Compute Dependencies - What does it cover?

Hi all,
I recently had to make a change to a schema object and used the Compute Dependencies report to try to identify what i would need to change in my Apex application.
This has been incredibly helpful, but it doesn't seem to have complete coverage of all the components of my app. Report Queries, (Shared Components > Reports > Report Queries) for example, are notable for their absence. As such, while it's a helpful tool, I can't rely on it to catch every object that changes.
What does Compute Dependencies actually look at when it runs? And should it not also check report queries, as these are validated queries much like those used in Report Regions?
If this omission is by design, what other methods are there that I can use to find dependencies within my application?

The base one year warranty covers defaults in materials and assembly only. The warranty does not cover accidental damage, abuse, or cosmetic damage from normal use.
AppleCare+ extends that base warranty by an additional year. The two accidental damage claims each cost $49 per claim as well. AppleCare+ must be purchased within 30 days of purchasing the iPhone.

DOA means different things to different manufacturers. For some DOA means it fails to work out of the box and will be replaced but if it worked out of the box and failed the next day it will be repaired. For other companies there is a liberal return policy - for Apple if you buy direct from Apple (online or an Apple store) you have 14 days to return. That means you can return a defective computer and then turn around and buy a new one.
(I had a store manager try to get me to accept a repair on a computer with a bad keyboard out of the box. I refused and insisted on a full refund if she wasn't willing to replaced it.)

If the computer's running Mac OS X, move the cursor to the very top of the computer's screen, click on Store, and choose Authorize this Computer.
If the computer's running Windows, press the Alt and S keys and choose Authorize this Computer, or click here, follow the instructions, click on Store in the menu bar, and choose Authorize this Computer.

If you have the horizontal menu bar showing (File, Edit, View,...), select View, then select Show Sidebar.
If the menu bar is not showing, dorp down the menu in the very upper left corner and select show menu bar, then follow steps above.

My 4th generation nano syncing problems gave me an error msg over 100 syncing problems where songs were "not authorized" on my computer. What does that mean and how do I get them onto my Nano????

Help! My 4th Generation Ipod Nano won't sync all my songs. I backed-up my songs first, then formated and then restored back to my Ipod. Now it syncs and my ipod shows up in the sidebar, but I get an error message that over 100+ songs were not copied over due to "not being authorized to play on my computer." I followed the directions to try to get those songs restored onto my Nano, but it's not working! Now what?

Are you sure you authorized the computer with the same iTunes account used to make those iTunes purchases? Perhaps this article can help.

If nothing else try these steps.
Deauthorize the computer and log out of the iTunes store. Then close out of iTunes and reboot your computer. Then open up iTunes, log into the iTunes store and reauthorize the computer.

What does apple cover under their one year worrenty

I'm just wondering what they cover from their 1 year warranty u get after u buy it, do they cover broken screens, also do u get a new one when u take it in or is it a refurbished iPod with their warranty?

Like most any warranty on most any product, they cover manufacturer defect.
Damage is not covered.
You can get new or refurbed as a replacement - you do not get a choice.

What does Applecare cover?

I got my screen a bit dirty, and case sounds a bit loose, it makes a cracking noise when I press the power button...If I bought Applecare would I be able to take it in to get the Screen Cleaned and my case tightened?

Despite this board being under the support section, it isn't really a link to AppleCare. Call AppleCare directly to ask the question at 1-800-APLCARE. This is more a user to user help forum, than a direct link to get answers from AppleCare, and the Terms of Use tell me not to discuss Apple policy, so from the sounds of it, this would be a policy decision which only discussing it with AppleCare directly can decide whether or not they'll cover it.

I connected my ipad to the charger and the apple logo appears, as well as small words on the side that you'd usually see on an actual computer. What does this mean? Is this a virus?

It is not a virus. It is most likely a software problem on the iPad. Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support.

Have you checked to see what the Partition Map is? It sounds like, and this is a stab in the dark, that you might not be set on a GUID format.
To check, go into Disk Utility and highlight the drive you want to use. in the bottom of the Disk Util box, you will see the details of the disk itself. Check to see if it is GUID, listed under Partition Map Scheme.
If it is then you have a different issue and one that I am unable to answer. If it isn't then you will need to back any data up from the drive you want to use and reformat the disk to GUID. This should then correct the install issue you are experiencing. Reformatting is relatively easy, just following the prompts in the Partition Tab, in Disk Util.
However, to reiterate, back up any data ypou wish to keep prior to this! Reformatting will wipe the disk completely.

What does 'Other' cover in IPOD Capacity?

As a family we have a few ipods of differing sizes and generations. All working fine apart from one thing.
When I check for capacity usage in itunes two of the ipods show quite a lot of memory taken up under the 'other' catagory. Does anyone know how I can reduce the amount of information stored under this area? One of the ipod nanos has almost half of it's current space used up by this catagory of data.

In a related question, is 20.3mb of info in my 'Other' considered a lot?
Also, below is a list of the files and their sub folders:
Calendars (empty)
Contacts (empty)
iPod_Control (device(preferences/sysInfo)iTunes & Music)
Notes (instructions)
BOOTEX (the results of a disc check of the iPod itself)
My question is other then the iTunes folders, can I delete any and/or all of these files and their related contents and if I do so, will my iPod still work correctly?
Probably a stupid question I know, but I really don't know much about the inner workings of the iPod and I also don't know which program to use to read any of the files listed.

What does this cover " 2YR 500-599.99 MOBL COMP BTP" in laptop repairs

My laptop has crashed or at least has some type of Hard ware virus. Im not sure yet I have the BLACK SCREEN OF DEATH with a blinking white cursor. Im able to get to the BIOS screen from the gateway logo by pressing F2 but no further. Should I trash is and start saving for new one. I purchased the laptop 08/26/2010 with a 2yr things not sure what all it will help with as far as discounted price on helping the repair. I can't afford to pay 200 or 300 dollars in repairs. Please help so I will know around how much I will looking to spend.

Sounds like it is most likely a hardware issue, if it powers off immediately. Most likely a bad stick of RAM. As you're going to do, take it in, and a diagnostic can be done on it(covered by your BTP).

What does Apple Care+ cover for accidental?

I plan on getting the extra coverage, what does it cover? When they say it covers accidental coverage for $79 fee, what damage is covered under that?
Note: I plan on buying the coverage for the iPhone 6
