under a valid date either u have entered or it will take current date as default date .
Now , if you forget that date , you should goto CC03-Engineering number and then check date from which it is valid .In CS02 , you should give that date along the same ECM number .Generally , it automatically pop up or else if it takes the current date during CS02 txn , u need to change the valid from date of ECM number

Stale data error for a new page (based on an existing native sshr page)

Without going into too much detail on why I'm doing this, I copied an existing oracle native page, renamed it, and loaded it into the MDS.
I navigate to the page by creating an extension on a controller to take me to there on a button click. Also on this page, the native page that I copied is also accessible. There is a similar button click to take you to the native page.
I had a business requirement to create records for the current year (the native page), and records for next year. Using a dff to differentiate between the two types of records was not an option.
The copied page is used to simply create records. I extended the native controller to default a value behind the scenes (This is how I differentiaing between the current/next year records). The super.ProcessForm/superProcessFormRequest are there as well in this controller. From there, the page is using the same code as the native page that I copied.
When I click the "Save As Draft", "Apply", "Cancel" buttons, it works fine.
However, when I click on the "Apply Add Another" button, I'm getting the following error:
The requested page contains stale data. This error could have been caused through the use of the browser's navigation buttons (the browser Back button, for example).
Cause:
The record with primary key values {13002} could not be found in view object
AppraisalsAM.ObjectiveEditAM.ObjectivesVO.
To proceed, please select the Home link at the top of the application page to return to the main menu.
Then, access this page again using the application's navigation controls (menu, links, and so on) instead of using the browser's navigation controls like Back and Forward.
I've researched this error all day today on prior postings/threads, and I haven't found a posting that is similar to the one that I outlined.
I wouldn't think I would have to do anything programming wise since this is all native code, and the native page works fine. I'm guessing somewhere the native page is getting reference that is causing this error....

Need to specify date range for query result.

Below is my query. The query as is is working fine. The columns 'totalCalls' , 'totalOrders' and 'totalSCs' are all stored by date. I have created a form where the user can specify a start and end date. How would I change this query to report within those specified dates.

I figured I could add this to the columns WHERE statements;
'AND Column BETWEEN #FORM.Start# AND #FORM.End#' but this isn't working.
Any ideas???

What is the SQL being generated by your <cfquery> contents? Is it valid SQL? This is always the first thing to check when you get SQL errors back from the DB... check what you're sending to the DB.
Second: don't hard-code dynamic values into your SQL string, pass them as parameters.
Re all the subqueries: it runs fine in dev. Have you tried to load test it? If poss move your subqueries to the FROM statement, as then they're only run once per recordset. As opposed to once per row of the result set, when the subqueries are in the SELECT or WHERE statement.

I am receiving an 'Incomplete Logon Data' error for users who try to refresh reports using SSO based universe data connections to BW.
The users login to Infoview with WinAD (SSO through Vintella). Their BW alias is already mapped in through the automatically import user function in the SAP Authentication menu in CMC.
Using the sncgss32.dll for the SNC Library path on the BOE side. BW is using the gx64ntlm.dll.
SNC is set and working for the entitlment user and can import roles.
This issue only affects users that have never logged into Infoview with their SAP credentials. Once a user logs into BO with the SAP/BW credentials, its like the alias gets updated and works correctly from that point forward.
It seems to affect only the synched/imported alias. What am I missing?

Yes. They exist in both the BW and AD. In CMC they alias's link perfectly. They login through WinAD Kerberos SSO. The fact that they have a BW alias allow them to navigae to the SAP/2.0 folder structure to open the webi reports. When they refresh, the report, they get a 'Incompete logon data WIS 10901' message.
If the user logs into Infoview with their SAP credentials. Then immediately logs out and logs back in with SSO/Kerb, the issue is resolved going forward. Meaning this user will never see the issue again. Unless I delete the BW alias from their ID and reintroduce the alias from the BW synch (import users)

SAP MII 14.0 SP5 Patch 11 - Error has occurred while processing data stream Dynamic Query role is not assigned to the Data Server

Hello All,
We are using a two tier architecture.
Our Corp server calls the refinery server.
Our CORP MII server uses user id abc_user to connect to the refinery data server.
The user id abc_user has the SAP_xMII_Dynamic_Query role.
The data server also has the checkbox for allow dynamic query enabled.
But we are still getting the following error
Error has occurred while processing data stream
Dynamic Query role is not assigned to the Data Server; Use query template
Once we add the SAP_xMII_Dynamic_Query role to the data server everything works fine. Is this feature by design ?

I thought that just adding the role to the user and enabling the dynamic query checkbox on the data server should work.
But we even needed to add the role to the data server.

An error occurred querying a data source - with REST services

Hi,
I have a SharePoint 2013 form library library with an info-path form. I need to get the logged in user's 'Display Name' on my form load automatically.
I used REST service to fetch the current user details. In the preview mode of the form, its showing the right name. But when I publish this form to library I am getting the following error.
REST Service --> http://site url/_api/SP.UserProfiles.PeopleManager/GetMyProperties
Please help me to resolve this issue.

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that an error occurred querying a data source with REST services.
It is defiantly permission issue with GetUserProfileByName service
and could be many reasons of this problem. You first try with UDCX file and make sure that UPS is running.

Error occurred querying a data source in office 365.

I have created a simple infopath form and in one of my dropdown box i am receiving the REST services.
when i run the infopath form 2013 in preview it was running good but when i upload it on to office 365 cloud it's showing me error. i had converted the services into UDL and save it on Data connection Library and it's approved.

According to your post, my understanding is that you got error when querying a data source in office 365.
Per my knowleadge, we cannot connect to SharePoint Web Services from InfoPath Forms within SharePoint Online.
Loopback protection is enabled on the SharePoint Online environment and will block calls to SOAP and REST from InfoPath Form Services.

As a workaround, to look up data for some dropdowns from several external REST Web Services, we need to have a Data Connection library in your Site Collection in which to store the UDCX files.
The steps seem to be:
Create a Data Connection Library in your Site Collection
In the InfoPath ribbon, go to Data, then Data Connections. Your existing data connections should be listed.
Choose the data connection which is hosted on a different domain.
Clink the
Convert to Connection File… button
In the location selector, specify the path to the Data Connection Library you created above.
Leave the
Relative to site collection (recommended) radio button selected.
Click OK

"Source not found" Error creating URL Data control with query parameters

Hi,
I have a restful service for which i want to create a URL data control. I am able to create the URL data control successfully when i am not passing any parameters in the Source field. But if i am specifying the parameters in the source field like this Department=##ParamName##, something weird is happening. After giving the param string in the Source field, it asks for default param value to test the url. It tests the url successfully. After that i select XML as the data format in which i am mentioning the xsd like this . "file:///C:/..../something.xsd" . And this is when i am getting the error. "Invalid Connection. The source is not found". I am giving exactly same path for xsd which i gave while creating URL data control without query parameters. Infact i was able to create the URL data control with query parameters successfully till afternoon. after that it started giving me this error all of a sudden. Infact as soon as i was able to create a URL data contol with query parameter successfully, i took a backup of the application before moving further. But even that backup is not working now.
As far as i understand, i dont think there will be any change in xsd if query params are passed to a web service. Please correct me if i am wrong.
Just dont know what could be the issue. Please help
