Computer and TV Tuner

I recently bought a new all-in-one Dell computer. The reason I bought it is for the TV Tuner that it came with. About a month and a half ago, my computer would start to record a show but it would have a green bar that flickers at the bottom of the screen the whole time the show was recording. Also, sometimes it will record a show and then half way through, it turns into just a white screen. Does anyone know if this is a bad tv tuner or what? I just purchased the computer in August of 2011.

Unfortunately, if your video graphics card is the problem then I would say "NO" it cannot be replaced. Technically, it can be but the cost would be such that you would easily buy a new computer or two. This is a draw back to dedicated graphics cards they are not replaceable. If you dispose of your computer make sure you backup your data.

If you used icloud for your contacts and calendar then you should have no problem. They will all come back on the phone once you put the icloud user name and password in. Itunes does not store the contact information except in a backup file and if you were backing up using icloud you can use that backup to restore with.

Updating 2 devices on same computer and I-tunes...

My Husband and I both have I phones, I downloaded I-tunes to our PC and set everything up, also updated my phone. When trying to plug my Husbands phone in and update his it will not work, says it is going to erase everything to make sure its saved on computer.... I dont know what to do we only have one computer and I dont know how to update his on the same one....

Not sure what the issue is. Nothing unusual is happening.
The iphone is designed to be synced with the computer. Everything on the iphone should always be on the computer, particularly before any update.
Some updates do indeed erase the iphone. This is why you should always have everything on your computer.

How can I get my data from my touch to a new computer and i-tunes account

I have authorized the new computer and set up sharing but I cant seam to import my play list from the other computer, and will I lose all my apps if I plug my touch into the new computer. Please help

- Transfer iTunes purchases by:

- Transfer other music by using a third-party program like one of those discussed here:

- Make a backup of the iPod by connecting the iPod to the computer and right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and selecting Back Up.
- Restore the iPOd from that backup.

Try this... launch iTunes on your computer. From the menu bar click Store / Authorize This Computer.
Then try transferring iTunes purchases (only) from the iPod.

Have you copied your content over from your old computer and onto the new on ? If not, and you still have your old computer, then there a number of methods described on this page which you can use to copy your library over : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4527 . If you no longer have your old computer then have you got a backup of your content that you can copy onto the new computer and add into iTunes ?

The computer (windows platform) where I initially began using Itunes has four other computers/devices that are shared with it. All four of the other computers show up in my account, and can be managed. Or I can remove them. But on the new computer that I want to be my base computer (home if you will). The computer I want it to replace, when ITunes is open, has a tool bar, with various functions. All of the other devices are linked to that computer in ITunes, under Home SHaring. The new computer, shows the downloads via Home Sharing, but it does not show/have any tool bar.
I want to activate the new computer to be the computer via ITunes where all of the devices are linked to it as the base for ITunes. And, I don't know how to make that happen.

HT1420 my i tunes account is authorized on 5 computers. however all but 4 of them have crashed and i was unable to remove the authorization from them. now i have purchased a new computer and can not authorize it. is there anything i can do to fix this?

My i tunes account is authorized on 5 computers. However all but 1 of them has crashed or broken and I now longer have them. Due to them breaking i was not able to remove itunes from them. I have now purchased a new computer and due to the 5 limit I am unable to authorize my new one. Is there anything that I can do about this with out loosing all my purchased music? I use music for my business and it is extreamely important that I don't loose it. please HELP!!!

Use the Deauthorize All function documented in that article; while it won't delete your music, you should have a backup of it anyway.

I have a PC computer and an i-phone 4S. I set up an i-tunes acct online w/ icloud. After a recent update my PC started receiving an error message on start up. It says "AppleSyncNotifier.exe - Entry Point Not Found". It also says, " The procedure entry point smlTextreaderConstName could not be located in the dynamic link library libxml2.dll". I click on OK and it moves on. It doesn't seem to affect my computer, but it's annoying. Any ideas on correcting this?

UPDATE - (Made a second post so it'd be clearer)
I uninstalled Office 2003, then iTunes, then all of the associated software (Mobile Device Support, Apple Update, Quicktime, EVERYTHING)
Reinstalled Office 2003, then Office 2003's Service Pack 3, then all Microsoft Updates for Office 2003. Then I configured a blank Outlook profile, no data other than the IMAP info for my .Mac/Me account. Then I downloaded (didn't used my existing copy) of iTunes 7.7 and reinstalled. Sync'd phone. Changed MobileMe settings. Told it to sync contacts and calendar with Outlook. It warned me because it was the first sync. Told it to take ALL of the MobileMe data and replace the data on the computer (which was blank.) NOTHING showed up in Outlook. When I tell it to sync Contacts with the Windows Address Book, it works fine.
In Conclusion, it still won't sync with Outlook, when it's set to Sync with Outlook I still get the annoying MAPI errors. So I switched to to Sync the Contacts with the Windows Address Book, and I'm backing up my WAB file now with my nightly backups.
I suppose we'll see if it gets fixed when I format/reinstall on Vista Ultimate in the next month or two. If anyone has any suggestions, I'm open and willing to try them.
On a completely unproductive note: Despite my love for Exchange, I hate MAPI.

I had an I tunes account with my work computer and e mail . The company went bust and the e mail and computer were no longer available to me .all of my I tunes purchases were on this computer .is their anyway I can retrieve this information. Thank you

The company went bust and the computer went back and the e mail closed down so I have no access to my iTunes library .
